The entire process was easy. I had seen some loveseats online. I drove to the showroom and sat on them. I spoke to Kelly, who told us that the one we were looking at was low in stock. I ordered it the next day, picked my delivery date, and all the communication was top-notch. It was to be delivered to a senior living facility, but the delivery guys were very professional. I got charged for a piece of furniture I didn't order and a delivery fee when I have the receipt showing my delivery was comped for the other furniture that I actually purchased. I tried to fight it with my credit card company through synchrony living Spaces and they denied me even though I absolutely never bought that furniture (a footer for my bed) and I have actual paper copy proof that they told me the delivery was free. I bought a couch that had 2 peices in August of 2023. $900 each peice and bought the extended warranty. I had to have it changed out 4 times as the mechanics were not working right and the seats were sagging. Now 16 months later, and the peices i switched out aren't even a year old, it is doing the same. I filed a claim with Living Spaces and their 3rd party coverage twice and was denied both times. I call, you can't talk to anyone without the 3rd degree, you talk to someone who can't speak clear English and you can't get past them for a Manager. I finally get one and they told me to file a claim, again I DID they would not help me. Now on one side the mechanics are not working right. The furniture is clearly defective and with the extra coverage I paid over $2000 for a couch that you are sitting on the springs. They sold me a couch and took all my information and delivery address (delivery was to a condo downtown on the 26th floor) very clear in the address that it was in a condo. The delivery service gets to the building and says that they have told them before that they cannot deliver to this building. The manager of the delivery service got on the phone and said that they don't deliver above the 3rd floor! They also told me that they have told Living Spaces that they can't deliver couches to this building because of the hallways. Living Spaces charged me $400 to take the couch back!! Absolute scam company. Their sales people sell you a care free warranty. Which you will need because we all know we are buying cheap, poor quality furniture. But try to use that warranty and good luck. They should be under investigation. There is no accountability. They are telling me a tear on the back side on my sofa is normal wear and tear. We have had this sofa for barely a year. It's in good condition. How in the world is a tear on the back result of normal wear and tear. June 4, exactly 10 business days later which is when they must submit a response this is what was sent: We have reached out to management requesting a further review and will advise of the outcome once a response is received. Basically the same response as before. Is this a joke? On June 7 this is the response: After discussing the claim with our warranty manager, we were advised that the guest reported the sofa ripping from regular use. As there was no clear cause for the damage, the claim was determined to be the result of normal wear and tear. Given that the protection plan specifically covers accidents, the claim was denied as normal wear and tear falls outside of the coverage policy. After which bbb closed my complaint. Again normal wear and tear on the back of a sofa? I do not know how this year occurred. I don't stare at every piece of furniture in my house 24 hours a day just waiting for it to show damage. This place is a scam. I spent $6,000 at this store. I had a problem with the sales person telling me the adjustable bed frame came with two remotes and only one was delivered. They tried to get me to buy another one for $70 instead of making the situation right. Once they get your money, they are of ZERO assistance to any problems you may encounter with their products. They go out of their way to not be helpful. I had another problem where the mattress I purchased collapsed and the place that did the inspection noted the damage, but Living Spaces said it passed because the memory foam came back to form. I wasn't disputing the memory foam. The mattress simply collapsed due to defective coils in the side wall. I have been trying for over 3 months now to get them to do something about it. if something isn't done soon, I'll have to take them to court. My advice, stay far away from this place. They lie. They tell you over and over your delivery is scheduled and then they cancel it even after you call and verbally confirm. They offer to reschedule the same day and then offer to come set up your 4 year olds birthday bed set at midnight. I did edit this up to 3 as I went into the store to talk to them on why they kept cancelling. The managers I talked to did try to find out the issue and were willing to follow up. The cashier actually found out that the order was showing complete when in fact, one piece had been double booked to two orders. They don't know why or why the warehouse was not communicating the issue. So they kept rescheduling an order that would never be completed because no one else realized it was missing. If this had been communicated when they originally cancelled on the 5th while waiting on the chest, it all would have arrived at the same time and my child wouldn't be on a mattress on the floor. The managers did offer a discount on delivery, but at this point I did not trust the warehouse to ever communicate the problems. So we have scheduled for pick up. So the only reason this is not a one star, is because those in the store tried to do what they could to fix the issue. We ordered bedroom furniture and were told there was an extended lead time on one piece and they would hold the other pieces until the order was complete. OK, no issues at all. We realized that there was a floor model available and we visited the store to inquire if we could just purchase the floor model. Here is where their customer service failed. OK, how about a discount as A it is a floor model and B it is damaged. Response a hard No. We asked to escalate to a manager and here came the Living Space hammer. There will be no discount and oh you need to arrange for your own transport as we do not ship floor models. This would be an additional one hundred dollars. I am writing this review to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with Living Spaces. The experience I had with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare. On Sunday, I received a couch delivery, only to find that one piece was damaged. The delivery driver had me speak with a representative that assured me that the replacement would be delivered the next day, Monday. However, when I called to check the status, a representative had no information and said there would be no delivery. I then spoke to a supervisor who promised that the store would call me with an update. No one called. I called back 24 hours later and spoke to another representative at 3 PM, who assured me someone would call me that day. Once again, no one called. Today, I called again and spoke to a representative who was of no help. I asked to speak to Alex, the supervisor I had spoken to on Monday, but they initially lied, claiming they didn't know who Alex was and tried to dismiss me by saying they would email someone to reach out to me. After insisting on speaking to any supervisor, I was finally transferred to Alex who I was told didn't exist. When I spoke to Alex, he informed me that there was no status update on my order. The store supposedly submitted it, but there was no further information. I was told I might hear back next week, which means I have to wait over a week just to get any update. This level of incompetence, dishonesty, and lack of communication is unacceptable. BUT recently I finally needed to use my stain warranty on our couch. The WARRANTY is expensive by the way and we have kids so we got it. They spilled and I submitted a claim. DENIED. It's what the warranty is for. They loophole the crap out of the warranty and gave me some vague explanation as to why it was denied. The WARRANTY is a sham, a fraud, and an absolute waste of money. I had been renovating my spare bedroom after my father had moved out. I wanted to create something comfortable for future guests. Not knowing what to do, I stumbled onto this bed in the living spaces outlet. I was THRILLED at the price! There were a couple screws missing for the canopy but since it was already discounted I was happy to just find that I needed at Home Depot! No one could see it so who cares!?? I wanted to take it right away (because i like instant gratification and impatient) but it was already in the evening and the warehouse guy (Rob or Bob?)said I could pick it up first thing in the morning at 11:30am because there was a lot to take it apart. I was so pleasantly surprised they had everything wrapped up nicely in plastic wrap and everything was there, minus those couple screws at the top of the canopy. I don't know what the big issue is with this store, maybe I just got lucky? I saw some furniture I liked online, got approved for an ungodly amount, walked in the next day and completed my purchase within 30 minutes. Furniture arrived the next day and yes the dresser leg was damaged and I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size bed frame. I thought I had a Cali king and it was a regular king. Anywho, I got a replacement dresser the next day and they exchanged my bed frame, it was all very easy and drama free. Then I bought a mirror with my initial order and decided it was too big, I went in a day or two past my 7 days and Maria was super kind and did the exchange for me, hassle free. I've been in a GM in the furniture business before, with what some would consider high end retailers (JA and WS) in Beverly Hills of all places and I'd like to say damaged furniture is not uncommon. Things happen in transport, whether it's the delivery drive to your home, in a cargo container from the manufacturer, etc. it happens. But the speediness with which they handled the exchange was pretty impressive. Even the delivery drivers were all friendly. I'm happy with the service and the convenience, I'll be shopping here again. Pro tip- if you do experience issues- call customer service AND try the chat option on their website. It really made it easy for me because I'd get fast service and I was on queue with both so I could get the quickest response. read more

We bought a beautiful 5 piece custom couch for our new home here in Austin and we bought the extra "Care Free Plan" Provided by Uniters for $588.75. We filed two "Care Free" claims with their website www.warrantyservice.com and both were denied for tears to the stitching and other damage. The second claim after it was denied suggested to go to another third party(FSNPRO.com) and use their discount code "WS90" to get our furniture repaired by someone else!? It sounds likes this is a routine response for this "insurance". I called Living Spaces and told them what was happening with my ~$5k couch and they said there was nothing they could do to help, but they did let me know the procedure to get a refund for the Care Free "insurance" by sending a letter to Florida to request a refund. Well for the most part poor quality furniture. There are a couple of gems in the couches but you have to look methodically and hard to find it. If your cushions collapse in 3 months you did a bad job. I was there for the name brand matresses - where their buyers can't muck up the quality. They ran my credit and with a 800 plus credit score with 4% utilization I was declined for some unknown reason. After reading the reviews here it seems that was a blessing in disguise. I had a Magnolia Bed Frame delivered on Friday September 15. The bed was missing 2 screws, so they scheduled a rescue for that same day. The rescue team arrived at 10:00pm and the screws they brought did not fit the bed. I called the following day to schedule the next appointment and the customer service team did not provide a day for the rescue. I waited until Monday September 18 to call customer service. They informed me that a rescue was scheduled for that same day. When the team arrived Monday night at 9:30pm, once again the screws did not fit the bed. On Tuesday morning I called customer service, and they told me that they were going to replace the bed and the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday September 20. That day around 3:00pm I noticed that the truck was in front of my house, I went down the stairs and when I reached the front door they were gone. I checked the cameras to see when the team arrived, it turns out that they rang the doorbell once when I was in the bathroom. I immediately called customer service, and they said that the delivery had to be rescheduled. I had no problem with this since it was my fault that I didn't hear the doorbell, but then she told me that I might receive a charge for missing the delivery. I was fine with waiting until they fixed the bed, but to tell me that I was going to be charged for missing one doorbell ring when I've been patiently waiting for days for them to resolve an issue, that is their fault to begin with, is completely unacceptable. This was the 4th time that they come to my house for the same problem! Is Living Spaces going to pay me for wasting my time with the delivery of a damaged item and 2 late night rescue visits? How about all the time I've spent calling customer service? On Friday, I got a voicemail that PART of my order was still at another distribution warehouse across the country, and the OTHER PART was backordered with another six weeks to go. I ordered six weeks ahead of my delivery date, with a two week cushion on their available date and my delivery. I paid in full up front. It's completely unacceptable to get less than 24 hours notice that they were incapable of getting pieces through their distribution system in time and/or were unable to notify me of an additional backorder, ESPECIALLY since I checked my order/delivery status on Wednesday prior and everything showed as fine/on schedule. One star is being nice. I placed an order on May 22nd for a coffee table and an end table. I paid for the inside delivery of 39.99, which they did not do and when I opened the boxes I realized why. The coffee table marble top was cracked in two. The end table looked like it had been put together by a two-year-old. (never mind a two-year-old would have done better) Glue and wires were sticking out all over the place. I called the drivers right away to come back and pick it up, but they refused. We returned that same day to the store. I have now wasted hours and hours on the phone wanting to know where my refund is. Everyone on the phone tells me either there is a glitch, tech support has to take care of it, or there on two people working on it now. Each person swears they will get straighten it out, call me back but never do. It is now July 19 and today I was told he will pass it on to tech when I asked to speak to tech, wouldn't you know tech does not take phone calls. We bought a bedroom set and were given a delivery date and time. They had to reschedule the time (from 11:30 to 4:30). As soon as the delivery drivers got here they told us that One of the workers was allergic to dogs (we have 2). We told them that we could take the dogs out and they began bringing boxes in. As a note if interest, the worker who was supposably allergic to dogs showed no signs (sneezing, watery eyes, etc.). Then the driver told us that they couldn't assemble it because the store had not loaded the hardware onto the truck. We immediately called the store and they verified that the hardware had indeed been loaded into the truck, but by that time the delivery people had left. Now we are being told that it will be at least another 24-48 hours to get the hardware and an assembly team back to our house. I find this whole thing to be unacceptable as the delivery people obviously didn't want to do their job, which ended up costing my wife a medical appointment and now my retirement ceremony is in jeopardy dependent on when they decide to return. In the meantime we are stuck without a bed all because the delivery people did not want to do their job. read more

I fell in love with a mango wood media unit and after unboxing the delivery discovered a 2 foot crack front and center on top of the unit. I called customer service and was initially told they were going to have their technician come and "repair" our new unit. LOL After sending photos of the condition she clarified they'd need to swap the unit entirely. We then received a replacement the following day and after unboxing the replacement discovered broken shelves inside, cracks from nails, literal nail indents and massive chips of missing wood. I'm not sure who inspects this furniture but it's clear they're out to scam people. The replacement was literally worse than the first delivery. They offered to send a third replacement but honestly I'm not even sure the unit was made of real wood if it's damaged that easily. I requested a refund instead and it's taken over 2 weeks to get our money back. After calling for the 4th time today I was told we had been issued "store credit" with NO NOTICE. So basically my money has been sitting there I'm not even sure how that's legal. Now after finally being credited our original form of payment today we noticed we were also charged a $100 restock fee even though they sent TWO BROKEN units and had been assured we wouldn't be charged additionally for their errors. After my sixth interaction with Customer Service with me having to reach out to them as they never sent me an email with this information as promised, I come to find out that they won't be shipping or potentially having the item that I paid for in January that was 800+ dollars available for shipping until the end of May. This is completely unacceptable and this is not how you conduct business. This company ought to be ashamed of themselves for misleading customers into purchasing items that are supposed to be in storage within a reasonable amount of time, only to find out they won't be getting said purchased items until 6+ months later. It's a real bummer because we bought the dresser along with the bedframe as a set and had we known that we wouldn't be getting the dresser at all then we would have just purchased a different set. I should have just listened to the reviews here on Yelp from others instead of basing my review on my own past experience with Living Spaces. This company will never get my business again. Do NOT shop here, it's in your best interest. Lowering my review to 3 stars because I was promised a delivery of March 16th for my dresser that was on back order, even went as far as receiving a text confirmation of the delivery that day, only to be told that the vendor had not produced the item yet and that it wouldn't be delivered until the end of the month. My biggest pet peeve is being told and/or promised to receive something on a certain date when it's not even remotely true. The first delivery also produced a text confirmation but had provided a secondary text telling me about the specific timeframe to expect the bed frame. This time around there was no secondary text (even though there was even an email confirmation that the dresser was being delivered on 3/16), which is why I called customer service to inquire about the timeframe for the delivery. I'm glad I did because I may have been stuck waiting around all day, only to find out that the delivery actually wasn't coming on the confirmed delivery date. I've actually been waiting for this dresser for well over a month since purchasing because it had been on back order, but had even had multiple phone conversations with customer service confirming 3/16 as the delivery date. It's overall frustrating to have multiple communications (email, text, and phone) to be lied to about the delivery date... just bad business practices! While I did enjoy my shopping experience here, I now see why all of the other reviews are so bad. I may update this when the dresser actually is delivered but if I have to wait any longer than the end of the month, I'll be livid. read more

ZERO STARS. The people who work in the store were nice and very helpful. The online customer service is THE WORST. I ended up having to cancel my order (and pay a ridiculous fee) because they have incompetent people who deal with COI. Literally idiots. read more
