Tell you what, not only are we paying over $1400 for a preK course (don't forget additional "add-on" charges for "art" or "stem"courses) but my child has been through more than 8 "teachers" this is within 6 month span. Consistency is null, care is null, spiritual/ Christian learning is absolutely null. I have watched good friends come and go in shapes of little humans to teachers. I am saddened to watch my son go there, knowing he hates it and says "momma here sad, here sad" every single morning. I am saddened by knowing that they change his diaper only TWICE in a whole 12 hour span and has this inhumane rash that eill not go away and every time i pick him up he has a diaper sagging filled with pee and poop tgat i have to ask them to change (they always pretend that they "just" changed him, really? Every time he just happens to have overflowing diaper?). I am saddened seeing my son come back to me hurt physically each and every single day, every day it's a new excuse and now they don't even tell me that he got hurt, i get the agony of finding that my child is hurt and neglected all on my own, nightmare of an idea. I'm saddened to see him starving and begging for food the second he sees me, shouldn't he be fed? This is a toddler that eats everything, not a picky eater at all. The new director is less caring than the old one and neither could retain the good staff members. When everyone runs away, then you know there's something going on. They WILL and DO neglect children (I've witnessed it), they WILL and DO speak harshly to children (I've seen it first hand), they WILL and DO rob you blind while impeding growth of children while taking on the label "CHRISTIAN" to make believe without even a single Christian behavior. Sad, supremely sad how we pay so much to watch our children hurt mentally, physical and with growth. I'm having to wait out the 2 weeks notice, it's agonizingly long.

Then when I come to pick up I believe her name is Alyssa? She is always so happy and always has a smile on her face. Mrs. Cain- Preemptively enrolled my children in this daycare even though my ex and I share 50/50 custody and everything went down hill from there. ( They are only profit driven at least at this location) The kids continue to tell me that there is never any soap refilled in the dispensers and therefore my children were coming home sick every other week because basic safety features were not followed. Moving forward- The accounting department knew we were 50/50 custody and I asked a number of times to type up two different accounts so my ex (The FBI Special Agent) and I can keep our billing different. Things got progressively worse here and we came to a head when Mrs. Cain didn't know my children's whereabouts, even though they ride the CLA busses. How is this safe?? I own and operate a small business myself and I would never care for my patients the way CLA care for their children and respective families. I am a doctor and I am appalled that Mrs. Cain did not follow the divorce decree from day 1 and went by the verbal consent of my ex Mr. FBI Special Agent. I cannot speak any worse of this facility. My girls were called into the office and nothing was ever documented if it made the center look bad. Rebecca went into the office, whispered with Chris, the owner, and returned stating : there were actually no spots available and my son was second on a waiting list. After voicing my concern about being told there was availability, Chris came and spoke with me promising to call me back about the availability, but that call never came. Instead, I received a generic email confirming my son had been placed on the waiting list. This experience was not just disappointing as a single mom -- it was deeply troubling as this is a faith based school. The whispering in the office, the sudden contradictions, and the lack of follow-through made it clear that honesty and transparency are not priorities at this school. I would strongly caution other parents to look elsewhere. If this is how they handle new families at the door, I shudder to think how issues are handled once a child is enrolled.

This rating does not reflect the front desk staff or the wonderful teachers who cared for my son…read more The one-star review is solely due to safety and transparency concerns, specifically the owner's unwillingness to make reasonable safety improvements despite multiple incidents. In December 2023, my son fell into a fence on the playground and sustained a severe injury to his forehead. This resulted in an expensive and traumatic emergency room visit, two layers of stitches (13 total), and a permanent scar. Responsibility was placed on teachers for failing to enforce "no-run zones." This is unreasonable; the playground is small, and children need to run. I do not fault the teachers in any way. Before making the difficult decision to remove our son, we attempted to work collaboratively with the owners to improve safety. We suggested modest, common-sense measures, including padding rough stone edges. Once the state investigated and determined the playground was technically compliant with regulations, it became clear the owners were unwilling to take any additional steps. We were explicitly told, "You have a choice where to send your son to school." Since that incident, I have learned of several other playground injuries, including at least one other child who, like my son, was left with a permanent scar. Hence, this prompted my review and so parents can make informed choices. I also want to note transparency issues that further eroded trust. When communicable illnesses occurred, communication was often limited to paper signs posted near classrooms; many parents missed them. The ProCare app, designed for timely communication, was not used. This was particularly frustrating during a lice outbreak. (Lice happens; I do not blame the school for that.) However, most parents learned about it through informal parent text chains rather than official communication. Thus, when deciding where to send your child to school, I would be sure to note the playground's size, stone edges, and lack of padding. I would also ask about the owners' resistance to implementing preventive measures after serious injuries occurred.
