Right when you walk through the front doors, you'll be blown away by the size of the building and style. Service: I personally LOVE the fact the employees are not commissioned based solely on you do not get any pressure to buy. It's a unique but effective strategy. I honestly buy from here because I can take my time and receive excellent service when I am ready to purchase an item. Quality: Every item I've come across is built very well and is packed with style and quality materials. Play Area: I have never been a furniture place that offers a two store play area and will watch your child for up to two hours while you shop. I repeat this place has a PLAY AREA . They have excellent safety protocols and nestled in this area, there is a movie section for the "older" kids. To put into perspective on how nice this playground is, a lot of local moms come here specifically to let their kids play indoor. Cons: Price: I will admit the pricing is slightly higher compared to American Furniture Warehouse, Ashley or Bell Furniture. Initial in-store ewxperience was positive. The store layout is nice and we were helped by a manager, Becca, who was knowledgeable, prompt and professional. That is where the positive experience ended. We ordered a bed, two night stands, two rugs, four dining chairs ands later a dresser to match the night stands. The dining chairs and bed were delivered as scheduled on 8/28. The chairs are white and there was/is black marks on them. It appears to have come from the delivery person's black gloves as he touched them when we pointed it out and more black appeared. He said 'that is normal' and took pictures as we expressed our difference of opinion as to whether white chairs normally have black marks on them. The bed was put together and the top or first cross-slat was not screwed to the bed frame. We brought this to his attention and left the room while he fixed it. We checked it after he left and realized he took the screw out of one of the middle slats to put in the first one. So we have one loose bed frame piece. We went to the store that day (8/28) and made them aware. The person at the 'desk' said someone would be in touch by 8/31. We have not heard from anyone so went back to the store just now and no one knows why we have not been contacted. The other items we paid for (couch/night stands/rugs) are somewhere with an estimated 9/21 arrival but no one know why it is taking that long. We purchased a dining table at Rooms to Go that was also delivered on 8/28 intact and professionally done. Totally different experience. read more

We ordered a couch on May 28th. Received an email that delivery would be 6/26-7/10 since we changed the fabric. I have yet to receive any updates on this couch. I called Living Spaces yesterday and the lady said, "oh, you are supposed to be called tomorrow for an update". Of course...that was the answer. I bought a leather recliner, loveseat recliner and matching chair recliner. I purchased their Carefree warranty ($700) The leather in the leg rest tore. I put in a claim and it was denied. I took pictures to the stores and at first they were helpful. They resubmitted the claim for me but I was denied again. The store manager said she would help me but it's been almost a year of emails to no avail. Her name is Dreanna Strong. Do not trust her or LIVING SPACES and if you do decide to purchase their furniture, DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY. read more

We are left with we are trying to figure it out as we are left were an empty living room with no couch and $7k expense. We are going on day 2, and are being told possibly Monday. Very seldom to I leave a review this terrible. I purchased a set from Living spaces in Feb 24 for approx $2500. This set was decent and has looked good style wise, although the quality of the material was a bit questionable. However, you get what you pay for. Given that we were happy with the first set, when we decided to remodel, we went back in November of 24. I spent over $7k on a leather sofa set on 11/22/24. The first sofa delivered on 11/25 was damaged at the warehouse, the second delivered on 12/6 was cut by a box cutter during delivery, the third delivery on 12/9 came with box cutter marks which were done at warehouse or delivery, the fourth delivery on 12/16 was a used returned sofa delivered (cuts, marks, dirt), the 5th delivery on 12/18 had major sun damage and discoloration from sitting in the sun, and the final 6th delivery on 12/23 had manufacturer die defects (there is a repair spot on the arm). Each time, managers assured me the next sofa would be inspected prior to delivery, but none of them were actually inspected. I offered to go to the warehouse prior to delivery to inspect but was told they wouldn't let us do this. I have spoken to multiple reps, supervisors, and managers online. They also asked the store to get involved to assist me. The first two store employees (Joshua and Diane) were so nice and both admitted they have a systemic warehouse issue as well as the fact that they contract 3rd party delivery teams which are not great. However, they both said they would make sure the warehouse inspected the next sofa's and this did not happen. The last customer service manager at the store, Sheridan, was rude and offensive. Sheridan told me there was nothing wrong with Sofa #6, and hung up on us. Sheridan told us only course of action was that the store would take the set back and charge us $700 (10%) restocking plus $99 return pickup fee. The last delivery, the team was rude and my very patient son almost asked them to lease our house. He would not take pictures of the defects but took pictures of the other side of the sofa that was in front of the bright light of our door. After an hour on the phone with Sheridan, I called back (1-800 number because you cannot call and speak to a store manager) and they finally admitted it was a manufacturer defect, after showing the better pictures I had to send it to another manager. However, Sheridan had written notes on the account that could not be exchanged (even though 4 times were delivery/warehouse issues). The customer service through the 1-800 number has decided that since it was manufacturer defects, they will return the entire set free of charge... However, we used their financing, and I have already made 2 payments on a sofa set that I don't have. Financing is to begin 30 days after delivery... but since the deliveries have failed and they don't communicate that to the financing company either, I have been paying on a set I don't actually have. They are set to pick back up the defective set Jan 8th. I simply wanted them to exchange the sofa for a good one as I have decorated around this set and truly love the style and design. Instead of making it right, we were told we couldn't be pleased with the manufacturer. We don't feel this is a manufacturer issue, but rather a store, warehouse, and delivery issue. Moral of the story - Living Spaces would rather lose a $7k sale rather than just make it right. The actual store support (Sheridan and Leslie - her boss) have no desire to make things right. They were rude, condescending, and care nothing about customer service. I feel like overall this could be a great store, but the lack of customer service and incompetence makes me warn anyone from buying. I have tried to get resolution on this issue and no one at corporate will actually call me back. read more

Nice place. I registered for this v I p event to get a preview of the items. They served food and drink and it was hosted very well. I was shocked to see they had a kid's play area and I soon called my husband over to invite the kids. I am pretty sure based on this experience alone they probably have my business. Selection: This is not a cheap place and you probably cannot find any piece of furniture under seven hundred dollars. But they do have a lot of items to choose from and a very nice display. Parking: Parking is going to be a large lot. It is not shared with anyone else. Extras: So this is where this place really shines. There is literally an entire kid's place center in there a long with a cafe where you can order drinks. If you make a cafe purchase you can put your tab towards the purchase. I am pretty sure I am going to be stabbing by here. Just to hang out and buy something. I had visited the League City location the previous day and wanted to visit the location in Conroe which is closer to my home to make sure the couch I had decided on was the right choice. Christopher, the store's interior designer, came over to check on me shortly after I got to my couch of choice. He spent well over an hour helping me with what would work best for me and my home, finding the perfect accent chair, showing me what would be visibly appealing for the pillows and throws, discussing the Crypton fabric and the self care benefits. I left the store excited because I knew it would look great and be a good fit for my home. read more

We purchased these beautiful couches a few months back and I wanted to wait to post my review to give them the comfort test. Let me tell you we have fallen in love with these soooo much. Cindy S was our sales person and was so patient with us as helped us pick custom fabrics a rug etc. She was just amazing And her boss was so helpful as well. I will never buy another item from Living Spaces again. I have been trying for 6 months to get a credit posted to the Synchrony account and Have no response from the Conroe store at all so I had to go to customer Service Line and have been told 3 different times they would call back to confirm credit will be posted to account and do not get a return call. I have given them the RMA number they confirm they have it with correct amount but for some reason cannot get this applied so Synchrony will not show me as delinquent. When I filed a complaint with Synchrony and sent copy of credit they came back and said Living Spaces told them the credit was store credit or gift card which I never agreed to. I only wanted a couple of couches and this has turned into a nightmare. Please save yourself some trouble and never buy from them. read more

This review is regarding the staff/child play area. We came to look for furniture with our older daughter and while she and my husband were shopping I planned to let my 2.5 year old son play. As soon as I walked up to the kid area, I was stopped by a woman and was told he cannot come in as he's too young and I said I'd planned to stay with him and she said no, parents are not allowed in here. There is nowhere on their website or within the store that communicates these age restrictions. Additionally, I find it really strange that parents are not allowed to watch their own kids. This woman was not watching the kids that were in there at all, she had her back to them and was on her computer the entire time. I communicated this frustration to another employee and all he said was "we can't control the website". read more

We brought our kids to play while we shopped for a sectional. We had four young children with us -- all clearly under age 4 -- and were told nothing at the entrance except that they had carts for smaller kids. When we said we were heading to the play area, no one mentioned the age requirement. Once we got across the store to the play place, the staff member there was extremely rude. She looked at each child and just pointed, asking, "How old?" We answered: 3, 18 months, and 2. Her only response was "Nope," after each one -- no explanation, no kindness, just dismissive attitude. Eventually, we were told kids have to be 4-12 to play. That's understandable, but the way it was handled was unprofessional and unkind. If that's the policy, it should be clearly communicated at the entrance -- especially when it's obvious we had younger children. The woman working at the play place was incredibly rude, and even the manager we spoke with was unhelpful. We won't be returning. Very poor customer service overall, and not a family-friendly experience. Also let me add we checked the website before we loaded up all the kids and came and no where does it say an age requirement. read more

I have been treated terribly by them. This is our second couch. Our first one fell apart so quickly they gave us a in store credit. Originally I went with my wife and son for him to get a new mattress. While we were there my wife and I started trying the cooling pillows. Long story short they had very few pillows in store to purchase. We decided to get 2 that were there and ship the other 2 since it was free. This is where it all starts, first the sales person puts in the wrong address for shipping second she tries to charge me $99 for full service shipping, for pillows and lastly I asked specifically not to be added to a email list and absolutely no text messages. I made sure to select no for texts and I unclicked the box to allow text and marketing emails. So this all happened Sunday and since then I have now received several email and text. There is no value in a business that does not respect your privacy or your personal preferences. I do not recommend this business. read more

But the real insult is being told I'd get a substantial discount on a bookcase because it's the only one left in a discontinued series. I was ready to spend over $2000, but the substantial discount turned out to be 5%. On a discontinued floor model. Despite the amount of money I was about to spend, 5% was my substantial discount. The bed was going to be delivered the same day-today. We received a call the day before saying everything was on the truck and gave a window from 8am-6pm. We got a call today (delivery day) that the table has been misplaced and would be available until September and the bed would not be delivered either. The bed is for my 78 year old father who now has no place to sleep and they said earliest delivery is now Friday for the bed (today is Monday). We have called and customer service is HORRIBLE. I visited this store on 7/6/2024 to purchase multiple items one of them to include a dining room buffet table. Upon selecting the item and being told I could pick it up the service went downhill. A floor manager was extremely rude and told me how many concessions they were making for me, contradicted herself on multiple occasions and advised me she didn't work on commission. Basically she didn't care if I purchased or not. After choosing to stop shopping and only purchase what I had picked out because of service, the gentleman loading the buffet table dropped it while loading it in my truck and proceeded to laugh about the situation. We chose "free delivery" and were expecting our furniture between Jan 2-11th. Here it is February 6th and we have received NOTHING. Living Spaces pushes us off to delivery company. Delivery company says they haven't received the items from Living Spaces. You can't speak to anyone at the Conroe store to get a refund or a real update. I would give them a negative number if I could! We ordered two couches from them, on-line the beginning of October with a delivery date of 11/12, no problem. In about a week I got an e-mail saying...good news, your backorder has arrived early - let's schedule a sooner delivery date...which I did. Living Spaces confirmed with me via phone, texts and e-mails coming up to my delivery date telling me to get ready - clear the room, etc. On the day - no show. I called and they said my sofas had been damaged and returned to the warehouse (also said someone would call me regarding it but, no call). We then had to pick a new delivery date, funny - it was 11/12 (the soonest). Same song, second dance. Numerous e-mails, texts, confirmations via phone (them to me and vice versa). On the day - I figured I had better check..just to be sure they were coming - guess what??? No delivery was scheduled but we could now do 1/2/25. After clearing my existing furniture out the room...twice - I cancelled the order. Now I am waiting for my credit (as they charged me when I ordered, of course)...time will tell! Although the people on the floor sound knowledgeable and assist willingly, their information on products is quite inaccurate. My husband and I recently ordered a couch from this location. We even chose a color we didn't initially want because we were told it was the only one available at their California warehouse. Otherwise, we would be waiting 3 months for one from china. We had delivery confirmed by the company three times this week. Even narrowing down the delivery time to a few hours for us. Delivery day was yesterday, and no couch showed up. When we called to find out where it was, we were told it isn't even in the warehouse in California to begin with, it's a discontinued model and that we would have to wait another month to have it shipped from china. We have already removed our previous couch in preparation for today. So here we (don't) "sit", no couch, no couch on the way and down almost $3,000. We are trying to decide what to do next, but it looks like a store visit with some important conversations is next as the information we received at the time of purchase in store was all completely inaccurate according to their logistics department. read more

We purchased our new sectional on the 19th of November and our associate was Chris S. All credit goes to Chris for us purchasing anything from Living Spaces in Conroe. The store had just opened a day or so before and we could tell when we came in that each associate was different. When we walked in, there were two associates there and we were greeted with attempts at a proper customer hand off, and they were seriously unsuccessful. We were handed to no one. No consideration or acknowledgement of our lack of knowledge or experience at this location. We found Chris S. by one of the sectionals and he was a true professional. We could tell he was well versed at customer service, he was extremely patient, thought outside of the box, and that Chris had the correct temperament for his position. Unfortunately, during our interaction with Chris, we were constantly interrupted by other associates and one of them said she was his supervisor/manager. She not only physically positioned herself directly in our circle, she interrupted our conversation several times to say the same things that Chris had already said. She left shortly after we tried to assure her, Chris, was doing an outstanding job helping my family. Chris was a trooper though and did not let her disbelief in him or her inability to let her associates do their job get in his way of helping us. My wife and I were very concerned with why he was constantly interrupted by his co-workers, and he told us it was because he has some difficulties dealing with his anxiety when it comes to the work environment. It is such a shame to see the micromanagement that occurred and the serious lack of trust for an associate, who in our minds was the ONLY reason we purchased anything at all. While we were attempting to finalize the options for our sectional, we were interrupted again by another associate, then another associate, and another, and even his supervisor/manager returned and sat down in our area again, so she could interject more unrequested conversation. When we went to pay for our sectional, the desk was manned by an employee who basically ignored Chris to finish a conversation she was having with a few other associates who just happened to be at the desk. When she acknowledged Chris, he was basically made to look like he was on his own with finalizing his process, even so much as to tell him to look for the printer in the cupboards in her area, as if he knew better where these things were. All in all, we were extremely disappointed with how bad the staff treated Chris S. and how this type of behavior reflects badly on Living Spaces. Chris S. should be acknowledged for his service and how amazing he was with his efforts. Chris single-handedly figured out the appropriate configuration, measurements, style and budget that turned into the perfect sectional for us. Such a breath of fresh air to know that someone still cares about how important we are as customers. read more
