We purchased a couch that was final sale and could not be delivered, that isn't a problem. Our purchase experience was ok- our pick up experience was absolutely TERRIBLE. It took over 45 minutes to load the couch into our truck and trailer and then when it was our turn we had to help them load it which doesn't make much sense to me. It was wrapped ok and this is our main issue. Wrapping obviously wasn't up to standard as we only had a 13 minute drive home and we had to pull over 3 times, drive with hazards on etc because the wrapping was flying EVERYWHERE! It was flying around so much it was no longer wrapped around our couch. When we arrived home, the entire black underlying got ripped off, there were 2 stains that appeared because the couch was not wrapped anymore and it started raining so it got wet. Very very frustrating to spend over $2000 on a brand new couch that we had to load and unload by ourselves and now needs to be fixed. Horrible. When I checked the status online it was always "in progress." I went to the store to inquire & they were clueless- I finally got my couch on Tuesday. The delivery guys set it just inside the door, which is policy unless you spend additional $... who cares that I waiting almost 3 months for this thing! After unwrapping it & putting the feet on i was able to really look at craftsmanship- shoddy! Staples on fabric, chipped feet, small hole in a corner, etc. Wrong decorative pillows & missing 2! I really wanted to like living spaces. The sales associates were super nice and great. I went in with a large budget but everything I wanted was a 12 week waiting item. I settled for something a little less. The couch came in lumpy and defective. Crew putting it together was nice. Couch was not. Scheduled a return immediately. They never showed up. I left town came back. Scheduled again finally they came. They charge you $99 to deliver and then if you hate it. They charge you $99 to pick up plus a restocking fee of 10%. I couldn't wrap my head around spending hundreds on a shitty couch I'm not keeping. I called the management. After about 3 tries each an hour wait throughout the week I finally got Some Sassy guy who was of zero help. I was kind and didn't want to be rude but I was straight up a bout how defective this couch was and the 10% restocking should be void because no one would be happy with this product. I would feel bad for anyone else having to receive it or go through this. On the other side. Way fair was quick amazing and got me a couch in 2 weeks. I recently purchased furniture from Living Spaces (2 end tables, coffee table, sofa table, couch, 2 lamps). I visited a total of 3 times. I appreciate that they are enforcing social distancing, taking temperatures, and providing hand sanitizer. I felt much safer as a result. I really love the selection of styles and price points. I have been on a hunt for MCM furniture that didn't cost a million buck and I found it here. One thing that I really appreciated is that the salespeople are not pushy at all. On my first trip I scoped out the furniture and noted what I liked. On my second trip I ordered the furniture. It was all shipped to me a few weeks later. I chose not to add assembly for $100. If I could go back I would have. Not because it hard to put together, but because of the amount of boxes and packing materials that I ended up with. It would have been worth it to me just to have someone dispose of all of it. The coffee table arrived damaged. I called on a Tuesday and received the replacement by Friday. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any hardware with the replacement coffee table. We then made a 3rd trip to pick up the missing hardware. All in all it was a good experience. UPDATE: The couch finally arrived. There is one huge problem though. The pillows on the couch are dangerous. My husband, our 11 month old, and myself have been cut by the zippers and bled. Please see the pictures I shared. The zippers have two literal spikes on them. Why?! Who designed this?! Absolutely done with this place!!! We have spent thousands on furniture and they couldn't care less. We ordered from them in December 2021 and then again in December 2022. I will admit the piece of furniture we bought in 2021 arrived with issues. However, we gave LS another chance because they were the only place around here offering the couch layout and color we wanted. They guaranteed a delivery time of 12/28-1/14. Well, for whatever reason these jokers pushed it out to 1/25-2/8. We have guests coming over in a few days and they will have NO WHERE TO SIT. Now I'm forced to spend close to $300 to rent chairs!!! When we got home I tried to order the same mattress and it said we would get WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY! The problem s the sales people at the store DO NOT work on commission and they are CLUELESS!!!!!!! UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE: GOOD news!!! I actually received a response email from Living Spaces. They advised they had reviewed my claim and gave me credit for all 4 chairs. Of course, it was store credit, but at least they acknowledged the chairs were damaged. I managed to find four chairs to match my table. When I checked out, the girl was very helpful, immediately found the credit and the transaction was very smooth. AND on top of it, they even credited me for the warranty I'd paid on the chairs. So, I've changed my rating to 3 stars. I would rather not have gone through any of this, but at least in the end Living Spaces did the right thing. Do NOT buy anything from Living Spaces. And if you do decide to take the leap, do not waste your money on their warranty because it's a scam. I bought a dining room table and 4 chairs two years ago. The chairs were fabric bottoms and have sunk down. One is sunken down so much it's ripped underneath and they denied the claim, saying it was "normal" wear and tear. Excuse me, but I think chairs should last longer than 2 years and if they are ripped, that is NOT wear and tear. Mind you I have no small children using these chairs. Myself and 2 other young adults who certainly know how to sit in a chair. They are useless. I will NEVER shop at another Living Spaces again. You get what you pay for. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT : due to their "policy" this company is not correcting an error that they made themselves, because of an error made by an associate at their store. Long story here but buckle up. Had a decent in store experience, but that is not what I am reviewing here. We purchased a dining room set and chairs, a tv console, a leather couch and armchair, two end tables, an entire bedroom set including an expensive new mattress, dresser, bed frame, two night stands. I am so unbelievably angry that I've purchased all of this from them and will never shop at this store again. You'll soon see why. The first delivery came off relatively nicely. Most furniture arrived except for the back ordered bed frame and back ordered couch, which were due to get back into stock about 6wks later. Apart from a few minor scuffs and chips (totally understandable) it went great. The delivery guys said to go ahead and put the box spring on the floor and the mattress on it and sleep there till the bed frame arrived. No problem. The second delivery, which was about a month later, however was a complete nightmare. The large leather couch arrived with a big white splotch on it in the center of the sofa back, which was very visible. Not only did the delivery team not bring it to our attention, they actually moved a throw pillow in front of it to hide it. We didn't discover this until after they had left. Then they started to set up our bed frame. All of a sudden you just hear the drill go "KERCHUNK KERCHUNK" and the delivery team let us know as best as they could that they could not finish assembling the bed, and couldn't fix what they had done. They needed to send somebody else out. I had to call LS again and they rescheduled for a week later. When they did arrive a week later (and me not being able to sleep in my own bedroom during that time) they let me know that the company had sent the wrong rails for the bed, so the bed could not be built. This time the team sent photos to LS and told me they would call to schedule another delivery to fix the error. Hours had gone by, and nobody had called. Finally I called and asked them what was going on and to see if they could send out the correct parts. They advised that the bed was out of stock again and wouldn't be available until March. I asked them to collect the bed frame parts that were taking up my whole bedroom so we could use it again. They were able to send somebody out that day. Now, this week they sent another delivery team out to deliver and install the bed again. They installed the bed but it seemed shockingly tall. I looked at the website and it turns out that this bed did not need a "foundation" (box spring). If I had made this purchase online, I would not have purchased a box spring, but since we purchased it in store, we asked the associate if we needed a box spring and she advised that we DID. In fact she asked if we wanted a "traditional" box spring or one of the newer, lower profile ones and I opted for that because I wanted this bed to be lower. Anyway, after calling back 3x again today, somebody from the store, the Supervisor of Operations allegedly, told me that "unfortunately due to the bedding policy we would not be able to offer a refund or exchange for any bedding." Really? For something that we were misled to believe we needed. And will never use. So now we have two very expensive and huge paperweights sitting in our garage that I have paid for unnecessarily, will never use, and now need to get rid of somehow. They offered me a "discount" on the box springs. When I asked the supervisor for the corporate phone number so I could talk to someone else, I was given the main line 1-877 number, the one I had already called twice and got put on hold twice, and once the call got dropped when they put me on hold. I truly cannot believe that they refuse to rectify an error made by one of their own employees, especially after having sent a couch with a giant flaw on it (and their delivery partners deceptively hiding it), and 4 scheduled delivery/ installation visits over a 2 month timeframe for a product that should have been correct the first time. See photos. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. This was a huge purchase for a new home that we were excited about. If they can't make this right I will seriously reconsider shopping there ever again, and also recommend to every friend who will listen that they do the same. Very disappointing. read more

Mrs. Texas found what she liked, it was in stock, and they could deliver today, which they did. The delivery guys were super friendly and professional, and they even took off their shoes before entering. We rarely use the table and recently while picking something up from the floor realized that there is mold growing everywhere on the underside of the dining set. When it arrived for us to assemble we noticed no mold whatsoever. There is no mold anywhere else in my entire house. Only on this dining set. After speaking to multiple mold companies- they all suspected the dining set had been exposed to moisture prior to arriving to our house, and as it has had time- the mold has had time to come out of the furniture. Living spaces responded to my claim saying they cannot retrieve the furniture because it would put their team members in an unsafe position. They clearly value their own over their millions of customers! I will be taking extreme action on this. I have a 3 year old in my home who I pray has not been health compromised. Two hours into our delivery window on the 12th, we were told our couch was still in California (even called on the 11th and was told the delivery was all good to go). let me start by saying this is a review for the company and products, not the store specifically. I really wish I could recommend Living Spaces after spending nearly 10k with them, but it's just not worth the time, money, or stress. Our first order was over 4k and was expected to take some time because we ordered a custom color on our couch, however it was late beyond the extra time we accounted for. And some items were not custom, so it was disappointing to wait several months for our order to arrive, only to find the coffee table was damaged. Mistakes happen, whatever, so I contact their customer service for a replacement. Had to wait hours for someone to respond, upload photos of the damage, and wait over 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive. We paid for full service delivery and did not get that when they brought the replacement, so my pregnant ass had to help lift this upstairs with my husband and discard of the enormous box and packaging, despite paying $139 for this service. Then come to find out our replacement is also damaged, in the same way the first one was AND a major crack in the wood, cracked all the way through. And what does customer service offer us? 10% off... hopefully our TWO couches hold up better than this coffee table has because the prices indicate this is better quality furniture than it actually is. UPDATE: Updated from 1 star to 3, after having someone other than Foli chime in on the issue, I feel a lot better despite having a bad experience with the coffee table and delivery. Her knowledge of the inventory and fabrics was extremely useful. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision, and felt very well informed by the end of our shopping trip. Turnaround time was extremely quick, we ordered a 3 piece sofa and a dresser and they arrived next day. These items were available in the warehouse so no shipping delays or anything. Delivery process was super painless (we opted for full service delivery for $99) , the delivery guys came in, brought and unpacked the items, and left. This review is for the store/delivery, not the furniture, as I have only had my sofa for 2 weeks: The layout at Living Spaces is extremely helpful and thoughtful! The space is divided well and the staging helps one visualize the furniture in a home. The staff is also helpful as well. I was walking around feeling helpless (I'm indecisive and there was a lot more than I expected) and several young ladies checked on me throughout my visit (Jasmine, Alicia and Brooke...Jennifer? Heck something). They did not try to pressure me to buy, offered free coffee and let me take my time. Finally I made a decision and had a smooth checkout. Before leaving I tried out an impressive bed frame. I want it! Due to high orders my order came about 2 days after but they came at the top of the time range. The delivery crew were sweet and respectful of keeping my place clean as they unpacked and setup and cleaned up when they were ready to leave. Very fast setup! read more

I was at an appointment earlier today when I got a call from my wife stating that for the second time Living Spaces delivery team showed up and didn't have everything they were supposed to for the bed we purchased for my son's birthday. Would you believe that ALL four other people in the meeting I was in have had negative experiences with Living Spaces? I think it's safe to say that there is a big disconnect between the showroom floor where you purchase the items and the warehouse that fills the orders for delivery. This company really needs to get their stuff together if they even care to. It is really a consistent bad experience for the customer. I looked all around for a couch (it's a big place). After deciding on a couch and an end table, I was told by the salesperson that there were none in stock nor was it known when it may ever be again. I offered to purchase the floor model but was refused because the couch was still an "active item". Can someone tell me how it makes sense to have an item on the floor that you cannot sell and do not know when you ever will be able to?! And you want me to pay for that now?! Not my first bad experience here but we gave them another chance and it's another fail. La-Z-boy owes this place a big thank you as I think it's the second time we have moved on from LS and eventually bought at LZB. read more

We bought a table two years ago with Living Spaces and paid for the 5 year warranty. That is a Joke. Our table got damaged during our move and the warranty department will not cover it. The warranty customer service lady name Lauren, who I was on the phone with was so rude I asked for a supervisor. I hope a supervisor can override this.
