I'm a FTM and I'm picky and paranoid lol I checked the reviews here. I was not disappointed. The receptionist was super sweet and helpful. This was my LO first dentist visit and it went way better than I expected. I was concerned my daughter had an upper lip tie but the dentist assured me she didn't and explained everything in verbiage I understood. we didn't have to wait for long at all. I highly recommend this place for your kiddos. Only thing I might change is the lobby area could use some toys/activities or books while you wait. But if it's because they don't want children destroying the lobby I completely understand. read more

We've been coming here since the kids were born . We love it here & wouldn't go anywhere else plus the staff is friendly and they get too know you and your family. The dentist are great too they help relieve your child's pain and keep you updated with yearly visits and teeth cleaning they can also help with suggestions in what is needed done and what the best option is for your next steps. Great little kids dentistry. Fun waiting space for the kids. They were able to get my 3 kids in at the same time which is awesome. And the two who need a follow up also are in at the same time. They had fun stuff around the office for the kids to find while they waited for their turn. I didn't have to put them on a device, it was fine that they were exploring around (with reason of course). The asst. was friendly and kind with the kids. The Dr. Was thorough in examining and explaining any issues and options. I took my 10 yr old, 8 year old, and 2 year old. They were very efficient at seeing all three. Very clean, wiped everything down between kids. Researched the kids dental history. Made appropriate recommendations. Follow up appointments were easy to schedule. Took the two year old to a room with the tv in the ceiling to help him relax a little. I love the privacy here. I don't like when places have all the kids in a row in one big room. Kids deserve privacy too. And bonus, hey have an iPad on the wall with games installed so the kids have something to play while they wait. read more

The things that the only other review says are not true at all. I used to work there so this is not he said she said. The parents are not to come back when the child is having treatment, this is true, but it is only for the fact that the child needs to pay attention to the doctor and assistant only not the parent. Most of the time they are asleep. The nitrous comment is not true, assistants are certified and attend a class on administering nitrous and it is all monitored by the doctors as well. The only time a child's mouth may be helped when taking X-rays is to make sure the X-ray is taken once and the child doesn't have to keep taking them because they open before it is taken, but no one holds the mouth shut in a wrong way. The children are not strapped down to a table either. There are pappoos boards down that are used for the child, Doctor, and assistants safety in certain circumstances. The parent is made aware of this and asked for permission before it is used, they have to sign a consent for it. Little smiles was the best place for my son and I loved helping kids everyday. It is not a scary environment and parents should not be letting their fears rub off onto their children. They are amazing with kids and do great work. And not once would any of the employees drink and then go back to work. That would never happen, whoever wrote this was wrongfully informed. read more

I was thrilled to find Dr. Stefan Ionescu at Little Smiles Dentistry in Boerne, TX. I recently moved to the area and had no pediatric dentist for my 8 yr old boy. It embarrasses me, but I admit I had not taken Mourad to the dentist in a long time. His mouth was a mess! The office is fantastic and the staff made us feel welcome and right at home. What a great experience!! The ladies in the front were very welcoming and nice. We waited only a few minutes before we got called back. When the nurse called for my child they greeted us with a big smile and hello. They greeted me but kept conversation with my child which I thought made my child more comfortable. The nurse answered all my question and gave me great advise and tips for keeping my child's mouth healthy. Once the dentist came in she came in with a big smile and hello. She took her time explaining to me AND my child everything she was going to do. She showed me everything g to look for and what to expect later on down the line. The ladies here have their ways on getting kids to open considering mine won't even do it for me at home. Even when kid seems to be getting upset the nurses and staff stay calm and help calm kids down. This was a first for us and it was very pleasant.
