BUYER BEWARE !!!! Daniels Home Center is an extremely DISHONEST and corrupt organization. I financed furniture and paid it off during their no interest for one year special and called to get the total to pay in full and specifically asked "Is this the final total?" And the representative said yes. Months later I see that they REPORTED ME TO CREDIT BUREAUS STATING I STILL OWED INTEREST. I told them I did not and paid the balance in full before the deadline. They insist I owe it even though I have proof I do not. They dropped my score 40 points and are now HARASSING me day and night on a debt I don't owe. Do not do business with these people. Then we got a great deal on chairs and ordered them. The delivery was just as good. The guys worked hard taking away our old loveseats and assembling for us. This place is a scam. Do not buy anything from Daniels homes center. The quality of display item is different than they delivered. I bought a sofa from them and I have to call the customer service within a week because it feels like sofa is 10 years old. They send a guy to inspect and he just took pictures and don't even want to feel the difference. How you will know the quality of foam if you don't sit down on couch. He keep refusing to sit down or feel it, he could have used his own plastic to lay over it. He just took the picture and left. When I contact the customer service she said " the technician said nothing wrong with sofa, we can't do anything". I was requesting her to give me the product that I paid for because this is not like the one you have on store. Her answer was "that's not my problem... do what you want I can't help you...". When I request for manger she said I'm the manger "do what you want I can't help you." I went in to purchase bedroom furniture weeks ago. Two weeks later a woman calls ME to tell me that she is not buying the bedroom set. What?! I call the store to straighten it out and the woman who answers says we need to get your references that's why we called. I said you never called me, I called you. I go to the store hoping then someone would listen to me. I speak to the manager. He listens, yet I solved the mysterious phone call myself. The lady who I received the phone call from, explains that my information was written on the back of the store information. He tells me that the employee is new instead of ensuring he would keep my information safe from now on. I'm not confident in this furniture store. The furniture may be of good quality, but protect your information at all cost. ***Update! It's been 3 weeks since that happened. Earlier this week a young woman calls to tell me the furniture I'm expecting and have been waiting on for well over a month, won't be delivered until Saturday. I'm annoyed, but what can I do? Covid has slowed down everything. Today is now Saturday I called the company to ask when it was coming. After about 10 minutes, I was told it would be here today after 3 pm. That's it! He didn't give me a window of time. The problem is I had to call them to ask when my furniture will be here. I don't want to be so critical, however, can they get something right? Absolutely terrible experience tonight(5/3/20 6:30pm) at this location. We came in specifically to buy a 5x7 $200 rug we saw last week. We had the money then, but we wanted to shop around elsewhere first and didn't have room in our car at the time. We never got the chance to shop around so we decided to come back here and get the expensive rug from this location. When we got here we were not greeted. We were just asked what we needed by a lady that was already assisting someone else. When we told her we came in for a rug and told her the exact model rug she looked extremely confused. She then just pointed the opposite end of the store and said, "look over there". We felt awkward interrupting her sales moment with her 2 customers she was assisting so we just walked away to go find the rug we saw last week. When we got to the rug, we found it but of course it was the floor sample. It's called a rug but for some reason they had it placed on top of one of their beds like a blanket. The lady finally did come back to us and ask if we found it and we showed it to her and she was preparing to take that exact rug that was a showroom piece and ring us up. I said hold on and asked for a brand new one but she said there was none. I asked if she could order one for us online then and she said she could not. She made zero attempt to even try, it was an automatic no. I finally asked if we could get a discount since we were being offerred an OPENED, USED, FLOOR SAMPLE, TOUCHED by God knows how many people rug that I would place in my home for FULL PRICE??? Hell no. She said "The rug is in good condition! We just put this here not too long ago..What's the problem?" Did I mention we're in the middle of a supposed contagious Pandemic and she asked me what is the problem while wearing a damn mask! She is wearing a MASK with hand sanitizer on deck but has the nerve to ask us what the problem is with buying a used, open rug that has been touched by hundreds or thousands of people for 200 HUNDRED DOLLARS full price? We wouldn't budge so she asked the guy standing behind her in Spanish and he didn't even have the respect to take his eyes off the computer and tell us no or explain why although he was 6 feet away. He told her no in Spanish and said God knows what else in Spanish to her which was also disrespectful because they knew we didn't speak Spanish. Please speak English to and in front of your customers. After that interaction we walked out and are so glad we did. I am not going to pay $200 for a used rug. Literally ANYWHERE else will give a discount if they have to sell an off the floor model. It's just common sense, you don't sell USED aka OPENED for the price of brand new. I am extremely disappointed because my family just purchased $3,000 sofas from here recently. I hope to God that they do not treat all customers this way. Not to pull the racist card, but the lady did not look interested in making a sale to us although she was happily helping the hispanic couple she was with. Cracking jokes in Spanish and laughing the entire time, but when it came to us she didn't even TRY to look up options. I don't even believe she looked up the inventory in the back or online. Please address this issue Daniel's, because your parking lot is ALWAYS empty. I PASS BY ALL OF THE TIME and It is ALWAYS a ghost town. I just do not understand why the day you had more than 2 customers in your store at once you decided to act like you were too good to service us. We will NOT be back. I found the actual Manufacturer of the rug we wanted and will buy directly from them, which will be WAY cheaper too since the prices are not marked up times a thousand like all of your products. Oh, let me not forget to add that when my family purchased the $3,000 sofas they were delayed twice the day of delivery and finally delivered at 1'oclock IN THE MORNING!!! Today I visited this store & was approached & greeted by Francisco. He was very helpful young man and when he didn't know an answer to my question, he quickly asked his supervisor and returned with a response. I decided to check out the Daniel's Home Center in Anaheim since they have a larger showroom. Although I found the same items there, the sales associates were less friendly or helpful so I went back to Francisco to give him my business. Not only did they have the items I wanted in stock, they'll be delivered this Saturday in time for our first family gathering in over a year and the check out process took less than 15 minutes. If I could give this company a zero-star I would. They had an advertisement a week before Memorial Day having a great deal on an appliance. I went in that day and was told no they're not in yet. I was told I was put on a waiting list and will be contacted when they arrive. I called back Memorial Day weekend. They still had not arrived I confirmed I was still on the waiting list and they would contact me. I called again this weekend and we're told they're still waiting for the shipment and I'm on the waiting list. They pulled out the waiting list and confirmed I was the first one on the list. He was very accommodating, I felt very at ease being able to ask him as many questions as I needed to make the decisions for my purchase and payment options. We came here to look for a bed because our old ikea bed broke after a recent move. When we got here it was pretty empty and all the sales guys were standing around but one lady named Patricia rushed from the back of the store to help us. She showed us all of our options for a queen bed with storage and dressers. We settled on a queen bed with no storage and a nice big dresser. She double checked the delivery dates and made sure everything was in stock for us. We had previously gone to bobs discount furniture and purchased a bed but cancelled it because it was taking months to arrive so we really needed her to check if we could get something quick. It was only a few business days wait to have it delivered and assembled. When the furniture arrived it was earlier than the expected delivery window which was amazing and it was quickly assembled. Overall the service was great and we are very happy at the moment with our purchase!! When we look to buy more furniture we will definitely come back and ask for help from Patricia! I was not impressed with the service provided upon coming to this store for the first time. I was looking for a new mattress and Eddie laid out the numbers for me. He was EXTREMELY pushy. I wanted to think about it, but he kept saying "Just put it on your debit card. It's easy, no problem." I understand that you're trying to sell to make money, but that's not how you do it. I walked away from the desk because I needed to think about the purchase and he approached me after a few minutes to follow up and I continued to say I needed to think about it, and he pushed something on top of a bed out of frustration and it was extremely unprofessional and rude. Recently bought furniture. Customer service is okay. The feeling I get from the sales people and from the rest of the staff is that they are only interested in you for the money. They also seem to slide over store policy that would negatively impact the consumer or not just mention it at all. All of these should not be a problem if you know what you want and know the price that you are willing to pay and know what you are getting from them. Terrible customer service!! Don't go to Nelson, he doesn't answer his phone or text. It took two days for him to respond. On top of that, only half our couch was delivered and only the chairs for the table. So I didn't get the table or the other half of my couch. I had to call Daniels 3 times to see where the rest of my order was, turns out it was back ordered. No one told us until we noticed during the delivery. Daniels then told us that it would be delivered by the 23rd. The 23rd comes and no one calls us so we have to call back AGAIN! They continue to say that the warehouse will call me tomorrow, the 24th. No one calls! So I called AGAIN, I was very upset at this time. Can you guess what they said?? They will call me back on the 26! While speaking to a sales person on the phone, I asked what I would get for this inconvenience and they said I could get store credit for the delivery. Store credit?!!! I don't want store credit because I will never go back to shop with them. So I basically got nothing! Everyone I talked to on the phone told me to talk to my sales person, Nelson. I purchased $2000 worth of furniture and part of that was a 6 piece bedroom set. The lamps that were sitting on top of the set did not get delivered. When I went back to pick up, the salesman said he just placed the lamps on top of the set "today" and they were not there when I purchased it. I then showed him proof with a picture and timestamp and he then said he forgot to add to my invoice and it was nothing he could do. Even after I showed him proof and after he verbally told me the two lamps were apart of the set when I purchased it on Monday. He wouldn't even apologize and offer to fix the issue. We were super excited looking for a drawer for my daughter's room. We found one which was at a really good price and the color we wanted. Patricia helped us out quickly . I made a quick purchase without a doubt and requested I would pick up the next day in the warehouse. She told me no problem we have four in stock just be there from 10-6pm.Next day comes my husband rents a truck to pick it up leaves work early and heads to the Anaheim warehouse location. To his surprise they do not have the drawer and they only have the mirror in stock . The person told him take it and head back to the show room in Cerritos and pick up the display . We don't know if we will even restock in this model.My husband was livid! I got on the phone with Patricia told her what happened she told me come by today and we can negotiate the price for the one on display or talk to the manager for a refund. Why would you tell me to negotiate pricing?? I don't need to negotiate with anyone on any price! It should come from you guys to give the customer a discount for the inconvenience we have gone through!So I made the decision to just go get my reimbursement.
