Everytime I walk in here, I wonder outloud why I don't come here more often! The friendly clerk immediately offered me 2 fabulous aperitifs to taste. The staff seemed super knowledgeable and passionate about wine. I felt right at home. They have a very inviting and spacious place to browse some well-curated wines and spirits from all over the globe. Unlike other stores it has a selection of wine and spirits that for the most part you don't see at the forefront of your typical liquor store (In some cases you might not see them at all). This is good for the simple fact that you can try something new. They have an awesome wine pairing chart on the back wall of the store which is pretty awesome (Be sure to check it out). Staff and owner are very knowledgeable about the products on the shelves and it shows because you can almost always ask them about anything they have. This is the kind of business that I'm proud to support. So I started working in the area back in 2016 and I think I walked by them during my time with my old company. I'm grateful to have stumbled upon this place. So, I'm drinking less with the pandemic (weird, right?) but I still like to have some better bottles of wine and things available for the rare socially distanced visitor that I get. During the summer and early fall, you could still buy in person. However, cases are currently rising in Brooklyn so maybe they'll go back to online-only. If they are online-only, they seem to be delivering any order size at the time of this post. In addition to a wide variety of wines from around the world, there are a number of speciality liquors and beers, as well. He was so polite and let me try the St. Lucian spiced rum. It was harsh for me at first, but when he added the pineapple juice--game changer. I will be purchasing in the future. The customer service here is bad enough to make me choose more often than not to walk 3 more blocks to a wine shop where the staff acknowledges me and doesn't make rude comments when I ask for recommendations. Most recently, I decided to give them another try in a pinch and when I called to ask about a late delivery i was hung up on. Please train your staff to offer even basic customer service. The people who work here are rude, including the owner who did not apologize or offer any discount after I had to go to the store to seek a reimbursement for a wine that was never delivered. read more

I love coming to this wine shop because they always keep my favorite wine in stock, i often leave with new wine tips, and sometimes I try the new bottles they have behind the register. The people who work there are also kind and helpful. While it's annoying that they don't carry the usual spirits that are available in any local liquor store, I always come here if I'm looking for wine as a gift. read more

It really saddens me that I have to put up a post like this. I came in today after a long day of work and wanted a nice refreshing bottle of wine but I was in for a rude awakening, literally. The minute I walked into the store, it was silent no greeting or acknowledgement. The thing is I've heard so many great reviews so I was eager to give it a try. Boy was they wrong, the cashier was very rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, I was asking for a sweet red wine, she mumbled something under her breath. Went in to grab some rum Sunday afternoon 2/17/19 around 12:30pm. Shop keeper was counting the drawer (which I totally get!) and would not look up to acknowledge my girlfriend and I. I stood there in front of her at the counter for about 2 mins..still wouldn't look up. Eventually she shrugged, and begrudgingly rang us up with an attitude. Sorry, but usually paying customers patronizing a small business is considered a good thing by shopkeepers..not an inconvenience. It's a very nice store, so clearly someone cares in there. I've tried to give Little Mo Wine a lot of chances because I'd love to have a great wine shop in the neighborhood, but I just continue to be disappointed every time I visit. Their wine selection never improves; it's frustrating to see some of the same sub-par options on the shelf every time I go. They boast about their large selection of $12 wines, but several of these should be $10 -- a price point that isn't even an option in this shop. To top it off, when I tried to buy spirits today I was told that the price on the shelf was wrong and the bottle I had chosen was $6 more. The sign was clear; the staff should've at least respected that price while serving me, then fixed it immediately. I'm sad to say that I've given up hope with this shop. read more

Why offer a delivery service if you can't deliver? I'm sure someone else knows better than I do, but if restaurants can manage to cook and deliver entire meals within 20-45 mins, why is it that after over 3 hours these people can't manage to deliver a product that is already bottled and prepared? The customer service is atrocious and the sheer incompetence of the people working there is mind boggling. In my entire life I can't recall ever dealing with someone as consistently rude as the man I dealt with over the phone. I had to tell him my name 7 times (I actually counted), and each time I said it, he gave me the runaround in the end his response to me was "We all have problems". Absolutely incredible. I'm never giving this place my business again and I'd also urge everyone else to take theirs elsewhere. read more

Hands down the best wine and liquor store in the area (and no bulletproof glass! Yay!). There's a large selection of affordable wines and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Personally I'm more of a spirits man myself and this place does not disappoint in that department. There's a very eclectic mix on their liquor shelves, ranging from little-known rums, to popular single malts, to cognacs, and even a couple of mezcals. I asked about a scotch I wasn't familiar with and was offered a taste before buying. As I said, very friendly staff. If you're looking for brands like Grey Goose, Hennessey, or Jose Cuervo, you're in the wrong place. There's a bulletproof glass liquor store further up nostrand if that's your preference (kinda boring if you ask me, but hey, whatever floats your boat). But if you're looking to try some great whiskeys you won't find at your average bar, club, or local store, you're in for a nice treat. read more
