Picturesque spot peaked on a ridge overlooking the Pennsylvania valley. Such a beautiful location with great wines available. Sommeliers were super helpful!

There is more to a winery than wine. An experience. An opportunity to relax, meet people. Enjoy the moments outside of the everyday. Little Ridge Winery is nestled in the hills of the Lehigh Valley and boasts epic views from atop the ridge. As you sit, enjoying local wines, you can enjoy live music, food trucks and an owner willing to share. This is a wonderful spot you won't want to miss.

Great hidden gem! Nice family, venue and the view is unmatched. Even better when they have live music and food trucks.

Ok it's new for 2021. Great wines for a variety of tastes with a great story. Sweet to dry, yes, I like drier wine but am pleasantly taken by their sweet wines. Just please keep this on the down low. Help them grow but not to big :-)!!

After you get off the train you take a school bus to Villa Milagro and wine tasting and wine lessons begin. Villa Milagro is a truly beautiful winery, we sat outside under a covered patio, we were offered 4 canapes to go with the 5 wines we tasted. It is a small and personal winery, I am from Southern Cali and lived in the vineyard portion of Temecula and even did private tasting at a couple of wineries I worked out (fantastic job if you love wines) anyway- the small class was fun and informative and the wines were very very nice- in fact we 10 bottles -Thank you to my hubby for practically carrying a case of wine around town LOL while I shopped - totally forgetting we didn't drive to the winery. I see mixed reviews here and I am not sure what people expect, but I was very pleased with the winery, the tasting and the wines I purchase- because I not only by wines I am fond o, but wines I know my friends and family will enjoy- because I know them and listen. They do not have a wine "club" so to speak but they do hold private events and honestly this is a beautiful winery to visit for a few hours, enjoy the view, have some food (bring basket) and enjoy the surroundings.

I found this place based off a review from instagram and thought it would a great outing on July 4…read more The train ride was approximately 35-minutes from the venue. Come to find out, the steam train did not have air conditioning . It was 95 degrees on this day. We were told that once off the train, a bus would take us up the hill to the winery. This turned out to be a regular school bus - again, with no air conditioning. Once we arrived, the grounds were beautiful however, standing in the sweltering heat while listening to the history of this vineyard went in vain. It was way too hot to stand outside to listen to a story after almost passing out. The "tour" was us sitting in a cool room listening to one of the owners talk about the process of wine making. We tasted four five different types of wine - all were mediocre at best. They were paired with small bites, also mediocre. Once the lecture was done, they tried to sell us everything under the table. We will not be coming here again. Out of all the vineyards in NJ, we picked the worst one. The kicker? They were selling cold beverages on the train - instead of providing it to passengers for free, at least a bottle of water.

They even had a live singer performing, which added a great vibe to the visit. We shared a pizza while doing our tasting, and it paired nicely with the wines. The wines were good overall, though not quite enough for us to buy a bottle. One of the wines seemed like it was starting to turn, but the rest were enjoyable. Despite that, we still had a lovely time. It's a cute stop if you're passing through and want to unwind with some music, food, and a laidback winery experience.

I made table reservations online for $20 (you get to choose a 3 hour block of time) -- and while it probably wasn't necessary the day we went, if the weather is warmer on a weekend, I'm guessing you'll need it! Minimal food available for purchase, but you can do tastings, flights, wine by the glass or bottles and are allowed to bring outside food and decorations (just not outside alcohol). Price point is reasonable, and we enjoyed a bottle of Cayuga white while overlooking the vines and fields. Peaceful venue, not fancy and kid friendly (which was a plus for us) and we appreciated being allowed to relax and enjoy the fresh air and wine! My husband enjoyed the red flight -- and while not the kind of wine that will knock your socks off, it's an unpretentious place and perfect for enjoying with loved ones.
