Amazing little hole in the wall parking is sparse unless you park in the back lot that is to the side of the restaurant and come in on the side entrance. When I say hole in the wall I mean it. It is cramped up the food is worth it. They have a lunch special that comes with an appetizer and a main dish. I think I have tried everything on the lunch special from the tum yum soup, veggie soup, dumpling, pad thai, drunken noodle to the curry dishes all are super fresh and pop with flavor. When the restaurant is crowded it can take sometime to get your food as they do not have lots of staff to wait on tables. They just put the phone on the counter and walk away hoping you will hang up. Been going here for years and love the drunken noodles. So spicy and fresh. Also recommend summer shrimp rolls and green curry. I have a feeling everything is good here. Just ordered Thai salad for the first time and it was a huge, fresh portion. It was a delivery order and I was worried that things had changed since COVID after reading another review that portions were smaller and quality lacking but not the case with my order at all!!! Cute little Thai restaurant in Darien- very cozy. This location was much better than the Greenwich one I've visited in the past. Not sure why, since they are technically the same restaurant in a different location. Will certainly be back! I've been ordering from here for many years. It's my go-to Thai takeout. That said, I recently placed a small phone order for pick up. Was told 30-35min. Ended up taking 60min. While standing, waiting for a simple order of pad-Thai, they continued to prioritize and crank out delivery orders in front of me. They could tell I was not please and included spring rolls, which I don't eat (no charge). Unfortunately they didn't quite get my order right either. Regardless, at best they can't manage the shot clock and at worst they won't prioritize your order relative to Uber Eats. Might change things up and start using the other Thai restaurant near me. Terribly RUDE DELIVERY DRIVER A couple weeks ago we got a delivery menu from LTK in our mailbox. We were very excited to see that LTK delivers to our neighborhood (we live 2.2 miles from LTK, right over the darien/Norwalk border.). When i called to order the lady on the phone said that it is no problem to come to our house as long as we order at least $20 worth of food. I ordered $40 of food and was told the driver would arrive in 40 minutes. 1 hour later the driver calls my cellphone to tell me that he does not want to come all the way to our house and that it is going to take "a long time." When he finally arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes i paid him (of course i even tipped the guy) and then he told me not to call again because he wont come out so far. I told him that he should take it up with his boss, not with me, and he got very angry storming off like an immature child. The point is that they put a damn menu in our mailbox, then told us over the phone that it is no problem and then the driver still mouthed off to me about ordering dinner, as if i am the one to blame for sending him 2.2 miles for a delivery. ITS 2.2 MILES!!!! I DONT SEE WHAT THE HECK THE PROBLEM WAS. their soups are great but the attitude of the driver cannot be overlooked. What a terrible experience. read more

Great food at very reasonable price. Lunch special (appetizer + entree) is $9 during the week. My kids love their green curry and I enjoy the drunken noodles. Decided to get lunch here after passing by this place several times. First impression, cozy ambiance....even though it can feel a bit tight when busy. It was a snowy day, I craved for a bowl of beef noodle soup and my man got Chili Lime Chicken. The broth was good, but being a Thai, I always have to add fish sauce, chili powder, lime juice to get it to my liking. I prefer soft fresh rice noodle, but I could tell that they used dried rice noodle which was a bit thick and chewy. Chili Lime Chicken was a tad on a salty and sweet side, a bit too intense in my opinion. But my partner enjoyed it. I always look for an authentic Thai restaurant, but nothing can beat Thai restaurants in Queens, NY so far. I didn't order traditional dish this time so I will definitely go back to try other dishes like Pad See Ew and curry. It's so far so good for now. read more

The lunch deal is really where Little Thai Kitchen shines. It used to be $9 before 4:00pm, now it's $10. You get a choice of an entree and an appetizer for $10. And the choice of entrees is pretty varied. They're smart, they have a lot of options for vegetarians, something that a lot of Thai restaurants lack. The Red Curry is my personal favorite. (Even though every curry is good.) Also, Drunken Noodles are awesome. If you ask, they give you an extra spice rack with a wide variety of options of how to spice things up. The portions are also very large. You could possibly share any of the noodles for two. I'm a regular here and recommend it highly. read more

It would've been worth the drive if the food was good... It was NOT. They got our order wrong - we were given beef pad Thai when we wanted chicken. The Thai lettuce wrap didn't come with lettuce. Ultimately, it took a little over an hour for the food to get there, and even though I had ordered soup, they did not include a spoon in the bag to eat it with. Overall, that portion was a disappointing experience. Now for the food: I ordered the Tom Yum Shrimp Soup ($5.95) and the Yellow Fried Rice with Chicken ($11.95). The soup was pretty tasty but not worth it for the price point and the single serving size. The fried rice was good but not great, and it was loaded with too many under-cooked onions. With the delivery charge and tip, my order total was ~$25. Overall, I would say for the quality as well as the quantity of food, the price isn't worth it. Some of the best thai food I've had. Staff is always friendly and helpful and their food is consistently (read that word in italic) good. You can't go wrong with the curry puffs with the homemade sauce. It's not your average frozen curry puff. I honestly dream about it and always always get it when I'm there.
