Carol and her team customized our space beautifully with attention to every detail. Finding a designer with an architect, carpenter, electrician, and painters as talented as Swift Morris Interiors was no easy task. This was a big project for our growing family and we wanted to make sure that it was done well and within budget (we don't have $$ to blow on fancy details). We chose Carol after seeing her work in another condo within our building. The craftsmanship and design were unique yet tasteful and done better than anything I've seen. So after several interviews with other designers, we selected Carol and team and could not be happier with the results. As with any major renovation, it was hard to live through. Many decisions needed to be made and Carol helped to guide us through this period. And like any major renovation, it does cost more than you planned and may take a little longer, but the choices made were well worth it. For example, lighting is an enormous expense. Much more than I had planned. While I would have been fine opting for fixtures from places like Restoration Hardware, etc, Carol insisted on a more unique vendor that truly brought character to our home and is the first thing people notice and compliment when they come over. It's not "showy" and wasn't a much bigger expense than if I had purchased from a mall-vendor, but it fits so well in our home, making it uniquely ours and has already added value to our condo (should we sell). Same with painting and color choice. Who would have thought that a salmon color would be the perfect choice for our mudroom? Not me. But Carol had a clear vision for this room, which is the most functional room in our condo, with plenty of storage to fit 2 bikes, 2 strollers, etc (it's not often you can that in Hoboken!). We always receive a ton of compliments on the color of the mudroom....all Carol but perfectly us. If you are looking for a long-term renovation, Carol and team are an excellent choice. After 2 kids, instead of moving to the burbs, we rebuilt our condo to bring the burbs to us and couldn't be happier with the results. We actually have more room than ever imagined and designed perfectly for a family.

The apartment at the time was completely empty, and it was hard for potential buyers to visualize the space without furniture. We gave Carol short notice and a limited budget. She was able to improvise and simply make it happen! She quickly assessed the place, gave helpful pointers (small fix-its, etc), chose the paint colors, selected furnishings from her shop and through her various connections, and organized the deliveries. She did this all in a completely collaborative way while also taking the lead to help minimize my stress! Carol has impeccable taste level and knowledge of how best to use the space. The apartment now looks a million times better than it did when it was empty, and than it did when it was previously occupied. (Almost made my husband and I want to move back in!) D&G was hired to stage our home for sale. They and the realtors suggested we refinish the floors in the home before putting it on the market, which we agreed to do and received a bill from D&G for the floor resurfacing which we paid. D&G then moved furnishing into the home. We noticed some minor scratches on the brand new floors after the furnishing were moved in but let it go. When it came time to move the furnishings out, I asked that we be notified what day and time D&G would be moving out the furnishings so that we could ensure there was no further damage, but was not given a time. D&G entered my home without authorisation and significantly damaged the newly finished floors (see pics attached) while moving out the furnishings. I have made multiple calls to D&G attempting to have this resolved, but have yet to be connected with someone who is able to resolve the matter. I've been told these individuals are traveling. In the meantime, we are waiting to have the floors fixed before moving furniture into the home. I will update this review if someone from D&G calls me back and offers an amicable solution. I'm someone who would like to see all small business owners succeed, but also believes in standing behind one's service. Update: I spoke with the proprietor of D&G. I am appreciative that she called me back. She refused to take responsibility for the scratches. Instead she blamed Prime Realty who maintained control of the unit during the sales process. Prime Realty did provide D&G a key to enter the home. In sum, the deep scratches in the floor were not present prior to the removal of the furniture by D&G. They were present immediately after the removal of the furniture. It would have been appreciated if the company would have taken responsibility for the damage.

They also told me that they were "just about to contact me about it" which I find hard to believe. They then proceeded to ask to cancel my order. Really upset and quite bad abrupt customer service. I would not recommend buying from this company as they do not know how to treat there customers appropriately. They offered me "additional items" and booja chocolates to be sent with my order if I didn't want to cancel... the boOna chocolates were already included in the original order and who knows what these "additional items" were. I presume they would not be worth the stress and the money being taken/held from my account for a number of days without any contact. Also the items were advertised as on sale, it's January so I assumed it was a January sale. I told them they were on sale but they said they had no record of this... even though my order went through and I had an email confirmation , money left my account and I had the shop app with tracking set to take place. Super strange.
