They are very caring and creative keeping the kids busy and teaching them all day. O2B teaches preschool curriculum, our child has learned so much since joining. They offer a high quality education and experience for children. The cost is fair but like all child care not cheap but for the quality and experience I am willing to say it is worth the money.

No one knew he was coming, his name, or where he was supposed to go. When picking my son up, the teacher always gave me a laundry list of her annoyances (he asks to go potty too much, he cried a lot, he talks too much, he doesn't nap) which you would have known a lot about my son had you reviewed the paperwork I had to fill out before he started. The very last day my son went here, at drop off I saw one of the morning staff being really rough, rude, and unkind to a little girl who was playing in the sink. I messaged the director about it, apparently, they did not care and I was never contacted about it. That day, I picked up my son and there was a hand mark on his arm. Every day I went to pick him up he quite literally ran out of there. One day he came home with a bruise under his lip and his eyes were swollen and nobody said a word. My husband called and they said he had been bawling ALL DAY!!! No one even let us know. It took two weeks for the swelling on his eyes to go down and the bruising on his lip to go away. After checking the DHS licensing website and seeing what kind of violations this place has had over the years, I am happy to say we have found a much better place/program for my 2 year old to go that does not include screen time babysitting my kid. You get what you pay for.

The communication between us and staff is always excellent. When we started here, one of my sons cried a lot and struggled with the transition. We were so impressed with how much time and attention they spent to acclimate him. They did many great calming techniques that our pediatrician was impressed with. Now, when we go to pick him up, he runs and hides because he doesn't want to leave! They go above and beyond with both their care and education. I also love that my kids learn spanish culture and language! Will continue to go here and will be so sad when they graduate to kindergarten!(thankfully not for a while)

It pains me to have to write an update on our experience at BCEC that ended up with my preschooler…read morebeing unceremoniously kicked out by the CEO, Leah, while, Tessa, the center director was on vacation. Things at BCEC started out strong and both our kids seemed to be doing really well there. We were happy with the infant and toddler teachers up until the day we left. After a few months at BCEC, my oldest daughter was regularly coming home from the preschool telling us how Ada yelled at her. Then we started getting notes sent home every single day outlining seemingly innocuous 4-year-old behavior. "Didn't want to nap." "Didn't want to sit still during story time." We weren't seeing any of the problem behaviors at home that BCEC was insisting were happening at the daycare. It got to the point where Tessa told us that she thought that our daughter needed to be evaluated for autism. We were shocked. We had no reason to believe that our daughter had autism, but we trusted BCEC because they were spending the whole day with her so we worked with the school district to have her evaluated. This whole time we were in regular communication with Tessa. We were coming in for regular meetings. We were bringing all sorts of tools to school to try to help our daughter follow the rules and schedule. Tessa ASSURED us that if they decided to "refer our daughter out" that they would give us plenty of time to find another daycare for her. When the school district came in to observe our daughter in her class the administrator told us that she spends time in A LOT of schools and she found the BCEC preschool class to be one of the most poorly managed classrooms she's observed. The curriculum was not age appropriate where Ada was expecting 3, 4, and 5 year olds to sit at tables and work on projects for over 30 minutes at a time. And when these poor kids couldn't sit still for that long she would yell at them. The administrator reported that our daughter was actually doing a good job of trying self regulate in a this very loud and chaotic environment, but even when she would try to go off by herself and sit quietly in a corner or under a table, the teaching staff would insist that she sit with the big loud group of kids. The administrator observed our daughter trying to play quietly by herself when a group of boys ran over and started hitting her with pillows which amped her up, but the teacher only yelled at our daughter for running with pillow not the boys who started the interaction. It was so bad that the school district administrator reached out to the executive team at BCEC to offer to provide some training on classroom management. The conclusion was that our daughter does not have autism, probably has ADHD, and the staff in the preschool classroom did not have the skills or desire to accomodate her. It was during this time that Tessa went on a two week vacation and I received an email at 5:30 PM on a Friday night from the CEO, Leah, who we had not interacted with AT ALL on this issue, that they were kicking my daughter out of the daycare and her last day would be the following Friday. Talk about a stressful time scrambling to find another daycare. The whole experience was so traumatic for my eldest daughter that she now refuses to speak Spanish.

Our…read moreson started last fall with strong separation anxiety, and has really blossomed from a shy one-year-old to a bubbly toddler who regularly signs, comes home with new vocabulary, and can't wait to show off his new habits (such as washing his hands and sitting on the potty unprompted)! Nearly all of the staff have been there for years, which I think says a lot about their quality as a center. I feel 100% comfortable leaving our son in their care.

The staff see the children as individuals and truly understand each child. My children have grown tremendously at Little Beginnings - physically, socially and academically. The concepts and experiences they are exposed to cannot be matched. From field trips, to bike and water days as well as daily exposure to math, science, and literacy, my kids are never bored. In fact, I can't arrive early to pick my kids up because they don't want to leave. The staff are consistent in they way they teach - the children know the expectations. My oldest will start kindergarten in the fall and I know he is well prepared.

Rainbow Childcare Center requires a two week notice. Which is reasonable. Only, when I experienced a hardship and was 1 day behind on the $1240 a month tuition that I had been paying since 2015, The Director Maria and Asst. Director Daniel (probably related to Maria and her mom Cheryl as well) dropped my child with no notice or just cause. Childishly sending my child's personal belongings in the mail. So I'd assume your discriminating against my child or that there is a personal vendetta, and or you had another child to take my child's spot that you could make more money off of. ??? Personally, i believe they dropped my child because I confronted issues that needed to be addressed by staff. Needless to say I contacted the proper authority and there is a full investigation. ***Keep looking parents*** I feel bad for their staff. The non-family ones that have to deal with the BS on a daily basis. Sad, great area: Unreliable, uneduated, manipulative conniving lead employee's. I could not have been more lucky than to have Joanne (the sitter provided to us) spend two days with my baby girl. She was capable, caring, conscientious, timely, responsive and intelligent. A wonderful care giver and I only wish I had more excuses to visit MSP so that we could visit with her again. Thank you a million times over for saving the day.

I was very impressed and would highly recommend the service.
