Always impress me.Food is loaded for a great price for lunch ... Easy delivery fast and quality food

PuPu Platter - all bland and not worth getting

I'm rounding the Chinese restaurants again and once again Liu's falls short. I got a pint of fried rice - boring, flavorless. I got a PuPu platter so I could try a bunch of apps.... I didn't like the flavor of the spare ribs it was strange, beef on a stick was bland, shrimp toast was meh, cheese wantons flavorless, an order of fried wontons were not crispy they are like plastic-y and flavorless. I got the tuna pizza and it was legit like a canned cat food lol but it was the overall lack of flavor in the dish that was the worst part. I spent $50 to try a bunch of food so you don't have to!

    Pitiful "sushi"

$14.00 for literally 4 pieces of "Shoprite sushi" a roll is a roll these were NOT rolls! What a rip off! Never again! Full rolls are much better and less expensive from Lo's Garden! Real sushi! Go to Lo's Garden, Liu's is awful!

Great Sushi at Route 88! Just opened, 50%off! Love it!

I recently tried their new spring menu and everything hit. Apps: Crabby gabby sushi roll -- my fave at a B2 restaurant and I loved it here as well! Bruschetta burrata -- abundant and the burrata was soo fresh. Baked Mac and cheese with lobster -- the creamiest mac and cheese and big chunks of meaty lobster. Scarpiello wings -- sticky and savory perfection. Could've made a made off this alone! Entrees: Pan seared scallops with polenta -- the scallops were nice and tender and seared very nicely. Linguine & clams with red sauce -- very generous with the clams and the sauce was flavored very well. Cheesesteak -- tender, juicy, huge portion and served on amazing bread. Deliciously cut fries too. Drinks: Berry loca margarita -- not even a big marg person and I loved this. Spring fling sangria -- my friend downed hers! Dessert: Chocolate lava cake -- oozing with chocolate. Sooo delicious. Can't skip this! Service was awesome -- our waiters were so friendly and helpful. I like the cozy and rustic vibes of the restaurant, makes it a welcoming spot. Definitely will be back.

B2 Bistro+Bar was close to a restaurant we finally agreed on, but was closed that Sunday. I am actually happy it was closed because B2 Bistro+Bar was exactly what we needed that day. I had a Snow Globe Martini ($16) which impressed me with edible glitter (yes I am a chid at heart). We shared the Bruschetta Burrata ($20), which was good but they gave us only 4 small slices of toasts. My friend and I both thought they should have given 6 minimum, especially because 2 of them had huge hole in the middle so did it even count? lol For main I ordered a Prime Burger ($22) and my friend a Creamy Cajun Alfredo with Shrimp ($38). We genuinely loved our food. The space was large and spaced out. There was a 360 bar in the middle of the space. Nicely decorated for valentines day with strings of hearts falling from the ceiling/ lights. When we are in the area again - I think I would like to come back and try other things on the menu.

Sometimes you really just have to stick with the basics. The seafood here was fresh, which made all the difference. The seafood boil was flavorful and actually tasted like it was made right, not just sitting out. And the crabs? Fresh, seasoned well, and worth going back up for more. Everything felt consistent and satisfying, not overly fancy, just good food done right. After trying newer buffet spots that try to do too much, this reminded me that simple, fresh, and well-prepared always wins. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I want a reliable, no-miss buffet experience.

I admittedly tried every type of sushi roll and came away liking them all. As far as a fish buffet, Flaming Grill is surprisingly adequate and fills in a void that's missing post-Covid. I believe that they're one of the last traditional buffets left in the state, and possibly even on the East Coast. However, the meat options are very much so hit-or-miss. I still find the beef brisket and any types of beef dishes to be unpalatable. The Orange Chicken-type dishes also seem to be packaged, processed and probably reheated. The chicken wings have a yellow sheen, but they've been like this every time I've visited so it's just the product they're using. They do have a hibachi grill in the back, which is their saving grace as they will prepare all types of meats fresh for patrons. The desserts are all okay too, with the amount of fresh fruit available being another saving grace. I found the soft-serve ice cream out of the machine in the back to be unpalatable, but they also have packaged ice creams available. Service is fine, clearing dishes occasionally and asking about refills, and the atmosphere is slightly dingy but still modern enough for the buffet. I'm surprised at how much foot traffic they get, but I suppose that's the only way to sustain a buffet especially at a sub-$20 price point. I'm grateful to have Flaming Grlll as an option for a solid buffet in town, and it can be possible to put together a couple of relatively healthy plates.

So when we needed a dinner location in the Brick, I figured we would try this location. Upon my early arrival, I was seated in the west facing room with ample natural light. There was only one other table of "early birds" nearby and they were loud but entertaining. Our waitress greeted me and brought some water and an ice bucket. I perused the menu while waiting for my friends. To my delight, this place is MUCH larger than Manahawkin. There are at least three rooms. Regardless, by the time we left, it was very busy. reservations are highly recommended. When my friends arrived, our waitress reviewed the menu additions. We decided on the oysters, octopus, arugula salad and the cod special. Everything was excellent. Service and pace were perfect. Plates promptly cleared, bread replentished. We shared a tiramisu and I had a double expresso. We will definitely return. I will take some photos on my next visit.

We come every Christmas Day and then a couple times throughout the year (for the past 12 years or so). Every time we enter, they greet us with a hello, seat us at the same table each time, and they even remember our past orders--we practically don't even need to tell them what we want. This amazes me considering we only come a few times each year. The food is always delicious, and I love that they still serve vegetable dumplings here since I'm hard-pressed to find them anywhere else.

I had hoped Dim Sum Restaurant would be better than what the average rating on yelp had graded it, but upon arrival into the parking lot, i saw two cars parked. I jokingly said 1 was the chef and the other was the host... Unfortunately I was right. Not a single soul was frequenting the establishment for lunch time, another red flag in my head. The dreary interior I am used to. I'll visit a hole in the wall and eat the food no questions asked. However when the tables are sticky, the menus leave a nasty dirty grease film on your fingers, that should be another tell tale sign to run. The prices were insane. each dim sum dish started at around $4.95 each. Even the most expensive Dim sum eateries, they run around $2.95 to $4.50 for a large dim sum dish. We ordered the classics Sui Mai, Har Kow, Black bean spare ribs, some fried dumplings, and I got a chicken corn egg drop soup. The food was terrible. Har Kow was probably from the multipack I can buy at the local chinese supermarket, the big 20 package that you get from the freezer. The Siu Mai came 3 per order.. not 4... Black bean spare ribs were 100% frozen, and you could see the congealed cooked blood in the sauce and on the spare ribs. Egg drop soup had an ungodly amount of yellow food coloring in it. The only saving grace was the Fried Dumplings. while small in size, they were tasty and edible. All in all, even if you're desperate for chinese dim sum. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.
