While it looks like it has been three years since I have been here. Large restaurant with great…read moreparking. Bar in the center area and wow what a list of adult beverages. Unfortunately this was a working lunch so had to have raspberry tea. It wasn't bad. May have had two. Yep I did. I ordered us a candied bacon to start and then I had the tuna poke salad. The bacon was delicious but some was a bit charred. I still ate it cause it was delicious just a bit charred on the ends . Now the Tuna poke salad was interesting. Not a typical poke bowl. Very tasty and yes it and the bacon filled me up. The rice said it was a coconut rice. Well it is. I tasted in the first bite and it was pleasantly different. Service was great just soft spoken. Too many years around construction equipment other things that don't help hear in a restaurant. I would love to come back in the evening so I could enjoy one of their list of adult beverages. Next time I will try and not stay away so long.

Our service was OK, but they were pretty busy. My only true complaint is that it was so loud that we had difficulty hearing one another speak, which is not ideal for girls night out. To be fair, the soccer game was on the telly, and the crowd was pretty riled up.

We were in town for a soccer tournament this weekend and stopped in with 3 adults and two 18 year…read moreold players. When we sat down, they gave us a menu that said soccer menu on it. the menu was filled with things like chicken fingers and mozza sticks. We asked if we could order off the regular menu and the waitress said no. If your here with a soccer player, that is your only option. The menu was filled with food for kids so we wanted to see the other menu. I guess the waitress got frustrated and maybe pegged us as city folk and said, " what do you want.,, salads?" nah lady we just wanted to see what else you offered. I love a good dive bar and the parents were ready to put down some beers but instead we got up and left because the waitress seemed annoyed by us because we didn't want to eat chicken fingers. Trying being nice to strangers and you'd make a fortune on tournament weeks. Plus the snotty remark about salads just shows your ignorance, we weren't from a woke city and wanted to run up a tab. don't judge a book by its cover.

I like how they put salt and pepper on the fries - most spots don't go the pepper route too but I dig it. Bacon was crispy and the cheese was melty - perfect grilled cheese. My bartender Ashley was awesome. Super attentive and fun to talk to. They take cards, including Amex. I'll definitely be back to try some other stuff on the menu.

"Bangin chicken cheesesteak" - really good. The bangin sauce was like a tai chilli, but it really worked.

Walk in and the board challenges you with your options. There is even uh ... a Veggie burger (they keep a corner of the grill clean for those.) for those who don't indulge in the good stuff! Speaking of the grill ...it is kept nice and clean when the meat's not sizzling. Went with THE BLEND (chuck and brisket) on a pretzel roll. Added some aged gouda plus horseradish aioli oh my ...OH YES!!! Served open faced for the eyes to take in but I was eager to close it up and enjoy!! Cooked medium ... the juices poured out ... yes it got sloppy-good! The beef flavor came through midst all the other roll adornments! Tasted oh so good! A great burger! Ordered a side of fries ... they were plentiful but merely ok but we came for the BURGER!! Service was great ... friendly and interactive! There are only a few small tables (No room for all your friends!) and the "barr" which is a lengthy counter where you can eat your burgers elbow-to-elbow with friends or strangers. Another plus is the soda is top notch made with cane sugar (I chose water though.). If you're hungering for a really good burger now you know where to go.

These folks never fail in delivering great food and service. Last I was there I had the cream of…read morebeef and also the cream of asparagus... Excellence on a plate! Their steaks are amazing to the point you need no steak sauce. Their steaks steak sauce doesn't do it credit. I love that it's a historical place and you can see it through the building. Perfect for that romantic dinner with your significant other. The only downside I see, but not their fault, is that booking a reservation can be a bit of work. They book out quick and weeks out. Once see come visit them, you will understand why they book out rapidly. I'm looking forward to coming around soon.

Pacing started ok then went downhill with limited check backs and ended with no check backs for dessert or if check was desired. After 30 to 40 minutes had to track down waiter and told him no desserts were now wanted (We were going to order the bread pudding). He took a steak to box up and came back several times to attend to the other tables and no boxed up steak. Finally came back. Most disturbing was that two prime ribs were ordered rare and this was a 5:15 seating and came to the table full on medium. Cap completely grey and balance barely pink on both. How could they not serve rare this early in the evening? The waiter took them away and promised to bring back two rare entrees. We declined and ordered different entrees as our spouses ate their meals. Instead he brought the same ones back and said that's all they had. Literally a few minutes later I saw other rooms being served six or seven beautifully rare prime ribs. I asked how that could be and he said the chef wouldn't carve a roast for our order and we would have to finish the older roast regardless of rare roasts available in the kitchen. I have never seen such poor service and disregard for customers at a restaurant claiming to be of superior caliber. No offer to comp meals or even free dessert. I still tipped him well although I wonder if I should have. I haven't written a review in quite awhile but this was something I feel should be shared if you're considering this place. It's not easy to get to and I may not be worth the trip if this is how you're treated. We've been here several times before and each time it slips a little bit more. Likely won't be back.
