We came in last week to celebrate the successful end of a first week of school. Little Lark is around the corner from us and we had yet to try it. It was Pizza Friday so what a better time. Nestled inside the Guild Row there was a large outdoor patio area and a few seats in a covered area near the kitchen. Our party took up an entire table but it looked like the tables could accommodate community style seating. We ordered a peach spritz and a watermelon margarita. Both were very refreshing. For food we ordered the chopped salad. It was clear they massaged that radicchio real good because there wasn't a single bit of bitterness. The vinaigrette was really nice andd not overpowering. We also ordered a margarita pizza, sausage pizza, and the potato pizza. I think the overall consensus was that the sausage was the best. I enjoyed them all though. The potato pizza was unique. I like the pesto and capers that brought some salty/ briny flavor. I'd love to try some of there different options next time. If you're in the area definitely give it a try.

We stopped in to Little Lark on a Sunday - the day after Valentine's Day to be exact. It was a quiet night - only three other couples present - post Valentine's Day hangover, no doubt. We enjoyed our entire experience. My favorite part was shortly after we ordered our drinks, when the R&B music mix served up Darling Nikki. I recognized it right away - I haven't listened to that song since 1989, but once you hear it, you never forget that intro. IYKYK. I enjoyed hearing about Nikki's enthusiasm for periodicals and hardware, but to my chagrin Tipper Gore abruptly forwarded the mix, dropping Just Like Heaven - a love song in a decidedly different idiom. Mon dieu! We had just signed on the dotted line - we had no opportunity to grind. Fortunately, the food was as tasty as the ambiance was entertaining. We ordered the salad, two February specials - stuffed shells and chicken pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. It was a lot of food. The pasta shells were very fresh and swimming in cheese. I would have preferred more sausage was used in the stuffing but it was still very good. The pizzas are excellent - as other posters have noted, the crust is thicker than a usual Neapolitan pizza, and so will fill you up faster. The pepperoni was delicious as was the sauce. Chicken pizza isn't my thing but Kelly thought it was excellent. They have an interesting cocktail program and the Bramble is a tempting mashup of rye and rum. Its a gorgeous scarlet color and well made, but predominantly tart in flavor, so if you are a traditional bourbon boozer you may want to look elsewhere. The wine program is small but the options are all very astute. A German red is a surprise and its mild earthy profile makes for an easy drinking partner with the pepperoni. The French rose and Vinho Verde are also excellent choices. Service is friendly, and there is a large courtyard which will make for a fun stop in warmer months. Fully accessible with fancy new bathrooms.

Was caught-off guard by this new place just off Belmont by the Chicago River but pleasantly surprised by its unique feel and great cocktails. Nestled in with Guild Row, this place specializes in pizza but I came for the bar and drinks. I started with the Pineapple G&T which was excellent. Not too sweet and not overpowering with Gin. Next, I tried the spicy peach cocktail which was equally as good. Shout out to Blaze the bartender who was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Will be back for the food.

Was excited to have a pizza place finally within walking distance and checked this place out last night. The place has great architectural design, from the patio to the washrooms to the dining room. Great customer service and great food. The pizzas are on the smaller side (12") so be sure to order other items as well. We loved our potato pizza and the dessert was to die for. I'd definitely come back.

I am very happy this place moved into the neighborhood. I love a woodfire pizza and this place didn't disappoint.

Staff was generally quite uninterested and rude, I rarely complain about anything but this was just awful.

Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

We waited 20 minutes past the reservation as the table before us was not vacated. We were given a table in the back with zero airconditioning on a hot, humid day with box fans. Everyone was sweating - horrible ambiance. Food was sold to us as family style - portion size was NOT family size and not enough for our party. Nevertheless, the food did not warrant us torder more of it- we did enjoy the overpriced tomato and the fritto misto. Skip the onion dip - not great. We enjoyed the capellacci while the cavetelli and the spaghetti alla chitarra was just ok. The gelato was the highlight of the night but honestly we couldn't wait to leave the restaurant. It was extremely disappointing to not have been consultated as to whether we wanted to wait for our original table in the main dining room instead of seating us in the back by the bathrooms. I havent seen family members in months as everyone lives on different coasts - this essentially ruined the whole experience. The food was not memorable enough to counteract the seating issue. Given that you pay a reservation fee, either put a time restriction on your tables or space your reservation times better but never use a space that lacks air flow.

I am a salt girl but even without clear shards fo salt on each chip these were the perfect amount. the dip was cool and creamy, more of a tzhaiki like coolness than a zingy guilt ridden onion dip - I tried the Agnolotti purely to eat purple pasta. the inside was filled with beet puree and ricotta making the dish hearty and filling. it was slightly earthy as the beet flavor powered through more than just the light sweet sauce. the roe on top miraculously made the dish slightly fishy everywhere to the degree where I asked the waiter if there was fish inside the pasta.....I loved it - the Cappellacci was a flavor rollercoaster. right away you taste the sweet summer squash, a warm and comforting taste. as you swallow your throat is punched with a chili kick. all on top of cloud like pasta pieces - the Pappardelle was about the pasta, the al dente thick cuts showcased the housemate pasta. maintaining an al dente doughy goodness with the quality of the ingredients keeping the pasta fresh and far from what comes in a box.

You can also just skim through and find the drink that sounds the best to you if reading isn't your favorite (). My husband got the Cattails drink and I got the Water Lily. His was bursting with tropical juiciness and mine was complex with umami and floral flavors. We both loved our drinks and were sad we couldn't stay longer.
