It looked more like a enchilada. When I cut it into it, it was indeed a poblano pepper, but it was covered in a red ranchero sauce in addition to the queso. The coding was very soft and mushy, and it didn't have much flavor. When I cut into it, it was cold inside and I had to send it back to be reheated. We learned this morning that if we want something genuine, El Dorado Diner is here to save the day. Our waitress, Domiana, assured me that all of their offerings are either homemade or imported straight from Mexico. Moreover, their tacos are not loaded up with cheesy gunk, but come adorned just as they should: onions and cilantro. That's it. On a corn tortilla. Thank you and gracias, as our food was delicious and the meat was real barbacoa with its quintessential smooth texture. The tamales looked and tasted like . . . well, Mexico.
