Lunch special - Breaded Pork Chop, Yucca Frita and a Piña Colada
    Myrna R.

I was pleasantly surprised in the great service and very tasty Cuban food in the beach area! Great corner location with a dining area and an outside more tropical area. Located on Collins Avenue near the beach side. The service was very attentive and the food was spectacular! They have a vast menu and good options for their lunch specials. I opted for the breaded pork chop. I will definitely be back, street parking available only , this would be the only downfall. After all it is the beach.

Affordable. Convenient. Fast service. Great ambiance. I got to try just a colada here and it was as authentic as it can be. Staff is super friendly with a great ambience. I am definitely visiting again, next time for lunch. TIP: conveniently located by the beach. Perfect place for a caffeine fix or a quick bite. They even serve beers here. I hope you find this review helpful.

Serving authentic Cuban classics for over 15 years right near the beach. We went on a weekday after the beach for dinner and the food was amazing. The empanadas de ropa vieja are a MUST. Service was excellent in a super casual vibe. I'd eat here daily if I lived nearby. Highly recommend.

Most underrated restaurant in North Beach. Incredible INCREDIBLE food. This place and their food transfers you straight to Cuba. Every bite packs a punch of flavor. This is the most authentic Cuban food stateside. This is my #1 recommendation in North Beach Miami. Great price point. Incredible menu. Classic great ambiance. This restaurant is getting more popular though, so I'd recommend a reservations on weekend nights

Christmas night feast. Beautiful homey ambiance, lovely service from our cheery server. Everything was delicious. I had shredded streak with onions and unbelievably delicious rice and beans (moros). My father in law had a whole fish that he ate like it was his last meal. Shrimp in garlic sauce was also yummy. Coconut flan topped off a wonderful meal.

Came here on accident because it was located right next to La Ventana and we thought it was the same place since the tables outside seemed to be located infront of both places. Before we even got seated, i was admiring the decor. Absolutely beautiful! The whole place was so mesmerizing, i loved it. We decided to sit outside by the large canvas and ordered the Bistec Empanizado and the Ropa Vieja with moro, mashed yuca, and white rice and beans. They were incredible to say the least. They were large portions, and tasted fresh. This was my first time having cuban food in a long long time and i forgot how good it was so thank you Sazon for reminding me. I tried ordering in very broken spanish but i tried. I also pointed at the things i wanted as i spoke to make sure not to give our server, Melina, a hard time lol. She was wonderful. She was smiling and was so sweet and our food arrived pretty quickly. Will most definitely be coming back here!

I stopped in for a casual Cuban meal and had a good experience overall. Service was fast, which is always appreciated. The menu is very classic. No surprises, just the usual Cuban staples done competently. I had the lechon asado. It was clearly prepared ahead of time, but still good and flavorful. Not something I would go out of my way for, but a solid choice. The wine list was subpar, so I would skip that, but the cocktail menu was much better and the right call here. Inside, Sazon has a nice Cuban Miami vibe. Lively, comfortable, and what you expect from a place like this. My waitress was better than average. Friendly, attentive, and kept things moving at a good pace. The highlight of the meal was the tres leches cake. Easily the best one I have had in a while. This was a three and a half star experience based on the food alone, but between the fast service, an outstanding waitress, and an excellent dessert, I am rounding up to four stars.

One of our fav....but today it took them more than 30 mins to serve our food....food was delish as always!!! Service was good but it was the kitchen that was super extra slow...ambience cool lots of tourist that seemed to enjoy this place. Now they have a full bar...which is great...today I didn't have a cocktail but next time will for sure!!!

Great, flavorful sandwich and very protein packed. I also loved the style of bread they used . it was perfectly pressed and crispy. Both sandwiches came with a side of chips, which was a nice touch . We ordered it to go and everything held up really well. The location is within walking distance from the beach it's a perfect bite to grab if your looking for something nearby 75th & Collin's .

Lovely dinner! There's a lot of Cuban places to choose from but this place is the best of every quality. Beautiful restaurant, great location, nice indoor and outdoor seating. Good prices and portions. Papa rellena was great. I liked the tomato tipping sauce it came with. Ceviche tasted great, but was a very small portion and I wish they cut up the fish into small, smaller bite-size pieces. Both of the main entrées came with two sides so we got morro(which was just a tad dry, but still great) and maduros(fantastic my doodles. They were cooked at the perfect time and they were really big.) I felt like the Churrasco needed a little more flavor, but I added sea salt to it, so it made it better. Good cook on the medium rare. Also it was enormous. The lechon was great. The onions were also beautifully cooked. There was a lovely acidicity to the Lechon. Flan was amazing as well! Perfect way to end the meal. Thank you to our server, Leo!

This busy and bumping Cuban restaurant has a great location directly on collins. people were lined up to dine so Hubby and i asked to be seated at the bar no line no wait. it's a smaller bar so it only accommodates like five people and could be a little bit tight. the ambience is cute and quaint and could be a really great date spot. I we ordered a few appetizers and the pork was so juicy and tender. I am a yuca lover so of course i had to try and they were delicious. the sauce it came with was so good i could have put it on everything. my vaca Frita was amazing and so was my husband's. meal dish The only thing I would tell you is that it's two sides and some restaurants include black beans and rice as one side and you could get another so make sure you read the menu. I didn't know when I ordered the extra sweet plantains, but they were just what I needed to offset the salty so I would definitely tell you to check out this restaurant.

The ambiance here is so pretty, and the Cuban food is absolutely delicious. The yuca, congri, and pork were perfectly seasoned--no extra salt or lime needed! It's the perfect spot for a bite after the beach. You'll leave full, but already wanting more. Plus, the lunch specials are delicious and very well-priced. They even have a photo for outside seating.

This is a staple for authentic Cuban food in Miami. Not the touristy stuff, but the real deal my friends! I was greeted by warm and welcoming customer service during the bustling dinner hours, and seated promptly right away. To get started I ordered delicious beef empanadas. They came with a delicious salsa verde, and the empanadas hit the soul with each warm and flavorful bite!!! You could taste the fragrant seasonings as well! For my main course, I ordered ropa vieja with morros (beans combined with rice) and fried sweet plantains. Ropa vieja is a delicious shredded beef that is covered in a red tomato sauce. The ropa vieja was pure comfort! From the beef that melted in your mouth, to the sweet and savory plantains, to the amazing rice and beans (morros) that added a nice touch to it all. For dessert, I had tres leches cake and that was a home-run for me! Savory and delectable goodness! This place lives up to it's reputation! Check it out! Cheers!

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. The roasted pork was tender, juicy, and packed with savory garlic-forward flavor. The crispy edges added a nice contrast in texture, and the mojo-style seasoning brought everything together with a bright, citrusy punch. It was comforting, flavorful, and paired really well with the traditional sides. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the dining experience smooth even during a busy time. The vibe is lively and colorful, with a nostalgic Cuban café atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel festive and welcoming. It's a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone looking to enjoy classic Cuban comfort food. Overall, a really solid Cuban meal with bold flavors and generous portions. I'd come back to try more of their traditional dishes and cocktails.

I'm giving 3 stars for the service. Our server was nice, but there were a few things I wasn't too happy about. We were offered still or sparking water, so I said "still". I should've asked for tap water but it didn't cross my mind. The water was $12 which was a surprise since it was almost the price of the food! When I paid by card, the server with the credit card machine was on the phone speaking with the manager in Spanish. The screen of the credit card machine was faced away the whole time so we wouldn't have been able to see the total. It was a bit shocking being charged almost $37 for one dish that cost $17! The service charge is ~20% and already included in the bill. Even though the food was good, I felt a bit icky from this experience so I won't come again when I'm in Miami Beach. If it was only one of the above I would've been able to brush it off easier, but the combination of being charged for expensive water + not being shown the total before being charged + server being on the phone + 20% service charge before tip was quite a lot. I sat outside and it was really nice being right on the sidewalk and people watching! Cute restaurant and great location right in the heart of Miami Beach.

She was prompt in getting it to me but disappeared (not really, she had plenty of time for all the tables around me and was able to ignore me when I tried to get her attention). By the time she showed up to get my desert order I just asked for the check. I was rather pissed. I got the check and paid it, adding a 30% tip. It wasn't until I got the final print out that I discovered that the restaurant had already added a 20 gratuity. Since I had issues with my server, and the surprise automatic gratuity was not helping matters i asked for the manger. Told him about my experience and said there was NO the server earned and 50% tip. He refunded me the extra I put on as an added gratuity, but that was it. The food was good, but was so very salty I couldn't eat the entire entree (pork, rice, beans). The beans were good. The rice good. The prok goo to a point. Oh, they have also changed their name.
