Best Sushi in Town is not a lie. To me this was my favorite! I think this was the freshest tasting fish I have had from the coast. I shall be returning. The staff was kind. I appreciated their service.

Pretty good place found with my Yelp app which I often do. Seems like a mom and pop place. I ordered the bento with beef teriyaki and vegetable croquettes which also includes miso soup, California roll, and salad. Interesting thing was that it did not include bowl of rice. The miso soup was good. The roll was good. The beef was tender and the teriyaki sauce was tasty. They gave me a weird sauce for the croquettes. It was like a ponzu type sauce not tonkatsu sauce so I ate them without sauce.

Had our monthly outing with friends last night and decided to try a new Sushi place! At first glance, not impressive. The space is small, a bit dated, and I think something might be wrong with the heat because there were quite a few space heaters, but stay tuned because there is a diamond in the rough. The service was slow and we had to remind the server of things often. Our food didn't all come out at once, but this poor girl was the only server working. She was alone for a full house on a Saturday night and was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. She was doing the best she could. She maintained a great attitude and was patient and kind so I can forgive the slow service and forgotten items. Now for the best part - the food! Yum! We love sushi and enjoy trying new places in town. This has to be in my top two. California roll - it was delicious, but not any more impressive than other California rolls. Seahawks - yum. This was so good and the crab stick on top was perfection! Big Crunch - this was probably our least favorite, but still SO good. 12th man - OMG GET IT! It's so good! This was by far our favorite. I will go back just for this roll. All-in-all the food was presented beautiful, tasted fresh, full of flavor, and was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning!

The sushi coming out looked great and I had a lot of time to notice as I waited 35 minutes for our take out (single) teriyaki chicken order. They weren't really busy, just a couple of tables in the dining room. Had I not already paid $20 (!) I would have left. The chicken was good, the rice was fine and the miso soup was ok. I was pretty sure the person in the kitchen only started to cook the rice when it was ordered. They probably make their own teriyaki sauce as it was fairly light in color. Good, though. I think their forte is probably sushi and not teriyaki. This won't be our favorite teriyaki place.

This place is close to me. This place is close to me. This place is close to me. UGHHH - I have been waiting for a sushi place to open up in the Garland district and I found me a keeper. I am in loveeeeee. I saw the Midori sign at random when driving along and SWERVED to try it. When I tell you swerved, I was a bit shocked myself, but this girl loves her sushi. I usually order from my phone but since this place had just opened I wanted to go in and get a menu for my fridge, duh. They were slow, of course with COVID but the lady behind the counter helping me was awesome.I went down my list of orders and then told her to surprise me and everything that we got was absolutely delicious. I actually did not realize how hungry I was because not a single picture. And not taking a photo means I don't actually remember all the rolls we got so stay tuned for an updated review because this place is solid gold and the service is on point.

Clean plate club! We had golden Cali, aloha, firecracker, 3 of a kind, and rainbow roll! Too good to take a photo first!

No only does this place have fantastic sushi but they also have a huge menu full of different options to choose from! More importantly to us their customer service went above and beyond, if it weren't for covid I know I'd become a regular here! We are SO happy to have you on Garland!

    Heavenly Tuna!
    Jen I.

We ordered take out from them during their first day opening. It's in our neighborhood and so glad to finally have a great sushi spot nearby! The Heavenly Tuna and Boyfriend roll were both delicious and the family that served us were so sweet. We'll be back to eat more!

The sushi was adequate and it over 30 minutes to have our order served to us. That said, the wait staff was friendly despite the wait.

Sooo glad I found some good Japanese food in Spokane! The restaurant isn't fancy looking but the food is great and that's what matters.

    Is the rice seasoned?

To the best of my knowledge it's simple white rice.

The food here is fantastic. My sashimi was fresh and beautiful, with big portions. My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!

We came in and put our name down, got a table after about 40 minute wait. We were seated at the sushi bar which we didn't mind, got to see the sushi being made! I ordered a drink, the coconut mojito. It was so delicious. Perfectly sweet, tart, tropical, I can come here just for the drinks because they are perfect every single time. We knew what sushi rolls we wanted to we got our personal favorite, the Las Vegas roll. Then got the Godzilla roll and the Fresh roll. All were so so good, my favorite is still the Las Vegas roll but the fresh roll was delicious with the fresh lemon on top! I will return again and again for the sushi and drinks, it's top tier! I will say the service was lacking. I understand it was very busy but we didn't get checked up on once and we ran out of water at the beginning of the meal and never got a refill on water. I also wanted to try a drink from the specials menu but opted not to because our waitress never came around so I can order anything else. Maybe next time. Food was outstanding but on a busy day, the service was very disappointing.

The appetizers are awful. We got the combination, the fried tofu was bland and flavorless, the mini egg rolls tasted heavily of dirty fry oil, the gyoza were the best of bunch; crispy and good flavor. The sauces were bottle but again that doesn't matter much to me. The sesame balls were once served with salted coconut cream but now with a whipped cream and served on a bed of cabbage(?) I had the Washington sushi roll. It was beautiful and honestly I've yet to have sushi here that isn't beautiful. The fish was fresh and the masago was crisp and salty. The pickled ginger is spicy and tangy and pairs perfectly with the creamy imitation crab filling. The sweet and sour chicken was saucy and sticky but not very crunchy. It's good but not great. The tom kam gai is a sour soup with slight coconut undertones. It contained noodles, carrots, cilantro, a mushroom, and chicken. The noodles were okay but the chicken was very dry which a bit crazy cause it's in a soup(?) The Lion King roll was interesting. I found the cream cheese mixture to be too much and paired with that fishy taste of the cooked salmon was just okay. The egg flour soup was thick and tasted heavily of veg. I liked it but wouldn't order it again. The thai teas are so perfect! Balanced perfectly between herbal and cream! I will mention though the fish and veg are really fresh along. I will also mention the presentation of the meals were gorgeous!
