The employee also wrapped up my gifts in individual bags (which I bought there, so cute) for me and added tissue paper, tied a little bow to them as well which took a load off my shoulder as I rushed home that day.

This is really the store to go to for main furnishings, not just decorative. But they do have incredible holiday/seasonal decorations. If you certainly do the heavy lifting and bring the large items home yourself but they also contract out to a third party that you can arrange for pick up and delivery too. This store has beautiful mirrors and wall art too. It's easier to find multiple pieces of things here, unlike homegoods where you'll find only one. So things like matching chairs, wall art, mirrors, lamps that you need multiples of, this is where to go.

It took over ye old Toys R Us location in Carle Place so you know the ceilings are high. For such a big place, the aisles could have been wider, especially considering they opened during the pandemic where we all need s p a c e. However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. I'll admit, I was nervous to leave NYC's shopping scene behind when I made the move to JC. I was considering living in Hoboken for a while, and Washington St has a ton of really great boutiques. Jersey City? Not so much. There are bars and restaurants as far as the eye can see, but when a gal needs some new clothes a new tapas joint popping up every week just aint gunna cut it. Tia's place is everything that it needs to be. Price points are very reasonable, think similar to Forever 21 or H&M. The clothing selection is stylish and trendy, and if I buy a shirt that goes out of style next season but I get a few good wears out of it I won't feel that bad. They are all stocked up for summer and there was a bountiful selection of maxi dresses and light and flowy chiffon tops when I was in the other day. Tons of cute costume jewelry and tote bags as well. I was hoping that they would have jean shorts but to my dismay there were none. I didn't have my wallet on me but I'll be in again ASAP to buy some cute summer staples.

Necklaces are hanging on tree stands, lingerie is draped on pink chaises, and it just feels like a huge 2 story closet filled with Tory Burch, Rampage, Max and Cleo, Hale Bob, and lots of other designers.

Over the past few years, I've been experimenting with adding in some accessories to my wardrobe. During a visit to Philly earlier this year, I accidentally shattered a cheap hematite ring I'd picked up as a souvenir from Shasta Caverns, and I've been keeping an eye out for a replacement. I spotted a bowl of similar rings -- except they were rainbow-y! -- at the cashier counter here and couldn't resist picking one up. I love how inclusive this shop is: they proudly support Native/Indigenous artists and they're queer-friendly, too. I walked out of this shop sporting warm fuzzies... and some shiny fabulously gay finger bling, to boot.

The oxygen was different in there. The women in the shop were very helpful. They repotted my plant, treated her and told me how to take care of her. My plant has been thriving ever since. I purchased a new plant while I was there because I was feeling inspired. The women were so knowledgeable and friendly. The prices for the plant help were reasonable also. I'll definitely come back for my next plant as the staff were so patient in answering my questions .
