This has been my go-to favorite neighborhood sushi spot since I moved to the area. The quality of fish really standouts even against more expensive places. My most ordered item is the Deluxe Toro Don - you get so much fresh delicious fish for such a reasonable price. Usually, I'd say sushi leaves you wanting a bit more since the portions are small but I'm always full with this bowl. Another item I've ordered and loved is the Omakase 10 piece nigiri. Again, the quality and the freshness of the fish cannot be understated! I also recommend the Oshinko roll (Japanese daikon pickle). It's a lovely addition for some extra crunch. I've actually only ever done take out, but all the waitstaff I've interacted with have been lovely so I'm sure dining in would be a nice experience as well. I have always ordered takeout. Evey single order over five years has been 100% accurate. I love the hamchi and naughty kappa ( need rice/cucumber wrap) rolls. Had the Chirashi, mixed raw fish over sushi rice. I am Japanese American and eat a lot of Chirashi all over, this place needs to put more of an assortment of fish, it was mostly salmon, which is farmed and that is okay but it needs more of an assortment of fish and can use some vegetables like Slices of cucumber and Shitake mushrooms and a slice or two of tamago yaki/fresh Japanese omelette roll. Also the wasabi and ginger should be server to each person in separate dishes and not in one bowl . Not very hygienic. The owners are Chinese and real Japanese Sushi restaurants will not serve like that. Also why charge $2.00 for tea are they that cheap. read more

Chirashi was filling and enjoyed the gyudon, the broth was done very well. Large beers are well priced, fill about two glasses. Local neighborhood spot for sushi. We ordered the chirashi don, assorted tempura, and the spider & dragon rolls. We came on a Thursday night. There were a lot of takeout orders that were being juggled alongside dine-in orders, but we got our food pretty quickly. The miso soup was standard. The tempura was a bit oily, but the batter was light and crispy. My husband got the chirashi don which he said was a good portion and fresh (although he wished they explained which fish exactly was in it, as some were better than others). The rolls were also standard, a good rice to filling ratio and freshly fried soft shell crab/shrimp tempura. Seating is comfortable inside and we had our waters refilled constantly. I came at 3pm to try this restaurant but they didnt open till 4:30pm so I waited around for an hour or more till it was open. I ordered the Nigiri platter - 3 slices blue fin sashimi ,5 pieces of nigiri and a spicy tuna roll - and the miso marinated sea bass appetizer. I dont think the blue fin tuna sashimi was the best quality.... it has a strange dark red color rather than the red color of tuna. The Nigiri platter came with a salad (meh) and a miso soup (good, light and refreshing, not too salty). The nigiri was really good but not out of this world, seabass tasted great and very tender but it was a VERY small piece for $16.99. I couldn't wait to eat so I took a picture after I'd finished. Overall sushi was okay, I'm glad I came to try it cause it was on my list for a while, but its nothing out of this world. Wouldn't come again. read more

Lion King Roll - The roll is smaller than expected, but generous salmon. Spicy Crunchy - My favorite out of all the rolls. Generous portion. Doraemon Roll - Good. Again, I expected this to be larger, see size difference compared to the Spicy Crunchy. All the rolls are great and the classics such as the rainbow and dragon roll are our favorites. My less adventurous kids love the plain sushi roll (rice and seaweed) and plain udon (noodles and broth no green onions). Parking isn't easy close to the restaurant but I'd imagine a block away on Lake Street, Clement or Geary Street may bring you all luck. read more

I had to try this cute little spot that I stumbled upon while driving in the neighborhood. It seemed like a lot of couples were there on a date. Kinda narrow closely seated tables. I ordered: Miso soup, mango avocado roll, chicken karaage, vegetable tempura, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, lion king. Everything was delicious and the service was really friendly and warm. Now parking was a bit of a challenge but we found street parking around the block. Now I do have to point out 2 things, it's not a deal breaker but could definitely make better experience. 1) the place has strong warm fish smell as soon as you get in. I couldn't stand near the entrance for long. Once you're seated you get use to it. 2) some of the rolls were falling apart on picking up. Maybe the rice wasn't sticky enough. Not sure. Little Sushi Bar is my "go to" for sushi. For a year, I'd just order via Doordash and just recently started to pick up myself. The money I save picking up myself gets an order of Hamachi Nigiri :) My favorite item is the Sake Avocado roll. Two of these rolls filled with fresh salmon and avocado usually fills me up. The service for pickup is excellent! Last night, I noted how they do a lot of to go orders. The person coordinating the food and the tickets masterfully did this as it can get really confusing if not done correctly. The restaurant seems petite as there don't appear to be a lot of tables...Thus the appropriate "Little Sushi Bar" name. I look forward to returning ;) read more

Can be taken with a grain a salt maybe since it was delivery but I've had delivery from here before & didn't have issues. I received the order in less 35ish minutes since I ordered. The delivery was 12 minutes since I did priority so I'm not sure why the food felt off like it had been made awhile ago or was left next to warm food, I got the Richmond roll and the omakase nigiri with 6 pieces. It was good but def could have been better. The sushi was slightly below room temperature but it didn't smell off or anything so I decided to go ahead & eat it. I mean... I paid a ton... the temperature made it made it hard to taste the fish. The rice felt a tad hard too which didn't help. I wish that when ordering omakase the chefs didn't give me the same fish as the roll so that's a warning if you order omakase with rolls. I'm sure if I just went to the restaurant then everything would have been more delicious so that's why I say take it with a grain of salt due to delivery. It could have also been the delivery person? Maybe they put the food next to something warm. I would probably go here again if I went in person. Wouldn't do delivery from here again. read more

I was really excited to try this place since there's amazing reviews on yelp as well as high ratings on DoorDash. I had some extreme pregnancy cravings for sushi which is sooooo painstakingly heartbreaking since I can't have my beloved raw fish. I decided to try some cooked rolls that I've eaten and liked before. I ordered: Dragon roll (shrimp tempura/avo/eel), lion king roll (cali roll with baked salmon), and spider roll (fried soft shell crab). The food arrived promptly but didn't include any utensils/napkins as requested. I love a good Lion King roll (my fave is sushi house in Alameda) and this one really fell short for me. The salmon was extremely over baked and hard and there was no sauce to complement it. The dragon roll and spider roll was pretty tasty and I would definitely order those again if I come back. Nothing really stands out and makes this place a "must try" spot. I'll keep trying to find my go-to sushi spot in the bay! read more
