Vivant is the worst! I have to call them every month to trouble shoot some problem. Then because my…read morecredit card was stolen, after one day past due I get a call from a "collection agent" stating my bill was in collections! I pay off all my equipment then and there and want to end service as I am that mad. I didn't realize I was paying fifty dollars a month for the service- what a scam! I was late the second month because I didn't know about the service charge and I get a call from the area code my phone is from, another state, but I moved fifteen years ago... and the only person that calls me from that area code is car warranty specialists! I don't answer the phone until the third day! Guess what- I'm three days late on my bill and it's in collections. I go to view my bill and then pick "chat online" after viewing my bill. I get a robot and then a live rep who tells me I have to call this number after fooling around for twenty minutes in the chat and I have to verify myself like five different ways.... This number sends me to a call bank in South America I'm guessing as no reception and heavily accented individuals who read off a script and offer no help... then I'm waiting to talk to a manager... after forty minutes on hold I call state side and I call billing and she says - that it's Vivant billing doing the calling and I'm not in collections, and they had told them before not to say collections. She can't help me and makes me call the call bank again! I'm going to the BBB and my State DA - maybe the Idaho state DA... I'm livid! I wish I would have bought my security system from Costco! Save your energy. I will say in my area the boots on the ground are nice people and we're safe to allow in your house! Other companies not so much.
