I was completely outraged to find out that he is no longer working there. They didn't want to give me no explanation to what happened to him or why he wasn't working there anymore. I made an appointment at last minute at Live Hair Salon late on Saturday night. I needed a blow dry for Monday , and I was happy to see that this salon was open on Sundays. From the start, scheduling the appointment was super easy- the online system makes it easy to book and see what times are available for any given day. I made an appointment with Talisa (based on her fabulous reviews on here) and did not regret it! From the time I got to the salon, everyone was super friendly and I was offered water immediately. Also, Talisa immediately washed my hair and asked me what concerns I had about it ; I told her the story of how my life's nemesis has been frizz and baby hairs, and she promptly explained to me how she was going to control those issues while blow drying my hair. Throughout the entire time Talisa blow dried my hair, we made easy friendly conversation, talking about random things (like coffee. Lol). Everyone was still super friendly and I felt really comfortable at the salon. At the end, my hair looked FABULOUS! I loved how it came out; Talisa styled it perfectly and addressed my concerns and gave me tips on how to control my life's enemy (frizz!). I will definitely be back at Live soon for another blow dry! Liv Blow Dry is FANTASTIC! They are really top notch! I used to go to another blow dry salon in Pinecrest further down on Dixie but was so glad when Liv opened! The owners are amazing and really friendly. Appointments can be booked online or by phone, I always get a confirmation. They use amazing organic products and their stylists are more than amazing, I can get several days out of one of their blow outs. They also do an amazing job with my daughter's hair! I called and got an appointment right away, very accommodating! adding a style such as loose curls (which is what I got) is included in the price whereas some blow out salons charge extra for a style.. the price is beyond reasonable! Elia was amazing- she washed my hair 3 times and gave my scalp some much needed attention! The blow dry service was great. Do NOT give your email or phone number to them if you can help it. I immediately got spam text messages asking me to rate their service then another asking about future promotions. In order to make them stop you have to reply back. Annoying and rude. say what this is the new place in town lol ok so i went last year when they just opened. My hair was done by a lady can't remember her name. It was ok but not impress. I have long thick hair curly so i know is hard to work with my hair but it was left a bit freeze. Any how, 3 weeks ago i decided to give it another try. Called and ask if they have anything available i was told yes right away.I was there in 5 minutes and my hair dresser was a male. Unfortunately i can't remember his name but all i know is that he is from Hawaii and he was outstanding!!!!!!!!!! i am coming back just because of him. So happy I found this place! Everything from making an appointment to leaving was perfect! I made my appointment online and it was super easy. I was greated with exceptional politeness and offered wine or soft beverages. The space inside is tastefully decorated, super clean and smells great. HGTV was playing on tvs which is something I can watch for days so I was happy. My stylist was Robby and he was delightful. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and made his suggestions which I appreciate as most of the time I'm unsure how I want my hair done. During shampoo he gave me a head massage that felt amazing. He gave me soft curls on the bottom which I would never be able to accomplish on my own and even showed how to preserve the look overnight. After getting home I did notice a few things I would do differently, next time I'll just know to mention them. Like the way I want my crown straightened and how I like my bangs styled. But overall I loved the experience and reasonable pricing. I'll be going back! read more
