Spent nearly $5,000 dollars at another location in Poughkeepsie that happened to close. We came to palisades due to not having a choice. The experience at the new store is terrible. Since we didn't spend money with one of the associates we're barely on the radar for their attention. We're here for a cleaning and the store is still not open after nearly 20 minutes. My wife and I got our wedding bands again and will never get anything from else from here. We are under warranty and a week after the wedding, a stone already came off from her band. We came in to get it fixed and two workers were there and none of them even acknowledged we were there. We understood they were with customers, but a cursory "Sorry for the wait" or "Just a second" as we stood there for half an hour would have been appreciated. Then when we finally got their attention and said that we just wanted to drop off a ring for repairs, they shortly just said "Ok well you have to wait". No asking what happened or again any "We'll be right with you". They didn't even look up at us to respond to us. When we finally got to talk to them, they immediately commented on my wife's nice designer bag and her engagement ring (which we had gotten somewhere else), and only after seeing that did they become helpful. They initially dismissed us because we look young and they didn't take us seriously, but when they saw something that they felt meant we had some money, they then decided to be accommodating to us. That's not the kind of place I want to go to. And unless our new wedding bands break again and we're forced to use the warranty we bought from them, I will never even set foot in that store ever again. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! Very unprofessional. The first time I went it took the sales associate a zillion hours to get my paperwork ready. She printed a zillion receipts and put them in paper booklets, which is so old fashion! No wonder why almost all their stores closed down. I get a phone call and they can't find my lifetime guarantee paperwork on my engagement ring. Mind you I already got this all settled the first time I went in. The sales rep calls me asking me for paperwork to prove that I had a lifetime. At this point I'm upset. I ask for the manager and she was no help. I will never ever go to this store again! My fiance purchased our wedding bands from Littman's about a month ago. During our first trip there, we met with Paula who was extremely helpful and suggested we put our rings on layaway and return over Superbowl weekend to pay the rest of the amount in order to utilize their 49% off sale. When we returned, Paula was not there so we worked with a different woman (I believe, Joan was her name). Again, things went well and we were able to take home my fiance's band the same day as his was already true to size. However, we had to leave mine there to get re-sized. I was told that I would receive a phone call a week later to pick it up. Fast forward to three weeks later and I hadn't heard from anyone so I followed up to see if it was available for pick up. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was pretty rude and laughed when in I explained that I had never heard from anyone. I went yesterday to pick it up at 10:45am, meaning the store was empty. There was one woman working in the front, Naika. She was extremely unfriendly and when I told her I was here to pick up my wedding band she pulled out a mini bag with my ring in it and handed it to me. I stood there for a minute to make sure it was sized correctly and then she proceeded to said "Thats it, you can go now." I explained to her that this was for my wedding and asked if I could have a box to put it in like my fiances was when we purchased his. She gave me a blank stare, then placed an empty box in front of me. Seriously? These rings are supposed to be for the best day of my life, could you at least act like you care? It was very unprofessional to hand someone a $3000 diamond wedding band in something that looked like a dime-bag and then to not even put it in the box for me after asking? I'm not high-maintenance but when we spend a small fortune at your jewelers I expect things to be handled with a little more care. If I could, I would give them negative 50 starts. My fiance and I went to Littman Jewelers at West Nyack. We had a loose diamond (bought from other vendor) and setting bought from littman. I thought trying to put together the diamond and the setting was simple and short process. It wasn't!! We end up having to go to the store more than 7-8 times to negotiate the pricing for the installation, proper diamond holder and the re-sizing. My fiance spoke to Kym, we believe she is manager or head of the store, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. During our first visit, we did not have the diamond and the setting to show them. So second time we went there, she quoted us $300 for installation, proper diamond holder, and re-sizing. Few weeks later, after discussing with my fiance, we decided to proceed with the order. The following weekend when we visited the store, Kym was not there, we end up speaking to Paula, who was extremely nice, and friendly. Upon arrival we inform Paula we visited the store few times before, and would like to proceed with order. With the special promotion going on at that time, we were quoted less than what Kym had quoted us few weeks back. We paid, and got our receipt. Next day, my fiance received a voicemail from Kym, sounded not too nice, stating '..your order has been cancelled, you did not tell my colleague you spoke to me before, you came when I'm not there, the price you paid was not correct..." We were both shocked when we heard the voicemail. It sound like a threat, and she really wanted the commission!! My fiance had everything planned and needed the ring completed like yesterday. So he showed up the next day trying to figure out the situation, FYI- we live 40 mins away from the store. Kym wasn't there again, and we spoke to Paula, she couldn't tell why Kym had left us the voicemail and the order was still in process, it was not cancelled. As confused as this sound, we didn't know what to do but was told to come back on Saturday when Kym will be there. My fiance showed up on Sat (AGAIN!!), Kym dined everything she had said on the voicemail, and insist to charge us $300 regardless of any discount. She insist we should come when she is in the store. In my mind I was thinking how inconsiderate she is. Our BIG DAY need to work around HER schedule? Plus we dont live next door to the mall, and do you really expect us to only go to the store when you are there. If you pay for our salary, sure, we will be there whenever you want us to be there. We were very much fed up with all the drama and attitude from Kym, and decided to cancelled the order. Its either we pay the $300 or cancelled our order. No room for trying to figure out why the difference. Initially we wanted to report this unprofessional behavior and attitude during our visits to Littman's management or headquarter. We have the voicemail to proof her threatening to cancel our order! We decided not to proceed with this action, because we had enough of the unprofessional and rude service and threat. I brought my engagement ring here to be resized this past week. I left my ring at the store and the sales associate told me she would call me in a few hours after speaking to the jeweler. I did not hear from them until 4 days later. Once my ring was finally ready to be picked up, it was too small!! When I asked to see the ring on the sizing took to be sure it's the size I had asked for, the woman rudely refused to show me and rushed me out. My husband purchased my engagement ring from here. This was 6 years ago - within these 6 years, my engagement ring lost numerous small diamonds, had a cracked bad three times and the center stone fell out twice. Littman's way to "fix' the situation was allowing me to get a new ring through the Lifetime Warranty we purchased. With that being said, my ring was no longer available, we had to pay the difference of the pricing for the new ring AND re-purchase the Lifetime Warranty at a higher rate. Within ONE WEEK of getting my new ring, a diamond fell out AGAIN. Beyond frustrated with this company's poor quality of jewelry - we called back and asked for a refund. They REFUSED to give it to us and told us they would give us store credit instead and/or fix the ring. They have quickly caused there to be no sentimental value any longer with my ring as it is nothing but CRAP. An expensive lesson learned, we will NEVER buy any jewelry whatsover from this company. ESPECIALLY because they've done nothing to rectify the situation besides take more of my money. read more
