Fortunately, the food was delicious and service was impeccable. We ordered 4 entrées to share and enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Half-Baked Chicken. The skin was so crispy and the chicken so tender. The Braised Short Rib was also really good and the crispy Brussels sprouts that come with it were the perfect amount of crispy. The other dishes we ordered were good too. We finished everything down to the last grain of rice. The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

It's got this green-and-white striped awning and dark windows with all kinds of stuff painted on them, no doubt an authentic Irish pub and Ithink ive been here before. Most places like that are full of weirdos, but to be honest, this place was filled with genuine cheer and laughter. It's pretty dark and dim inside especiallyas you near the back, just follow the big wooden bar and a bunch of TVs playing games begin to appear, which usually drives me crazy, but the vibe was equally entertaining to the rear. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which was frozen, it actually hit the spot, we there watching women's college softball which depressed me. She, with her single skowly sipped diet coke as i was having three pints of Guinness and a couple shots of Jameson, that made my sorta happy.. The Guinness was poured, or shall i say "built" just right, proper at the least, creamy on top thick in the middle. It's the kind of spot where nobody bothers you with stupid small talk while you're drinking, which I kind of appreciated. I'm not crazy about most bars, but if you're on Jamaica Ave and need a quiet drink, it's darn good. I'll definitely go back.

We tried to make reservations for 6:30pm, but it gave us an error message that the time had been taken already, so I was assuming that the restaurant would be packed, but it was the opposite when we walked in. There were only two other people there. So I would definitely look into their reservations system. For drinks, I went for the mango margarita. 10/10 recommend the drinks. My margarita was delicious. their cocktail menu looks super fun, they have drinks that come out in little bathtubs and cute presentations. For food, we shared the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was so good! super fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I got the chicken al pastor tacos (loved the flavors, especially the avocado crema) and he ordered the carne asada tacos, which were also packed with flavor. Portion-wise, for the price, you get three tacos, so it felt very reasonable. The tacos were definitely a hit for both of us. The only small downside was the service towards the end. everything started out great, but once we were done, it took a while to actually get the check and pay. Kinda funny how it took longer to leave than it did to get served. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule..they definitely don't rush you out. Overall great vibes, great food, great drinks. I would absolutely come back!

Options were very limited so that was disappointing, we opted for the 1/2 price bottles of wine (also limited, 2 options). The guacamole & mussels were very good, garlic shrimp were underwhelming. Tuna salad was huge, needed sauce or a better dressing. Dessert was disappointing (molten cake was cold, churros needed to be cooked more). Nice spot for a drink & app or a date but for dinner I'll stick to Tu Casa

The food was AMAZING the first time around, so I was really hoping they would deliver again. And when it came to the food--they absolutely did! We ordered ceviche, tostones with guacamole, drinks, and our entrées. Everything was coming out and we were enjoying ourselves. I went to the restroom--which, by the way, was very clean--and when I returned to the table, I happ5ened to look up in the corner. That's when I noticed the restaurant had a PENDING letter grade. Now I'm concerned. I asked our server if she could find out from the manager why the grade was pending. She came back and told us it was because of a leak, but they couldn't remember the inspection score. That answer didn't completely sit well with me, so you know what happened next... I started digging. The last time I visited, they had an A, so seeing "Grade Pending" definitely caught my attention. When I looked into the restaurant's inspection history, I couldn't find the specific reason for the current pending grade, but I did see that an earlier inspection in May 2025 resulted in a B. I understand that even a restaurant with an A can have violations or issues, and a pending grade doesn't automatically tell you what the problem is. But when I'm eating somewhere, I definitely want to know what's going on. Our server was super sweet and reassuring, and the restaurant had plenty of customers dining there. The restroom was also extremely clean, so I'm hoping that same level of cleanliness carries into the kitchen. And trust me--I'll be driving by next week to see what letter is in that window! I'm rooting for an A! Now let's get back to that FOOD because they deserve their credit. The flavors were so good. My steak came out medium-rare exactly the way I ordered it, the asparagus was delicious, and that GUACAMOLE?! EVERYTHING! The food here really is excellent. The servers have been welcoming, attentive and sweet during both of my visits, and I was especially happy that I was able to enjoy my meal without having an allergic reaction. That's why I really need Kantu to keep it together! The food is too good, the service is too welcoming, and I'd love to see more people in the area experience their excellent Peruvian cuisine. MIXED BAG THIS VERDICT: MIXED FOOD: KISSES! Flavor: Service: Cleanliness I personally observed: Pending Grade: I'm watching... The food gets my kiss of approval , but that pending grade keeps this review firmly in the MIXED category for now. Kantu, I'm rooting for you. Now let's get that A back in the window!
