This location in Glendale is so much better in service! We purchased a King size bed and chest of drawers and love it! We caught a great sale for Labor Day and had it delivered within a week. Everything arrived in great condition. The delivery men were prompt and professional completing the setup efficiently. We did not have any issues like other reviews listed. Our purchase and delivery/ setup was smooth and effortless! I love this store and the furniture is well made! We will be going back when we remodel next year for our living room! Manager Taylor refused to come to the floor to inspect a floor model coffee table with a reduced price due to damage. She said she was too busy and then after we requested a second time, she said she would waste her time coming to talk to us about a table that was already reduced in price. On Friday me and my fiance went into living spaces to find a Sofa. We found one paid over 1500.00 for the sofa. The sale lady told us it was in stock & can delivered on sunday morning between 8am- 11am. Also told us it was a free delivery or we can pay 90.00 for the delivery and set up. We chose free delivery. So this morning my fiance was worried he did comfumed the delivery so he called Customer service to make sure he did everything right. We found out he did but Unfortunately the truck was full so they left our couch at the warehouse. I believe if we did call customer service we would be sitting at home waiting for the delivery driver. We had to schedule for Tuesday. My fiance even went into living spaces to talk to someone their. No one their could help him. They sould at lease took some money off of the couch for are convenience. I am a very frustrated and livid customer. I have never received worst customer service and this company takes the cake. I ordered my couch in March and still have not received it, the original delivery date was April and it has been rescheduled 5 times now I think. I have lost count at this point. I have called multiple times and being on hold over 30 min every time and being told it has been pushed back yet again. I have never gotten an email or call stating it was pushed back without me having to call and find out myself when the supposed delivery date was nearing. That is bad enough. Then I requested someone email me, so Cheyenne W from #17 store did and after a few emails just told me there was a delay in production. I asked for an update on 7/16/21 and still have not heard back. She is awful at communication and not sure why it is so hard to get a hold of anyone. I then had to call again and be told it was pushed back to August and I asked for someone to contact be about reselecting a couch. I then spoke to Yussef F from #17 store as well and he said all he could offer me was $35!!! I asked for him to speak to his manager because $35 for all my time and efforts was not enough compensation. I have not heard back since 7/20/21. I am convinced this company does not care about their customers. These two associates also need to be trained on how to properly treat customers. read more

Update 7/6/21*- I requested to speak with a supervisor on June 21st and still have not received a call. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Went to the showroom looking for a new sectional, the one I had for the last 6 years was too small now. Spoke with one of the reps on the floor about different fabrics and she told me the fabric I ended up ordering was supposed to be the most durable and easy to clean. Being told this I decided to place an order for a sectional with this fabric. I was told it would take 8-10 weeks and I would have it by Thanksgiving- I purchased it 9/18. November came and I had not heard anything so contacted CSV to check the status of my order and was told they didn't see the order. After going back and forth I spoke to someone who finally told me it would take 12-14 weeks not 8-10. Had I known this I would have went with another sofa I was looking at at Ashley furniture that was available. 14 weeks came and went and I still had not heard anything. I reached back out and again got the run around saying we don't see its left the warehouse yet it'll be another 2 weeks. This was after asking to speak with a supervisor and not hearing back for days. No updates along the way about shipping, incompetent and rude customer service reps and complacent supervisors who have no idea how customer service work. Finally received my couch in January. I've had it for 6 months and two of the cushions have tears at the seams already. I submitted a warrant claim on June 6th and didn't hear anything until this Monday, June 21st. The incompetent rep proceeded to tell me they need to send a tech out (mind you I had to submit 6 different pictures) to determine if it's a manufacturer issue or not. Then proceeded to ask if it's left or right facing, and where the cushions are-are they on rxxxx or rxxxxx? I said I have no idea, the short part is on the left. "Well I need to know where the cushions are before I can schedule a tech" ok take your pick bc they can go on either couch so what does it matter? After going back and forth with her about this I asked to speak with a supervisor to which she said she had to create a ticket. After reading reviews it sounds like a lot of issues occur with the order being completed incorrectly by their furniture builder "vendor" as the phone rep panned it off on. Just picked up our couch today and opened one of the boxes in the parking lot. Should have checked the other because when I unloaded them at home the builder had the incorrect fabric on one of the couches. 1st time ordering from LIving Spaces and def makes me flinch at ordering again. They delivered it with a big stain on the couch, staple left on the couch and the bottom ripped . Delivery guy said I had to call it in. I called it in and it took 5 days to get any action. They are now sending a third party to try to "fix" it! I told them we want a new couch like we ordered...not one with a stain on it that they have to "clean". I called the actual store and talked to the manager when I wasn't getting anywhere with the 1.877 number. I was told this is the process we have to go through. Such a joke for customer service!!! They damage the product and we have to keep the damaged product that they will try to fix at my house during my time. The correct action would be to send a replacement product that is NOT damaged. If anything breaks because of a defect or poor quality materials (not anything you did wrong), you're screwed! Wish we had read more reviews before we made the purchase. They are absolutely no help. This was my parents first time purchasing from them since we didn't have their stores by us where we originally lived. They got a bed and thought it looked decent quality for the price. Told us we had to pay $100 for "full service" delivery even though I now see online we had other options. Deliverers botched putting together the drawers on the bed. We couldn't get them closed but my dad fixed it, so fine, they could live with it. 3 weeks after delivery, the headboard cracks down the middle. They went and talked to the manger at the store and he gave us URL to fill out a form for a return (ended up being an invalid URL) and that we'd then be able to schedule a pickup of the bed and get store credit once someone contacted us. (Also, that day we noticed the display bed also had its headboard cracked...our bad, we should have paid closer attention before purchase). Went back to the store few days later after realizing the info he gave us was wrong. Spoke to someone else who told us to fill out a warranty claim on their website. So we did that, a few days went by, finally got a response that our warranty was approved and they can deliver a ~new~ headboard to us. Kept getting emails to schedule our delivery. Parents don't want the bed anymore because they are concerned it will break AGAIN. So we call customer service. The man on the phone told us he would be able to give us a refund (minus 10% restocking fee and $59 charge for pickup of bed!! After we paid $100 for a bad delivery job) and someone would contact us in 24 hrs with more info and to schedule the pickup. Nothing. Emailed the 2nd person we talked to at the store + the person who got back to us from warranty with our concerns and what to do. They told us they CANNOT give us a refund or store credit (because we are returning after 7 days from delivery...as if we knew the bed was going to break??) or pick up the bed, and "IF" our warranty for the entire bed is accepted, we have to exchange the broken parts or exchange for the same bed. Everyone seems to be aware of a different policy at the company as we keep being told something different. They take days to respond and are not helpful. Clearly they do not care about their customers. They're lucky the bed didn't break in half completely while my parents were sleeping on it. So beware, if you purchase anything from them and it breaks, not because of anything you did, you're pretty much stuck with it unless it happens within 7 days of delivery. If you're on a budget, you're better off purchasing something from IKEA, because if something breaks, they at least have a better return policy. Heck, lots of companies have better return policies. I purchased a sofa 1/28. first one delivered came damaged. the delivery team also harrassed me by phone, text, and numerous times harrassed my place of residence. they also damaged my door to my house. no consideration to this as living spaces is neglecting to cover replacement of this. took then 2 months to even get a replacement and it too is damaged with holes in the sofa. not new at all. this sofa and service has been more hassle than it's worth and now they are neglecting to replace this one as well. If I could give them a zero I would. They delivered brand new furniture to me. Right after I set it up, I called the service center to let him know that one of the rocking chairs was squeaking badly. They said they would send someone out and they would call to set up an appointment. After about a week of not hearing, I called the service center again. They apologized for the error and set up another appointment to come out and take a look at the defective rocking chair. They said they couldn't pinpoint a time but someone would call to give us an appointment time window. Well the appointment day has come and gone with no call...again. One star is even too much. We came to this store back in like January or February to purchase some furniture for our new home & sons big boy room. We got a bed frame, dresser & 3 night stands. When it came to getting our deliveries, 1 night stand was damaged (you could tell just by looking at the box) and the other 2 night stands were a horrible color. So we had to call to exchange the 2 night stands, and get a replacement for the damaged one. The delivery people picked up the 3, and dropped off another 3 new ones. One box again was damaged, so I started to open it as I wanted the driver to take it if it's damaged, the driver informed us he can't do anything about it and we would have to call anyways. So round 2 of having to go through this process for a damaged night stand. We get the 3rd delivery and pick up for the old one... another damaged night stand. I called immediately after receiving the night stand, not only did the gentleman on the phone this time around try to tell me it's hard to believe I got a 3rd damaged night stand as if I'd be lying about it I found out he never processed the exchange because I had to once again call asking why we hadn't gotten a delivery date yet. The last gentleman I spoke with informed me it was never processed, but he sees everything that should have been processed. He contacted the warehouse to ensure this doesn't happen for a 4th time. When they dropped this new one off, it was covered in a blanket rather than a box so they made sure before sending it it wasn't damaged. The product is cheaper than shit. It's pure junk, it's disgusting. The wood used on the inside of the drawers is disgusting ply wood that smells horrendous & gas left clothes smelling soooooooo bad. I had to paint all the ply wood inside with primer to get rid of the nasty smell. I'm so beyond disappointed how cheap the quality is, I'd understand if I was paying 50 bucks for the dressers or night stands but I'm not. Worst customer service ever. Bought a bedroom set in December and the dresser wasn't in yet. We were told it would be about a month. We said ok no worries. Just called and asked about our dresser (February) and was told they don't know when and if they'll have it in. I asked about returning the set and getting a new set. I was told sorry you only have seven days and the pieces are sold separately not as a set. I purchased furniture from living Spaces in arrowhead in 2016 and we also purchased the VIP warranty. One of the questions that we asked when purchasing the warranty was if this warranty covers cracks and tears. We were told yes it does and we have no problems with filing a claim. Now that I have issues with the furniture I am being told that the warranty company has changed and my issue is no longer covered. I purchased a living room set and after about 2 weeks I realized the couch arms were a bit low and it was a problem for my husband who suffers from MS. It was past the 7 day return but after speaking with Heather G and the the GM Johnny C. I was reassured that I could exchange the set for something of equal value. Two years ago in August we bought a $450 bookshelf from living spaces. This morning we heard a bang, the third shelf out of 4 broke, split apart because it was only glued. At the time of purchase we didn't buy an extended warranty, it's a bookshelf! Apparently, the quality of Living Spaces furniture is so poor that you even need an extended warranty for a bookshelf. I could see if it was an appliance! So of course they can't do anything...... And by the way, nothing heavy was sitting on the shelf that split apart. No "books", just some flowers laying on the shelf that weigh maybe one pound. So if you're in need of furniture, you may want to look elsewhere. The quality is beyond poor!!! read more

Bought a couch over 8 weeks ago. I understand the state of the pandemic and everything going on. We really needed the couch and we discussed how long it would take for the couch to ship out. The manager told us that it would take 5-6 weeks and not to read the part where it said 7-8 weeks. She even crossed it out. So we purchased the couch. Now here we are just over 8 weeks later with no couch. Every time I call it's over a 50 minute wait to speak to someone for them to let us know that it will be a few more weeks. At this point we still do not have a couch in our house. We were offered a $50 gift card or free install which is complete slap in the face. Multiple bad experiences have turned me away forever. A month ago I bought a new bed and they set up a pick up time for a week away. 30 minutes before the pick up time they call me to tell me the bed isn't in yet and they will let me know when I can go back. I had made arrangements to get a truck and I was already waiting near the store to pick it up. Finally I can pick up the bed a couple days later. I put the bed together and drawer that pulls out from the bed doesn't align correctly and sticks out on one side. I give them a second chance and order a dresser and two night stands. I call the day of the delivery to confirm they have all 3 pieces and they assure me they do. I again have to borrow a truck to get the items home. I get there to pick them up and the dresser isn't in. Where did it go in the hour that I called to confirm it was there? Great I have to go back the next day to get the dresser. I bring it home and the entire thing is broken. The top drawers aren't even and the left one doesn't open. The middle drawers fell out in the floor the second we opened the box. And the bottom drawer is crooked and doesn't open. I will NEVER buy from them again, expensive pieces of junk. read more

After waiting 14 weeks for a couch set and checking weekly after 8 weeks moving forward when promised the couch set was never even started. I heard so many excuses from customer service like "on the truck due to covid you will get it soon since in Cali" It was never on the truck or ever started so don't fall for that excuse. Basically, Living Spaces took all the money for the couch set upfront and I was paying interest on cc for the set and they never delivered. This company deserves no stars in my eyes. I finally got a full refund to my cc and went out to Scottsdale next day and bought a beautiful floor model from the Potato Barn which was delivered next day. 5th attempt at delivery for a bed that is part of a set = $3000+ I have already paid. This has been going on since 5/30/17. What a joke. Cal king on order...came dinged up...next day delivery for replacement & they came with part of it but realized it was an Eastern king so they took that back & said to have all dinged up pieces delivered at once. Talked with CS & they attempted again in Sat @ no add fee, headboard no rails, Sunday delivery came with rails no headboard & slats....its now 830pm & they call my cell as I am in Chicago & not my husband who has been home dealing with this all weekend long. No heads up call on 5/30...no call from management over these 5 attempts, no offer for some sort of gesture for the hours wasted on all the delivery windows & attempts. If this experience is any example of how they operate their warehouse & deliveries, DON'T BOTHER!!! Unless you have hours of time to waste, don't care about Q/A or have no regard for customer service, this is your store!! During my original call, they did not offer anything in return for their mistake about not having my product in the store during the schedule date for pickup (without any attempt to warn me in advance either). I had to ask the company to deliver and assemble the bed in exchange from them wasting my day preparing to pick up the bed. I don't have a truck so I shifted my work day around and borrowed a vehicle only to find out the bed wasn't there. Here we are a week later. I took a half day at work to be here for them to deliver and assemble the bed, and now they don't have the right parts to assemble it.
