Amazing authentic Italian food with large portions. The best marinara sauce I have ever had hands down. Our waitress was very efficient and knowledgeable of the food and was able to answer our questions and make recommendations. Delicious food! There were 3 of us tonight, so we shared large salad and one of the sandwiches they are known for. Portions here are substantial which makes it easy to share food. The bread the sandwich came on was amazing! The meat was seasoned well and very tender. Other ingredients in the sandwich were good too. The salad was also delicious! Veggies were very fresh as well as the meats and cheese on it. Loved the dressing! Had the house Italian. I also purchased 2 jars of their sauce to go. Had their sauce before and it's amazing! A plain salad but the dressing made up for that. Yum. We shared a large pizza with extra sauce, pepperoni, bacon & onions. There were four of us & we savored that pizza. I used to love getting food from Sarinas. Was in Philipsburg visiting family and decided to stop at Sarinas. Owner is rude and the cleanliness of the cooks is very questionable. Food is overpriced. Restaurant is dirty. We were told to seat ourselves, which is fine, however two of the tables were tried to sit at were dirty with bits of food on them. The experience was sub par and we on't be returning. There are many other places around that don't have unfriendly owners that talk about customers negatively to their staff. read more

I have eaten at Sarina's many times, the food has always been very good. Tonight my son had a baseball game in Philipsburg. It was 8:50 when we arrived, they are open until 10. The owner made my family very uncomfortable the way he was speaking to the employees and complaining that he wanted to go home. The pizza came out and was good, my pasta was a different story. What can I say about Sarina's? It's a Philipsburg tradition that has fallen behind the times a bit. Quality of the food: this varies so widely it's a crap shoot as to how good your order is going to be. If the owner, or the shorter guy with glasses makes your pizza, it's good. The other ones... We specifically ask for pizza to be well done, and if the other guys are there, it isn't. Their ingredients are superb. Their sausage is amazing! But like I said, if your order is prepared correctly, you'll get a tasty treat. Another few things that takes stars away. The price. This place is expensive for a local pizzeria. A two topping pizza shouldn't cost $19. They also don't do specials or coupons. The interior. Needs updated pretty bad.
