This was my company's go to take out place. As I love Greek food, it was always a great day when my work would order catering from here. The food is pretty good. Lots of flavour. I've had most of the menu items and have been quite pleased. The dips are equally as delicious. They are located off of stony plain rd in a pretty busy area. This is a take out only establishment, there is no seating. The food is ready made and sitting in warmers so that you can quickly grab and go. The one guy working the till seemed friendly. I hope to visit again soon and buy more than just dips next time. read more

Really amazing Greek food for the value price. You can't eat in, so sadly thier home base is far away from us so that makes it a challenge. The food wasn't hot by time we got home. Otherwise no issues. We took the family chicken meal for 4. We added on Spanakopita, meatballs, and spicy feta cheese with pita. Food was fresh, tasty and a good portion for 4 without the add ons. The only thing I thought was that even though we recieved tzatziki we didn't get any pita with it. We only got pita because we ordered the extra spicy feta cheese dip. I think throwing in some pita with the tzatziki would make sense. Chicken was cooked well. It wasn't too dry and the rosemary tasted lovely. Everyone loved it. The Greek salad was delicous. Fresh produce. Big flavours. The spanakopita was fresh, not oily, and flavourful. The meatballs were a hit. Everyone loved them. The right size and flavourful. The spicy feta cheese was delicious and served great for a sandwich spread for the next week. The lemon potatoes were tasty but maybe a little overcooked (see photo). The two things we didn't love was the rice which seemed bland and overcooked. It was the last thing that we ended up eating The tzatziki which also was bland but not awful. It was fine but we have tasted better in other restaurants. I think they need to tweek thier rice recipe if they are going to make it a staple. This is a take out only. Decided to give this place a try after hearing about it on Tiktok. We ordered the Roasted Chicken Family deal which came with a whole chicken, rice, potatoes, greek salad and tzatziki. The food was very good. I love that they didn't hold back on the cheese in the greek salad and the tzatziki was delicious with the hint of dill. My only negative is that if your family can eat, this may not fill you up conpletely. For the price, I'd give it a 4/5 for how much I think its worth. This place is take out only so in the quick interactions I had with the staff, I'd say they were friendly. I'd go back to try other food items in the future! read more

Shout out to Little Village - A Tiny Greek Kitchen for making killer amazing #kefkedes these meatballs are packed with flavor, lamb, #bacon? Honestly, best meatballs in the city.. especially if you dunk them in their house made tzatziki redolent in dill and I dare you to try to only eat one piece of their roasted lemon potatos. Mmm. If you've ever had the food from Little Village food truck you've met owner/operator Theo Psalios - the guy inside the truck that always greets you with a smile on his face. Theo brought Little Village to life in 2012 and has been serving up his take on Greek dishes ever since. Operating out of a food truck means food service is dictated by the weather, but now that Theo has a storefront where you can get a taste of Little Village any time of the year. Located along the hustle and bustle of Stony Plain Road, Little Village occupies a small, brightly lit space in a strip mall. A few seats are available for those who wish to dine-in, but Little Village primarily offers ready-made meals for take out. As you walk in you're greeted by large chalkboards and two glass displays with food ready for consumption. While the offerings have some overlap with the food truck (like the lamb sandwich and lemon potatoes), there are also a variety of classic Greek offerings like moussaka, pasticchio, and dolmades. The chalkboards outline the grilled/rotisserie meat, sandwich, and salad options, while the glass display cases are stocked full of cold side dishes and hot Greek classics. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of ingredients and convenience, so I may just find myself here quite often given the close proximity to my home. I stopped by with a friend on opening day and I knew I couldn't leave without my favourites - the roasted lamb and lemon roasted potatoes - so we picked up a 1/3 Lamb Shoulder ($14.75). All the rotisserie meats are served with a side of potatoes and tzatziki, rounding out the meal. The lamb had a beautiful crust, was well seasoned, and was fall-off-the-bone tender. The potatoes were soft and packed full of flavour, and everything together was a killer combination. The Lamb Gyro ($10.50) was also on my radar, stuffed with roasted lamb, vegetables, and herbs. The pita held up well to the combination of ingredients and was fairly filling, but I found myself wanting a side with it. Last but not least we picked up a portion of Moussaka ($6.50/slice), which I lovingly refer to as lasagna's eggplant cousin. The Little Village Moussaka is loaded with eggplant, tomato, ground beef, and creamy bechamel sauce. The mild flavours blend well together, and makes for pretty good comfort food. The food truck will still be found at the 124 Street Grand Market and various events around the city in the summer months, but now that Little Village is open, lemon roasted potato lovers can get their fix year round. Trust me, they're that good. Stop by and grab a bite Tuesday through Saturday, 11am - 6pm (530pm on Saturdays!). read more

Picked up some food for some group home workers and decided to pick up some Greek ribs for ourselves. Amazing! I am tired of BBQ and these were a pleasant change. First time ordering from little village through skip the dishes. Our order seemed to have been cooked days ago, or was not fresh when packed in the box. We ordered the lamb sandwich, spanakopita, , keftedes, with pita and taziki. The keftedes which were little meatballs, they were so hard you couldn't bite into them, the lemon potatoes had no lemon and were drenched in oil, pic of potato box is attached. My lamb pita had one sliver of lamb. Very disappointing. read more

Little Village has been in our neighbourhood of Grovenor for some time but we never tried it despite a love of Greek Food. We finally were motivated by two things. First, the bizarre plan to destroy the Stoney Plain Road/149 St. area with an LRT overpass would also force Little Village to close or relocate, so we had to give it a try. Secondly, my wife wanted moussaka for her birthday but her birthday fell the day before a religious holiday involving a lot of food. Takeout moussaka would be a perfect fit. We scouted the Little Village a few days before the birthday to make sure that moussaka would be available and to see what the restaurant was all about. The owner helped us plan the entire menu with suggestions for the size of salad and when to order the moussaka to be sure of getting what we wanted (order early). The Little Village has a few places to eat in but they look grossly uncomfortable, especially for two elderly people with bad backs. On my wife's birthday, we called early, the owner remembered us and sounded happy to have our business - not an everyday experience for me when ordering takeout. We picked up our order at 5:30 pm as we prefer to eat late. Be warned that Little Village is in the same strip mall as some kind of fitness spa and the parking lot is full of badly parked urban luxury vehicles. Why is it that patrons of fitness places seem to lack parking skills? When we finally sat down to eat in the comfort of our own home, we were delighted by our dinner. The moussaka was 80% meat/eggplant/zucchini filling and 20% bechamel topping. Our previous moussaka was in an very expensive restaurant and the proportions here reversed. The lemon potatoes were made from small, tasty spuds with the skin left on, not a peeled boiled tasteless lump that often graces the table of Greek restaurants. The Greek Salad was superb, perhaps needing a few more kalamata olives. but that's a matter of taste. The baklava is like dying and going to Thessalonika, full of walnuts and sweet enough to rot your teeth with two mouthfuls. Be warned that portions are generous, also a rarity when the good is this good. OK, there's no belly dancer, even if you eat in. But in the grand scheme of things, that saves money as there's no need to put folding money in the dancer's belt. We will go back again as, since our meal, it seems as if the city has given up on destroying our part of the city. read more

They catered our backyard wedding rehearsal dinner and everyone raved about the food! Very reasonably priced, it was delivered on time, all the food was fresh and delicious! The Greek potatoes were absolutely fantastic! On a different occasion, they catered a work lunch and we had the same exact great experience, and the food tasted consistently great.
