I had a surgical procedure recently for an injury and went to Med Spa Studios for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing 100% oxygen in a specialized chamber where the air pressure is increased to 2-3 times that of normal atmospheric pressure. This process enhances the delivery of oxygen to tissues, promoting healing and recovery. The type of chamber and the pressure it can reach makes all of the difference in the effectiveness of the treatment. You will find other places that use soft shell chambers that can only reach 1.3 -1.5 atmospheres absolute (ATA). That's ok for mild treatments or basic recovery. However, if you really want clinical grade therapies, you need 2.0 ATA or more. There's no skimping on the oxygen chambers here. The hard shell chambers at Med Spa Studios can reach 2.5+ ATA for serious healing. Carla's creativity really shines in the studio. The overall atmosphere, the color palettes, the hyperbaric room with trees and a cool projector skylight on the ceiling. I was supposed to leave town today, but I was having some pretty bad lower back pain, so I called to see if there was any way I could get an Aescape session before I left. I was encouraged to come by. When I got there, I found out they're normally not even open on Mondays, but they wanted to help me out anyway. I'm pretty particular about who I see for bodywork, and honestly, a last-minute appointment with someone I didn't know wasn't an option for me. But I ended up really enjoying the Aescape. I told Jeremy I could probably only do 15-30 minutes, and he set it up for a full hour and told me to just go as long as I could and pause it whenever I needed to leave. Which, again, goes to show how they treat people. I was able to completely relax my mind without having someone else there physically working on me, and I felt so much better physically afterward. I also had so much less anxiety about the drive once I left.
