I visited this store today in need of all new furniture for my new home. Upon arriving I voiced to the sales associate at the front that I was in need of assistance picking out furniture for 3 large rooms at which time he said he would send someone over to help me. I should mention there were barely any cars in the parking lot and very few customers and despite 3-4 associates seen sitting down at a patio display I waiting over an hour and still unable to get assistance. Discouraged, I finally went back to the front and told them I was still unable to get any assistance and I was thinking of heading to another store instead. I had planned on spending well over 10K worth of furniture but they seemed completely unphased when I had to take my business elsewhere bc of poor customer service or lack there of. I've purchased from this location in the past but if today is a reflection of their customer service these days, I don't see myself going back or recommending them. read more

Hi, I will continue to write this review and let other customers know what happened to me until you guys can guarantee my full warranty back after falsifying information for a sale. Your choice. You have my number and contact information. Up until now everything was fine. We bought our couch a year ago because an our baby cat peed on the last one. We went in and asked the right questions, bought the upgrades and the warranty so we knew what we were paying for. We also trusted the company to take care of what they were selling us ( the warranty.) The associate and manager assured us if the foam accidentally got pee on it that it would be covered. A year later there was an accident and we tried to use our $500 dollar warranty with the warranty company and living spaces both saying "tough shit." Tell me what person would think that the washable fabric would be the issue? Of course I asked about this. They are now claiming that it's not covered in the warranty. Okay fine. Miscommunication but we can't even cancel the warranty that we can't even use. We can't even get our money back or credited to our account to deal with this. So they lied to us so we would get the warranty that covers nothing, then say they can't help me because it's a different company. I went to living spaces because I trusted the name, YOU GUYS sold me a warranty from a crappy company under false pretense. Then won't help me as they are screwing over the customer that you brought to them. If your reading this living spaces, you have my phone number. I'm going to leave a review everywhere I can and continue bothering you. Your not screwing me out of $4000 dollars and calling it an easy day. Your response is unfounded. We just bought a bed and mattress from living spaces, this review is not on the quality of those as they are amazing. This review centers more so around the customer service and the treatment we got when going back to buy more furniture. Last week, we bought a couple bed frames and a mattress, and spent close to $5,000 for all of it. Delivery was free, the service was great, and the mattress has been extremely comfortable, so we decided to go back after we moved in to get the rest of the furniture we needed. After working with sales reps we had a couple night stands, a dresser, and an accent table picked out. The total was $2,200. We bought the accent table "as-is" and were told that even though there was scratches and some flaws in it that we still had to pay full price. We had no problem with this as the furniture was high quality and the flaws were pretty minimal. We were then told that we had to pay $100 for delivery or else the furniture would be dropped off in boxes similar to IKEA and we'd have to put it together. We stated that we just bought $5,000 worth of furniture last week, and we were told that if we had bought this stuff with that then we wouldn't have had to pay delivery. So we decided we would just leave without buying anything because we didn't want to spend $2,200 on furniture we had to put together, at that point might as well go to ikea or target etc and pay $500 or less for everything. We let a manager know that it was a little frustrating to have spent so much money last week and coming back to spend more (we would've been close to $7.500 in a week at this place), and we were essentially told it is what it is. The quality of the furniture here is good, but most things are out of stock and customer service is severely lacking... the lack of care for returning customers is wild. read more

Never buy accessories from here!!! I bought a 7 foot leaning mirror for a little over $400. After less than two months the top right corner of the mirror on the frame starts chipping. Keep in mind that this is the top right corner of a 7 foot mirror. Of course they answer I knew customer service would give me that "it could be an outside influence." The way it was chipping was from underneath and finally made it to the surface. Apparently with accessories you have to report it after 7 days of delivery. Again how am I suppose to determine that if the damage from underneath the surface. Literally nothing Living Space could do. NO REFUND NO EXCHANGE. The company doesn't even try to work with you. No compromise whatsoever. This is pretty sad for a big company. Very cheap quality! Horrible customer service! Living Space response would be "Thanks for the feedback, I'll share it with management." ***Buyer Beware, Furniture Quality Falsely Advertised & Shortcut*** HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, decided to purchase the Coleman King Panel Bed. After inspecting the floor model thoroughly, making sure all components were solid, quality seemed nice, thick/good wood was used on the bed (especially the rails), got home and couldn't be MORE deceived and disappointed. 1. The BIGGEST issue was the rails were not the same size or quality. The floor model measures at 1-2/16" while the rails I got in my boxes, measured 9/16", see pictures below. UNACCEPTABLE, DECEITFUL, NOT THE SAME ITEM! 2. Only 3 block supports were given for 5 of the crossbeam supports, see picture below. 3. The crossbeam supports have predrilled holes and one of them was pre-drilled through a knot at the end and the wood had split, see picture below. 4. Extremely poor craftsman ship on rails, nails hanging out and snapped off, see pictures below. I decided to give Living Spaces the benefit of the doubt and head back to the store/warehouse and swap out the rails. Upon arrival, I worked with their warehouse team and opened 7 additional rail boxes to find they were all the same smaller/cheap/horrible wood that I already had. The warehouse team was AWESOME, they couldn't believe what I was showing them versus what it was supposed to be (box Vs. Showroom floor). With no success finding the same quality panels as the showroom model I went inside to discuss with the manager. They proceeded to tell me, the manufacturer must have "CHANGED THINGS UP." Also, my options were to return it or exchange it. The managers took no responsibility for falsely advertising or delivering a different product. How about LIVING SPACES delivers the product that is on the Store floor. The story continues, I spoke with customer service, only to be told it was my responsibility to bring it back if I wanted to exchange it or return it, even though they offer "free delivery" and that was my only choice and then was hung up on. So, beware, horrible products, horrible customer service, false advertising, and cheap material are just a few ways to describe Living Spaces Company, I hope they make this right, until then I will inform everybody of how they conduct business, and my company will cease doing business with them immediately. I guess I didn't learn my lesson with this store. Once again I purchased a product that's defective in the box. I have to up Load a pic wait 72 hours for them to respond or find a truck and take back to the store. It's sad that you can't trust this store to give you a product that's not damaged. The nightmare continues. The bed broke. It was still under warranty and twice they delivered the wrong part. Continued spam reminds me to write a review. We bought a sofa with ottoman from this store- about $900 On delivery the ottoman wasn't "square" it wobbled. the delivery people left us to deal with the store by phone. a billion phone calls the replacement showed up about 3 weeks later- with a slightly different cloth covering. Even when new this design and construction provides no support, I rarely sit on this as the sinking feeling as you tilt to the side is uncomfortable. The sofa over time has essentially collapsed in the center, part of the cheap plywood frame broke. Which required me to open to bottom to fix it- much of the wood used appears to be scraps, poor quality construction means that many of teh staples used to fasten are only into 1 piece of wood, not 2. I braced with a 2x4 and added a support to the center. We won't ever return to this store. nope read more

If I can give this place less than 1 star I would. We recently bought a bed set. They checked inventory to see if it was in stock. They told us it was. The day of delivery we get a call that they do not have it but will get it from California. Okay a little bit of inconvenience. Willing to wait for the bed set. Later that day we get an email saying they don't have it and it is discontinued, so they won't have it. Not a call but an email. In the email they also sent an alternative. It felt very dismissive. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had with a furniture store. I will never ever come here again, and I'll be sure to share my experiences with friends. We came yesterday to get a couch and bed. The first person we asked for help was rude and unhelpful, and then somehow we got stuck with her while we walked around shopping because the manager told her to help us. Pamela was unfriendly and seemed put off the whole time we shopped. Spent over 1600$ and were treated like she had better things to do. After all of this Pamela drops us off at the cashier and walks away. Doesn't say thank you or anything. The next day we get our bed and it comes damaged. We call the customer service line and they were absolutely useless. Told us to send a picture and maybe in a couple days a manager wood call. That's unacceptable. Then she proceeds to tell us we should have opened all the boxes before we picked them up... excuse me? It's ridiculous to tell a customer who's picking up wrapped bed to open everything in the parking lot. This experience was terrible. And we will never be back. We took the headboard back and got it replaced, but I shouldn't have been forced to take it myself and deal with this. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM LIVING SPACES i wish they concentrated on customer care as much as they do on advertising. Worst customer service ever! They have zero clue whats going on and don't really seem to care. I ordered two chairs online, the chairs actually were delivered prior to the stated delivery dates. Thats good, right? Yes, however one of the chairs was missing the assembly hardware. I thought OK, I'll call and they'll send me the hardware. Wrong! The first customer service guy I spoke with actually asked me to take a photo of the "missing" hardware before he could start a claim. How ludicrous is that? I called right back and the second customer service person laughed when I explained what the first customer service representative said. She promised the hardware would be over nighted. No hardware ever came. On another call a week later i was promised someone would bring me the hardware and assemble the chair. No one ever showed up. Its now three weeks later with at least another 4 calls made and a Living Spaces warranty person called and offered to replace both chairs, because the chairs I ordered are out of stock now. I said I didn't want different chairs and would wait for them to come back in stock. She said she can't order a replacement until they have stock. I ordered a replacement chair from Living Spaces as I was told the warranty had expired. Since that time, I have been examining the chairs on an ongoing basis and I ordered 2 more chairs just last week because I noticed the wood splitting on the leg braces of two more chairs. I contacted Living Spaces Customer Service and told them of this inferior product, and they told me to contact a furniture upholstery company and see if they can help me. Definitely never shop here. It's been a couple of weeks since my purchase a d I'm still dealing with them over items that didn't show up. 2 chairs were going to be dropped shipped. I only received 1, and now they are refusing to refund me my money for the other chair until they find out what happened with the shipment, as if that has something to do with me. You can't call a local store, you have to call their primary number a d the hold time is roughly 40 minutes (every time) and when you do get a person be prepared to tell repeat what your issue is for each person you speak with. On top of that, no matter your issue you can't discuss it with anybody in Mgmt. There's this person in Mgmt named Elizabeth, but they were sure to let me know that she won't talk to me or return my call, I just have to deal with the rep. The furniture is nice. The store and the company...trash. Their policies....TRASH. Customer service, Trash. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge for the chair. I purchased a couch 3 years ago and on delivery one of the delivery guys sliced the fabric, I caught him trying to hide it and refused the couch and requested a new one. A few days later they delivered the "new one" except it wasn't new, they send me a refurbished couch and the motor wasn't working properly on the recliner. A sofa we bought about couple years ago for few good hundreds after being told material is great (when it looks horrible after being barely used and no pets or kids to have an excuse to it), solid color (which faded with no use excuse or light or whatever excuse they tried to put on us to get rid of responsibility), and also promised if we buy the extended warranty we'll be covered for 5 yrs. Guess what- this extended warranty has nothing to do with Living Spaces so u know what that means ("talk to them", talking to them "no u should talk to them" talking to them again "we said this" talking to them "they said that" etc each of them throws the responsibility on the other so as a client I have no answers for who promised what), then they give u a list and just for the example- if the fabric ripped you're covered, EXCEPT of all the reasons in the world it could get ripped, so you're not covered AT ALL... If color is faded you're covered EXCEPT all reasons in the world it got faded, including just because, you're not covered, so you're not covered at all! Etc Never gonna ever buy there again and if you're in there because you no other place to go for whatever reason- don't think of spending this money on the extended warranty because after couple years when it's valid, you're literally covered for nothing of what they've promised you and the piece won't be good after couple years... I ordered a recliner from the internet. Never went to the store. It is exactly what I wanted. Fair price. I paid the extra $29 to have it brought inside. We unboxed it. Put the back on. Took the cardboard to our dumpster. Done. I have no complaints. I hope this inexpensive recliner holds up. Even if it doesn't last 20 years it is 1/3 the price of a lazy boy. Also management said they would call me regarding issues, even received email saying " your important we will get right back to you" it's on day three NO calls, come to find out my partial delivery, was to arrive yesterday, I had to call back, was on hold 20 min. Overall Experience & Customer Service A Complete Disappointment! A friend and I visited the store in February 2020 to make a fairly large purchase. He needed a new bedroom set and I purchased a few items that I was able to take home the same day. It was not busy as it was a weekday and we went right when they opened. There were two girls who helped us. One of the girls was probably recently out of training; she seemed to know a lot but checked on a few things with the other girl, likely a manager. Both were friendly and we'd rate them 5 stars if what happened later didn't happen..... My friend picked out what he wanted and was upsold one of their top level mattresses. The tilt, the head and feet, massage, etc. Got sheets, pillows, corresponding furniture and lamps, just under 5k. Paid in cash so checkout was fast and items were scheduled for delivery in 7-10 days. We both left feeling satisfied and even impressed with the experience. Delivery was fulfilled right on schedule and arrived early afternoon. On that day, the guys who setup the room opened the bed packaging and one of the railing boards was split right down the center. Everything was halted at that point. They got on their phone and to dispatch or the warehouse and had us on speaker. We heard the convo which was very fast but resulted in us getting another rail sent out. The phone representative told us that it could be as late as midnight for re-delivery. Somewhat put off, my friendly still agreed. We knew it was not the drivers fault. Their goal is to get in and get out and it shows! Not good. Fast forward to about 11 pm that night and nothing. I started to get suspicious because my friend hadn't gotten any calls or emails to confirm a re-delivery. Instead of waiting into oblivion, we called the customer service number which was in CA. To make a long story shorter, the original representative didn't do something correctly which in turn didn't put the replacement in queue. To add insult to injury, this representative said redelivery would take two days. No..no..no. Got a supervisor on the phone who acted like she was making miracles happens just to squeeze us in for the next day. I had a real problem with that because we were not a new order. We were an order that was not fulfilled and now being put behind others. That policy stinks! Anyways, she did get us setup for the following day but the window was not guaranteed. It was scheduled up until 9 pm and that's pretty much what happened. We were added to the end of the route but it was what it was. She promised me that she'd have a manager follow up the next day and call us. We wanted to make our concerns with the policy and overall experience well known. We had her confirm the number to call and that's how we left it. The next day, two new drivers showed up around 8 pm and had the replacement rail in hand. It wasn't cracked and thought my friend would be good to go. At that point, I was over it. But there was a new issue! So this is where it gets back to the girls in the store. They basically sold my friend a mattress that was not designed to go on the bed frame he purchased. This bed has drawers at the end that are functional but also had impacted the compatibility. If anyone has this type of mattress, they know that it is VERY heavy! There is no box spring. The bed frame was not designed to hold that kind of weight and pressure points as the mattress was contorted up and down with tilting. The bed came with some plastic pole things that were intended to adjust the height of the mattress but they couldn't be used as drawers obstructed the placement at the end of the bed. The bed frame is basically held together on the top by a flimsy piece of plywood to keep the frame square and it had some insufficient legs of wood that were to support the weight of the bed. NO WAY. The bed would have buckled the first night. I knew what I would have to do in order to make it work and told them I would take care of it. I spent the next two hours of that night fixing the bed. Got it all setup. We never got any follow up call from the store or a manager. They don't give two about us or the experience. There was much opportunity for them to make it right and that could have been satisfied with some policy revision on prioritizing redeliveries and retraining staff on mismatching merchandise. No call or apology, no discount for my materials and time, notta. As far as the bed frame holding up and a few months later, it's good. Its still sturdy and works fine with any mattress adjustments. I'll try to add a pic of underneath. I basically cut up some 2x4 posts to carry the weight of the mattress throughout the span on bottom. The cheap wooden pegs they supplied didn't even touch the floor. Needless to say won't be returning. We were left hanging and that says enough to me to put my hard earned money elsewhere. The financing, delivery and setup was perfect- professional and on time! Love Jade. We were very disappointed in the couches when they arrived. They are gorgeous but so firm. We ran back (visit 5) and anticipated returning them, but the showroom couches were perfect so we HOPE ours soften up over time. The best part of our whole experience was Jade- she is really thoughtful, helpful, patient and HONEST! Can't say enough good things about her. I was sure that I would not find the same set; however, I did expect an offer for repair or a replacement chair at a discounted price. I was basically told there was nothing that they could do. Went in this past weekend and dealt with Erica for our new sleeper sofa. Also dealt with Chris for a new queen size mattress. Awesome customer service from both. The items obviously appear to be of good quality, or we wouldn't have purchased. Delivery is set up for this Friday. I will update my rating if need be. But so far, first visit here and definitely more than satisfied with selection and customer service. Sales reps are not pushy. They will not hover, but are always accessible if you have questions. Honestly did not feel any pressure to purchase. This was actually our second furniture shop stop of the day. At the first place, no one greeted us, no one approached us, no one really acknowledged us. Here at living spaces, I can count 3 additional team members besides Chris & Erica that said hello, smiled, or nodded as they passed us. Felt good to know no one was judging us on what it appeared we could afford. It felt a little judgmental at the first shop we visited, which is why we gave Living Spaces a try. We have had two couches, both needed to be replaced and we were (and still are) very skeptical about the third couch we just ordered. First experience with living spaces and I could not be happier! Looked online and liked a sofa with 2 matching chairs and went to see it in person yesterday. Spoke with a sales rep and within 20 minutes I was walking out the door with a delivery THAT SAME DAY. The delivery window was from 6pm to midnight which I thought was crazy and we did get it delivered at 11:45 pm. They put it together and take the boxes with them which I thought was great. While that was a weird experience to have it delivered so late that I wouldn't care to repeat I am just absolutely astonished to receive the furniture that fast especially on a Sunday. It hits even more since I bought a couch 4 months ago and still haven't received that one from another company. We spent over $20 grand on furniture for the entire house and even bought an extended warranty. 3 times within a month we needed to use the warranty because you know how it is with kids and puppies. All 3 times we were denied the use of the warranty. A couple specialty order items came broken in the box and we got busy so we didn't open the boxes until maybe 3 weeks after we got them. Because we didn't open them within 7-10 days the warranty was voided for that even though they came broke from the company. Lost out on about $500. A technician came out to look at our couch that is only 3 months old because the arm rest had somehow broke and we didn't know about it and they said we don't meet criteria. If you are ever so unlucky to need the warranty service of Living Spaces you will learn that it is all but non-existent. So far 6 months, two technician visits, both technicians took pictures, said wrong parts sent, took pictures of correct part from other side of furniture, phone calls dropped multiple times, transferred to another furniture store, value furniture by warranty Services, horrible VOIP connection to foreign representatives, finally waiting for a supervisor call-back in 24-48 hours. Living Spaces says they cannot help it is a warranty services issue. read more

Mr. Escalona was the only Living Spaces professional who took the time to hear our concerns and provide satisfactory options, he gets 5 stars, however my overall rating remains the same. My parents moved to Arizona and wanted to start their new life. They made an almost $6,000 furniture order at the beginning of June. Everything was set for my parents to pick up their order for Wednesday, June 19th, 2019.(Living spaces scheduled my parents pick up on June 19th). So, my dad rents his pensky truck to move stuff from his house in Corona, Ca. After arriving and unloading the day earlier, my dad rented the Pensky one more day and drove to hours to the living spaces for his scheduled pick up only to find a man standing outside telling my dad and a line other customers that Livijg spaces is closed and closes every year of this day! (Strike one against their customer service in our opinion). However, we decided to give them a chance as things happen sometimes. The next day we called to ask them to deliver the furniture because my dad had to turn in the pensky and had other appointments scheduled to get their life started again after their move. They were very rude, said they would charge us $200 to do the delivery and it wouldn't be delivered for almost three weeks. Sadly. Instead of righting their wrongs they lost us as customers forever. At least they were able to give a full refund, but unfortunately my parents had to wait almost 2 weeks to receive their money back after all that bad customer service from something that could have been easily avoided if they took the time to do their due diligence. I will be buying a house very soon and will make sure I do not make any purchases through living spaces! read more

Well, full marks for their extensive collection, well spread Glendale store, and on time delivery of an online order. But, you aren't doing a business right, if a customer has to run poll to post to get updates about pending transactions. So the sofa which I had ordered was taken back by the delivery team themselves, because of a 'no fit' issue. About 1.5months down, 4 visits to the store, 6 customer care calls later, I am still waiting to get my refund!!! Just looking now for the right moment to put the foot down and take necessary follow up actions . read more

Pretty bummed out about having a negative experience. I ordered a couch online for delivery and the address is correct except for the city (somehow it autofilled to the wrong city) and I tried calling and chatting to change this so on the day of delivery there isn't any confusion. All they can tell me is that I have to come in to change the address, and there is nothing they can do about it. Except I don't need to change the address, just need to do a quick clarification, asking if they can put it in my notes, or call me to confirm, since they have all of that on file. Nope. They can't help. What seemed cool is an easy online store and paying for delivery is that it's hassle free. Now it's a huge hassle, I have to go in, which makes zero sense. The customer service is terrible, nobody has been helpful at all. Hopefully this all gets resolved but after 2 attempts I'm thinking this will not get any easier. read more

We purchased the attached pieces of furniture for our home. The furniture was so defective. It had broken drawers and glued in pieces of wood putty, which was all cracked. We also purchased a rug. The rug was such poor quality it is showing signed of wear in less than 3 weeks. We were able to return the furniture, (still waiting on the refund to our credit card). We were not able to return the rug. They only have a 7 day return policy for rugs. We will never go back to Living Spaces. This is the second bad experience for us. Buyer beware. The quality of their furniture is very bad. read more
