I went back and spoke to the owner. She was so dismissive! She said she didn't know what was in the cupcake and didn't recognize the hair because that's not her hair color. She was very argumentative and was trying to make it out like it was my hair. She even tried pulling it out and the hair was deeply embedded in the center of the cupcake. She had the nerve to ask with attitude, "So did you want your money back?" She should have said, "oh I'm so sorry! Let me give you a refund." Had she been genuinely apologetic, I would have been more understanding because sometimes things do happen, but no, she wanted to argue. Horrible customer service! I am in support of local businesses because I know it's not easy to run a business, but definitely won't support one where the owner is rude.

Finally, I ordered vanilla filling, but since this was my first time ever ordering a custom cake, I didn't know I needed to specify buttercream or bavarian cream, nor was it asked for clarificafion by the person taking my order. So the filling was also not what I expected. The funfetti cake tasted good, and the shells were beautiful and very realistic. 3 stars instead of 2 since my daughter still loved it and the design/color matched my request, but room for improvement and customer satisfaction.
