During COVID I've been super hesitant to order out but I was craving Thai food and came across this little hidden gem in Darien! It's just off the main road of Darien. They are taking lots of precautionary steps to ensure customers are not engaged in anything that's risky - the employees all had gloves on, masks on, the service was quick, efficient, and they were lovely people. I called ahead and order and when I got there they had every wrapped and ready to go. I loved that they even wrapped and carefully taped up the drinks I ordered to go so that there wouldn't be a possibility of spilling before getting home. I've had amazing Thai food and go into NYC a lot too so I didn't have high expectations for this it was just something to satisfy my cravings but WOAHH! It was delicious! The serving size was FANTASTIC! You're basically getting two servings per whatever you order. It was also reasonably priced. I got 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 main items, and it came out to be $30. Definitely will be going back! The pineapple rice is soooooo good! I also really loved their pad thai which is a classic. Overall amazing experience!!! Really surprised me! Have not eat'n here since they opened. Food is just okay Pad Thai Chicken smells like a can of dog food was poured on top? Sweet and Sour Shrimp had good flavor, the shrimp are skimpy. The Eggplant was tasty but better as a side not an entry. Service was terrible. They turned their backs to us while we were being seated. Mumbled when asked about entry selections. Horrible place to eat I would not recommend it at all. The waitress was very rude to me since the beginning. The food was too salty and not even mediocre. The shrimp eggrolls were so bland. There was hardly any shrimp in it and it tasted like it was a bland salad. Everyone at our table got super sick after eating there. Our leftovers even had hair or pubes in it. Not sure what it was but I do not recommend it unless you want to have horrible stomach issues for days. What a waste of money. Horrible customer service. In the last 7 years I've been here about 100 times. The women who work there are lovely, they always remember I like the food mild. The lunch special here is reasonable for an appetizer and entree. I have tried the cashew chicken, pad Thai, Thai salad, tom yum soup, Thai chili chicken, Crispy Tofu, Spring Rolls, dumplings, Drunken Noodles,Thai Iced Tea- love them all... But the coconut curries are my favorite, Red Curry the close runner up to the Mango Curry. This Thai Mango Curry with chicken is amazing- sweet, spicy, savory, it will be my last meal if I get a choice. I used to work nearby and visit weekly (sometimes more!), now I stop in occasionally on the weekends - the food never disappoints. If you like Thai food you must come here, and if you don't like Thai food YOU MUST COME HERE! It was the first place I ever had Thai food, and nothing else has even come close! read more

A graduation celebration was completely ruined within 10 minutes of sitting down in this place when the guy who claimed to be a manager who addressed himself as "nick" or "nate" yelled at 2 kids for taking a seat at table next to the one my party had reserved even though there was not another person in this side of the restaurant. Instead of requesting nicely for the children to move, this man screamed "you need to ask me before you do something." He then proceeded to have an attitude and basically told us he doesn't care if we get up and go to another restaurant and pretty much told us to do that. This place seems to have no sense of customer service as the so called "manager" created such a scene and the other employees just stood there making dirty looks. Love this place -- cozy atmosphere, authentic Thai, friendly service. I've admittedly only carried out, but people dining in always look content with everything. Massaman curry is one of the richest I've had in a while. I always order it extra spicy, and they deliver the goods each time. Quality ingredients, fresh, usually pretty quick as well -- what more can you ask for? I tend to go for lunch since the portion is still large enough to fill me up and the price is about half of what you'll pay for dinner. The only gripe one could have is that the prices are kind of high, but not totally out of line. Quality and fresh = higher prices, and I'm ok with that. read more

I really enjoyed the veggie and tofu entree I ordered here, I believe it was tofu, string beans, peppers and onions. We also ordered a shrimp dish that was topped with crunchy rice noodles. Just went there for a team lunch today. I started with the Tom Kar soup and it was delicious. Amazing flavors of coconut and yummy veggies. I had the green curry with shrimp for my main course andit was delicious as well. It had a nice kick to it but not too spicy where your mouth is on fire. I will be returning very soon. Was craving curry for lunch today. Looked online and LTK had a great lunch menu with very affordable prices. I call in an order to pickup of the Yellow Curry with Chicken. Great take out. Ok to eat there too. Right next to the Darien MTA stop, call 30 minutes ahead and pick it up when on your way home. Perfect. Good Thai - one of the best places to get a real meal in the area. Interior is a little sparse - mainly a take out joint, but you can definately have fun there. Back section is good for kids. Customer service has gone from this restaurant completely, I have frequented this place since it opened in 2006, I love the food here or should I say did. I called for a delivery and was told in no uncertain terms that deliveries are now within a 3 mile radius, I live 3.3 miles from the restaurant in Glenbrook and they sternly told me that if they broke the rules for me then they broke the rules for everyone. it was handled all wrong, I'm sorry to say it will be the last time I eat at this restaurant, the little Buddha in Stamford and any other location. I work in Darien and this is one of my (two) go-to lunch spots. For entrees, The spring roll and curry puff appetizers are excellent. For entrees, I rotate between the red curry, the cashew sauce, and the basil, with a variety of proteins. In hundreds of visits, I've had only one "OK" experience with either the food or the service. WORST THAI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I didn't know this place existed until my wife and I were stuck in Merritt traffic and were really hungry. We got off and found this place. Now, let me tell you, we LOVE thai food, and have it at least once to every other week. So this review is not just some sun of the mill rant just after having thai once and not know what real good thai food is like. We had the most basic order....nothing too crazy.... For starter we had the Crispy Calamari....HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I couldn't believe that what they served me was calamari!!!!!! First of all is was soooo oily, dripping even. Secondly, the calamari was so overcooked that the actually calamari was literally, and I mean literally ROCK HARD, turned into a chip! I kid you not, I could not poke the fork prongs into it. And when I did get it into my mouth, I felt like I was eating a calamari flavored JAW BREAKER!!!! Absolutely shameful! After the horrendous calamari, we had the Pad Thai. I had the beef, and my wife had the chicken........HOW CAN YOU MESS UP PAD THAI!!!!! I felt sick, as if I had food poisoning half way through eating it! I literally looked up at my wife and said, I think I am going to throw up. I am not sure if it was from the couple of pieces of calamari or from something like tainted beef. The sauce did not taste right and my wife's chicken was "okay" to her. All in all, this doesn't even deserve 1 star. If these other people are real below and giving true reviews, they either have never had thai food before, or are just lucky to have gotten something that was served properly. The food here is good and the space is pretty cool. The reason why I'm leaving 3 stars is because I came with a celiac guest. LTK claims to be good about gluten (this guest has eaten here before and loved it) but this time, we told the waitress about the gluten allergy and she seemed to understand.. only, no substitution was made and said guest got very ill after eating here. Unfortunately, she no longer wants to dine here because she can no longer trust LTK to mind her allergy. If you do not need to make allergy accommodations, it's a good place to eat. read more

Best and most authentic thai food I've had since moving to the area. The tom yum soup had the perfect amount of spice and ingredients were fresh. Drunken noodles is one of my favorite dishes and this place knows how to prepare them. I have a high tolerance for spice and this dish had me sweating after only a few bites.
