I placed an order online. This was my second time ordering online, but I've been buying from living spaces for years. The item was shipped and said delivered. Was unable to locate item. Reached out to UPS and filed a claim. Also contacted Living Spaces. First time was via chat and sat on the chat for almost an hour. Closed it out and called customer service. I was told that they would reach out to UPS and give me a call back in 24hrs. Never received a call back. I gave the online chat another chance. I was on for 45min and closed it out because I couldn't hold any longer. I am very disappointed in Living Spaces. Will never buy again from Living Spaces! Placed order for bedroom furniture which included dresser and 2 night stands back in October. Day of delivery only received dresser and 1 nightstand. No communication from LS where my other nightstand was. I called same day and was told 1 night stand on back order(BO) for a couple of weeks. I called again in mid Nov again told on BO. In Dec I called again since no communication from LS and requested to speak to a mgr. Agent told me someone would contact me within 24-72 hours! On 3rd day didn't receive a call but instead an email stating item on BO and they had no date as to when they were getting. I may want to order something else. I waited in hopes item will come in. Yesterday Jan 12 I called and was told item no longer available! They will be canceling my order which I've paid for and waiting on since OCT! When I asked what compensation are they going to give me due to wait time, lack of acceptable communication from LS and most importantly now I have 1 nightstand and need another one that will not match rest of bedroom furniture... I was told I can get 10%discount on another item! Seriously how is this acceptable and how can they continue doing business like this? CS will respond with "I can email them details..." as I see here for others. I've wasted enough of my time on this company! If you receive an email from Living Spaces stating "Your WinWin certificate for x amount of dollars is ready to use" do yourself a favor and delete the email. I called the phone number and spoke to a nice lady to confirm that it was a legitimate email and that I wouldn't have to make a a purchase above and beyond the $134.25 amount of the gift certificate. She assured me the email was real and I received it because I never used the Care Free Plan I had purchased a few years ago when I bought furniture for my house there. Well, tonight I wasted my time by driving over to Living Spaces to use the certificate and when I got to the register with my items I was told I had to spend $268.50 in order to use the certificate! This was an infuriating experience. I bought a dresser for delivery, rearranged my entire schedule for their suggested 3-hour window, and they never showed up. When I called customer service, I was told they didn't even have the dresser in stock anymore and no one bothered to notify me! Shame on me for not reading these reviews before purchasing from living spaces. When we purchased our sofa we were told that when delivered it would be brought inside but they would not setup. That was an extra charge for the setup and removal of the packing material. I figured once its in the house I can take care of setup and removing the wrapping material. So today the couch arrives and I am on the phone so my old lady handles the delivery. I get off the phone and ask "where is the couch?" Oh, its outside. I am like what?? The salesman said they would bring inside but not setup. Apparently either the salesman lied of the delivery people are lazy AF. add this 1 star review to the list of bad reviews for this place. We went to living spaces today. The manager Matt and sales rep Kate were amazing!! We purchased a couch a few weeks ago and unfortunately the dimensions of the couch was too big for our stairwell/ Matt called Matt and his expert team was able to meet our living room needs. Kate knew we couldn't decide on the couch but asked us the most important question when me and my husband were unsure of a couch.."so what do we like about the couches we have seen." When we explained our likes, she directed us to "the couch." It was perfect. Everything we wanted and then some. The color, the depth, the pi tucking. It feels like a bed and has a nice elegant look. I'm really disappointed with the fact that I was delivered the couch and it looked to be in once solid piece. I sat on it and it disconnected. They never even hooked pieces together or tightened it. I'm suppose to go on vacation in a couple days. And they said it could take a week to send a technician out to fix it. They sold us an overpriced sofa. Once it arrived, the metal scratched our wood floors due to a cracked rubber support. After all this, two weeks later, they state we have to purchase a new rubber support from their warehouse. They damaged my floor by leaving a live metal stake to drive into our floor. The support piece cracked due to improper installation. They have the nerve to call us back saying we have to pay for their install mistake? Once I log in through my phone I will provide pictures. I purchased a few items in the La Mirada store including 2 mattresses. One was a queen for my daughter and a king for me. After 2 days with the king i couldn't sleep at all. Pain was unbearable. I went to the store and they told me that mattress was final sale. I was in disbelief. They don't stand behind their own products. No disclosure. Unethical behavior. Will never buy there again. I am currently going through a remodel and thought I'd stop by here to look at all the options. The moment I entered I was greeted and given directions on how to use their mobile system. I was blown away by all the options that are available since the last time I shopped for furniture which was almost ten years ago. There is different quality levels for all budgets. There is even the outlet center which houses former floor items and returns at a significant discount. They also have a children center that can house you kids while you shop. First, I want to mentioned that their Customer Service was very easy to reach, profession and nice. They did the best to their ability to try to help as much as they could. The table itself is also very sturdy and well built other than my issues with shipping and quality control. Secondly, I tried to post this on their product page, but I guess it was denied because of an honest review. So here I am. My horrible experience is with shipping of the product and their packaging. I bought the Gables dining set with 4 chair and the bench. It came promptly this morning in 4 big boxes sprawled out in my living room. No issues so far. Unpacked the table first and then found a chip in one of the pieces of the wood. Bummed out, called customer service and they stated they can do a replacement for the full table only but it will take couple days. I had this thing unpacked in my living room and I convinced myself the chip isn't that bad so I said nevermind, I'll just keep it and they said they would give me 10% off the table. I accepted. Bit frustrated, still I went on with opening up the rest of the table. Now I notice I'm missing some of the hardware to build the full table. Seriously... I called them again and they said open up the other boxes (meaning the chairs). Obviously, not going to be in an individually wrapped box for chairs. We hung up, I unpacked all the chairs and found no hardware for the table. All I found were hardware for the chairs. Called them again and they said they'll ship out new hardware which will take 7-10 days via UPS. I asked them to just replace the table then because it seems faster then the hardware. They stated they cannot replace the table now because they gave me the discount already. Can't even reverse that. SO OK! We hung up. I looked through the other hardware from the chairs which I used just to build the legs of the table so I can at least stand it up. Four hours pass now and I'm finishing up the 3rd chair. On my 4th chair I notice they sent me two RIGHT side stretcher (part of the legs) instead of a LEFT and RIGHT side. So I call them again! For the 4th time now... and they say they will send me one LEFT side piece in like 3-5 days via UPS. To conclude, The table looks great but I currently have a table with a wood chipped which I cannot fully setup because of no hardware, one chair in pieces, and a half built bench for about a week. Beware of the 10% restocking fee. It's non negotiable even for smaller items. Look elsewhere if not 1000% sure that you are taking home what you want. Color of items may change once outside in regular sunlight, size may not be accurate, etc. I suggest go elsewhere. Found what I wanted elsewhere for much less. read more

He was very helpful and made the process so easy and fun. My daughter needed a whole bedroom makeover. She found a bed frame someplace else but needed a mattress for it. We went to take look at bedroom furniture and mattresses. Didn't find furniture but we did buy a mattress. Most of the mattresses were nice but too thick for what she needed. Mario C. was very helpful. He first showed us very nice mattresses but when I realized how thick they were, he showed us another area where mattresses were thinner and better suited to her needs. He explained the differences between the comfort level and types. He was patient with my 10 year old and let her try out all types of mattresses to find her perfect fit. Thanks Mario C.!!!! We bought a sidebar and a dining room table with chairs. The day I received it the sidebar draw was warped. So I didn't accept it. The dining room table was so cheaply made I immediately sent it back too, along with the chairs. It was not the same quality that was in the showroom. They offered to send out another sidebar. I said ok, the second sidebar was warped also. So I didn't accept it either. They are now charging me a restocking fee. DO NOT BUY FROM LIVING SPACES (AKA UNLIVABLE SPACES) For the record, I tried posting a review on the Mercer Foam III 2 Piece 125" Sectional With Right Arm Facing Chaise on the Living Spaces site to warn potential buyers but Living Spaces "moderated" my review and refused to post it. I purchased a couch from Living Spaces in February. Since it was considered "special order" I waited over 2 months for it to be delivered. On the date of delivery, I saw that one of the couch legs was damaged. The couch I paid $2,000 for and waited over 2 months for was delivered with about an inch of wood chipped off on the corner of the front leg. The delivery man said he would put in a request for a replacement. He said he uploaded pictures of the damage and that I should expect a call within 1-2 days. After not receiving a call, I called a few days later and the Living Spaces representative said that the request was never inputted. The representative said they were supposed to send an email to upload the pictures and they would call and let me know when they would come replace the leg. Again, they said to expect a call within a few days. A few days passed, and I wasn't contacted by anyone so I called again and they said it still wasn't processed. They received the pictures but nothing was processed. The representative I spoke to sent sent a request to the department of repairs and said to expect a call to schedule a repair appointment. After a few days, I called again and the person said the request was sent to the wrong department and it should've been the parts department. The representative said I would be contacted by phone to schedule a time for the part to be delivered. Instead of being contacted by phone, I was emailed an automated message of a date and time of the repair. The appointment didn't work well with my schedule, but I kept the appointment because I didn't want to prolong the process. Living Spaces scheduled the appointment without my approval and then the driver never showed up. The online tracker said the part was delivered but it wasn't. I contacted the driver and he said that the part wasn't in stock. Why would they schedule a delivery then? I called customer service and they confirmed there was no part in stock and that I would be notified the following week of when the part would be in stock. The representative told me to expect a call from the warranty department to address the situation. I didn't receive any follow-up call. The next week, I called to check the status of the leg and the representative said it would take 4-6 weeks. I am being told inconsistent information at this point. Now it has been 6 weeks of waiting for a replacement leg for the couch and I have yet to know when it will be fixed. For 4 weeks following the date of delivery of my couch, I called Living Spaces every 3-4 days to be given the run-around by them. If you want to avoid the inconvenience of waiting over 2 months for your furniture to be delivered just to receive an unsatisfactory product and incompetent customer service then please avoid buying your furniture at Living Spaces. read more

Horrible service. The customer service phone line is of no use. My items were delivered on multiple days when in fact I specifically told them I wanted ONLY a ONE DAY delivery. I spoke to a customer service representative and they offered a 15% discount for the inconvenience and a week later I was told that the discount was not valid and that my account had no information on that call. It's ridiculous how this company treats its customers. I highly recommend purchasing furniture at another furniture retailer since Living Spaces cannot make its customers happy with the level of service and quality of products. No value in their products. However, my issue was resolved at the store with the Store Manager. He was very helpful in finding a solution to my issue. I ordered a bed foundation from Living Spaces online and paid $30 for indoor dropoff. In California, mattress/foundation dealers are required by law to provide free haul-away service for an old mattresses/foundation when delivering a new one. When Living Spaces delivered the package, they leaned it against my exterior wall and damaged my stucco. They tried to tell me the damage would "wash off". They then tried to leave the very heavy and expensive package on the porch, falsely claiming it was outdoor dropoff although I paid for, and had a receipt, for indoor dropoff. Finally, they left without collecting my old box spring. I contacted Living Spaces to complain and was told they'd get back to me in 3 days. I waited 7 days and then called to follow up. They told me my case was on file and they didn't know when someone would follow up. They also told me over the phone that they don't haul away box springs. Wrong- you're required to by state law! After waiting another 3 days, I finally had to file a complaint with the BBB just to get them to acknowledge me. After all of the terrible service, Living Spaces is refusing to do the right thing and haul away my box spring. read more

I'm not giving them my money so I cancelled. I thought it'd be easier if I picked up at this location but was wrong. I understand things don't revolve around me, but please be more transparent with your customers. You have no problem spamming me with promo emails and taking my money right away, but can't deliver the goods. The quality of showroom and items available are great but the reason for the 1 star is that I purchased over $5k worth of items and living spaces has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! It took me 1 month and 5 phone calls to get an item that was in the bulk of my items I purchased - I was constantly on the phone trying to track it down while everytime I called - every single person who pulled up the order didn't know about anything (no notes from previous call) and said they would get back to me but never did. I am still calling on a weekly basis I was misinformed on my delivery time of the couches for 4 weeks when it's been 6 weeks and they're saying they never said 4 weeks and that it takes 8-10 weeks for a couch to be delivered from the vendor. All they care about is making a sale and after that you're on your own. It's fine I was buying 1 item but I bought 15+ items and I'm wasting time tracking down the items I paid for constantly. I went in on April 1st and I am still making weekly phone calls - sometimes they leave me waiting for 20-30 mins and I end up hanging up because it's too long. Although we didn't buy any furniture this time around, we have purchased furniture here in the last when we first bought our home. Bought my bed and dining room set from here. On this visit we were looking for a nice sectional and there were several people that came by asking us if we needed help, we were told about the warranty and important details of a certain sectional we kept eyeing. You can tell the employees are not on commission because they weren't pushy. The warranty sounds like a great deal especially for the motion recliners with motors. The furniture seemed overpriced but it also seemed of great quality, so you get what you pay for. The clearance area had tons of furniture, most of which was nice. read more

I went in on May 13th I was told by the manager my couches were out of stock for two pieces but that they had a truck coming in the end of May and I was customer 18 and they had 20 coming in. Said I would have my order by June when I got my place. Now it's May 23rd. I call and now they're telling my till June 30th. If I wanted $1500 couches in July im sure I could have purchased elsewhere for that amount. All they worry about is getting the sell not their customers I'm beyond upset. I spent 45 minutes last night while waiting for them to find the price on a mirror that was in their clearance center. After speaking with 2 managers and 3 store employees, they told me that they would have to get their logistics team involved, as this item was so old it was no longer in their system. Now, anyone with a thinking brain would have just used an override key, and sold me the item at a fair price, but no, the wunderkinds have now spent more time trying to find the item and the price than the item itself would cost, AND the item is so old that it no longer exists in their system.
