I stopped by on a slow day to have my bracelet assessed and the woman in the store was a little rude. I was the only customer in the store but wasn't greeted, had to initiate the conversation about what I needed, and didn't receive a smile. The reviews had mentioned friendliness and warmth from store employees, so I was a little taken aback. I was then quoted $30 to fix my bracelet, which was then bumped up to $60 because the chain was broken in two spots instead of one. I'm not very familiar with jewelry repair prices, but the price bump did seem a little steep. I still decided to move forward with the repair and was told I'd be contacted for pick-up in two weeks. Two weeks went by and I didn't receive a single text or call about progress or pick-up. I finally called myself and my bracelet was ready, I just hadn't been contacted. Quality of the repair seems fine, but given the experience, I probably will support another local jewelry business instead.
