Just a quick Uber ride from the border and you can be munching on fresh ceviche and savoring an ice cold glass of house-made sangria. That's exactly what we ordered! I appreciated the option for indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was an extremely hot and humid day, we opted to sit inside, where the fans were a lifesaver. We ordered drinks at the bar inside and then picked up food from one of the several vendors outside. The staff was welcoming and checked on us several times, even offering our group a large table upstairs, which was a considerate touch. From coffee to pastries, sweets, snacks, wine, beer, seafood, pizza, and everything in between, Telefónica is a great way to start or end your day in TJ. It was lightly flavored And the curry tasted like realcurry and it was not overpowering, the chicken breast was fresh and the portions were very very generous. The price was ridiculously low. I wish this guy the very best. You should absolutely try this place. You will be pleasantly surprised. This is not a fancy restaurant at all. It's tiny but it packs a punch.
