There are great things to be said about Little Mo Wine & Spirits. Top notch service, unique selection and inviting ambiance is what makes this shop stand out in our neighborhood. From friendly greetings when you walk in to helpful suggestions and knowledgeable staff, every visit I have left with something new that I love. I believe the owner of the shop is usually who I've interacted with, and he is a patient, friendly guy that knows his stuff. Case in point: on one occasion I stopped in looking for an alternative to Ron Zacapa - he suggested Ron Diplomatico. He briefly told me about his experience with the rum, along with the flavor comparisons and then offered a sample. Sold! It is hands down my new favorite rum and I definitely wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Little Mo also offers delivery and even has an app to browse. One other great feature this shop has is a record keeping system. Did you buy a wine a few weeks ago that you loved but just can't remember the name? Great wine and liquor store with a more than expansive selection and for the most part, friendly staff. They've got the god stuff and they've got the average stuff depending on your wallet and taste so love the variety. The store also some wine tastings or events every now and then too so it is nice to stop in there if you can. They also have a membership program that you can join and although I haven't reaped the benefits of it, I'm sure there are some (lol). Mostly, just make sure you say you're a member any time you purchase something because they don't always ask. Have ordered via delivery app (don't), mini bar app (good, most of the time) and the store wine app (good, most of the time) and while the delivery has gone over or has been spotty (didn't go through a few times or took longer than an hour), it is decent but I still prefer to just go in. I've also been there trying to make their opening time (I swear, this is just when I'm hosting brunch), they've been closed so a bit of tardiness here and there. My go-to wine and liquor shop in the neighborhood. Excellent selection of reasonably-priced wines. Staff extremely helpful with making selections (because I don't really know that much about wine). Cool liquor selection. I go here when I want to get a nice bottle of liquor as a gift because they tend to have interesting small-batch liquors. Not the place to get a big jug of Georgi. Did I mention that they have an app and delivery? I don't do that much because I like the human touch, but might feel differently as winter comes on. read more

I love this place. The staff are super friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they often have stuff available to try, if you're into that. The delivery is also way convenient. My favorite part of LMW&S is their selection- they cover all the basics, and also have really awesome, unique, small-batch stuff. They put me on Virgil Kane Ginger Bourbon, which has changed my life, and the Kings County Distillery Bourbon is absolutely off the chain. Highly recommend. read more

Awesome little wine store in Prospect Lefferts. A well curated selection of reasonably priced wines. And a very nice selection of top shelf and artisanal liquors. Came in here after stopping at Alan's Bakery to pick up some homemade bread and I noticed that they were having a wine tasting. The sommelier was very nice and I noticed that they had this awesome sign on the back wall that recommends a wine to buy depending on the type of food you're eating for dinner. When I asked for specifics about one of the wines, the owner responded and then told the hostess "now I have a real question for you". Based on the way he disregarded my question, I will not be returning to this wine shop. Making your customers feel welcomed is business 101! read more

I've had good experiences with delivery from here before, and this time would not have been a big deal had they actually delivered my wine. I was told upon ordering online that the wait would be a little over an hour. Honestly very disappointed in their delivery system. This is the second time we have had this happen to us. We place and order and two hours later it's not here. The store is closed. Called twice this time to make sure we wouldn't get screwed over again but sure enough it happened again. The lady reassured us it had left and would get delivered. Very disappointed and angry.
