I worked directly with Alex and he was kind, patient, and extremely responsive throughout the whole process. He gave us the opportunity to do a small tasting of the flavors we were interested in getting for the cake and brought the vision of the cake to life perfectly. In addition to the 5-star service, the cake was equally delicious. We opted for a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and it exceeded our expectations. It was a hit at the party with many asking for another serving. The price point was more than reasonable and size of the cake was beyond what we imagined. I understand things happen, but reliability is part of the service. A refund doesn't fix leaving a customer without their confirmed order days before a large event. I ended up having to make everything myself. Beautiful work means very little if you can't rely on your confirmed order actually being fulfilled.

Finally, I ordered vanilla filling, but since this was my first time ever ordering a custom cake, I didn't know I needed to specify buttercream or bavarian cream, nor was it asked for clarificafion by the person taking my order. So the filling was also not what I expected. The funfetti cake tasted good, and the shells were beautiful and very realistic. 3 stars instead of 2 since my daughter still loved it and the design/color matched my request, but room for improvement and customer satisfaction.
