Absolutely horrible costumer service and sales. This company should shut down honestly. This is the worst experience I've ever gone through with a company in general. Couch that I ordered, arrived 10 weeks after order time due to it being a special order, arrived damaged. Exchanged the item for another , waited 10 weeks and now it's damaged again. It's been 2 weeks since my delivery date and I have not been able to get a straight answer or update on my couch. This is absolutely horrendous. You all should re-evaluate your "costumer service" and the companies you partner with such as XPO. Which in fact per living spaces is "unreachable" at the moment..... maybe you should contract with a different delivery company then????? Just a thought. Horrible company. In a hurry to get your furniture? Want customer service that is well-informed and helpful? Looking to relax on your couch that you purchased after spending hours trying them out? If so then DON'T GO TO LIVING SPACES! To be fair we went to the store which has an extensive collection and sales representatives working to help with your decision making. However after all of their support in purchasing the couch, here I am almost 3 weeks later sitting on wood floors in my house without the couch. We were told 2 weeks for our order to arrive, after 2 weeks past I made several phone calls inquiring about our couch we still have no couch, no timeline for the couch and no information about the couch. Instead you get well-scripted responses about a third party vendor, that they unfortunately don't have any information, they are unable to contact the vendor... basically that they don't know when you will get your couch and they don't care!! But surprisingly they were able to take our $3,000 plus delivery fees immediately!! We have just moved into our new home, I'm one week away from having our second baby and want nothing more than to have a couch for my family and I to sit and relax on! We went to Living Spaces in hopes to fulfill those wishes, instead we paid them money with currently nothing in return. The most recent response from their management team was that we can apply for a refund after a month. Do better than that! Expedite my order, give me a temporary couch, tell me specially how much longer, call the vendor and get a timeline, do something other than tell me you don't know anything! I had purchased a mattress half a year ago, and three months after that, the mattress began to sag. I called them and they told me to get a technical inspection, which $99, and I agreed. After the check, the inspectors said there was indeed a ONE INCH SAG, and asked me to talk to the warranty department. I called the warranty department about five times, and I talked to four different people, but they all asked me to wait. Finally, one told me that THERE WAS NO DEFECT. The furniture is so poorly made. Bed was under warranty and they sent out guys to fix it twice. Both time brought the wrong items to fix it. Despite sending pictures of what was broken. They finally agreed to replace the entire bed. Supposed to be delivered 7/28. Received a text with the delivery time an all. Then got an email late saying they don't have the bed yet. Spoke to Supervisor Edith who was at home with a loud fan blowing on her and her cell phone ringing in the background .....I would steer clear of this place. We looked all around at Ashley's, Jerome's and other furniture stores. We ultimately came back to Living Spaces because the price was good (without having to negotiate) and it was high quality. Please, try not to buy expensive products or expensive mattress from living spaces!! Guarantee You will be given the runaround! I bought a mattress in feb/2018 and the stitching from the side opened up, probably because of the adjustable bed I bought.. i contact them one month ago and was told to send picture to see if it qualifies for an inspector to inspect the mattress. But first i had to pay $100 deductible and i will be contacted within 4 business days to schedule an appointment, really? Now the tear is getting bigger!!! Still waiting for an inspector to contact me...I've only had the mattress almost 7 months when the tear happened, still paying for the mattress, now what made me furious is that i called them today and was told they have been trying to contact me in October 10, WHAT?? I went about a month ago to look at couches as a preview because my husband does not like to browse or price shop. Went 2 weeks ago and after sitting on a few couches selected 1 we both liked; 1 magnolia sofa, love seat and a modern recliner. We made sure all were in stock before ordering. Ordered on a Saturday and they said delivery could be as early as the following Monday but opted for Saturday when we would be home. Delivery was as promised and quick. We are happy with the items as they were reasonably priced in comparison to more expensive stores and delivery was quick I didn't look at Yelp before our purchase and glad I didn't cause there are a lot of 1 star reviews. I called their customer service multiple times and said needs to re deliver... guess what almost 200 usd for another delivery date. I even paid too just to cancel my order. Once we found Living Spaces we were so happy. We bought a queen size mechanical bed, a extra large sofa with a pull out queen bed, a dining table with 6 chairs, and a sofa for our quest room that pulls out to a queen bed, as well as taking our adult kids here to furnish their homes. The problem began when we our sofa bed broke after one use. That was the week of Christmas!! We had to take photos if the problem, that somehow never made it to customer service. Eleven photos were just lost. Thankfully we went into the store, went to Customer Service. Up loaded our 11 photos again. Finally a few days later a guy came out. He never saw the photos. He never opened the sofa, told us it was some part, and that it would come in the mail. REALLY? WE STILL HAVENT RECEIVED IT. No one follows you around trying to Up Sell, you can take your time and browse as long as you wish without any interruption from sales people. There is so much of everything to make your home simply beautiful with all the latest styles and colors. However when you do need help anyone on the floor is more than happy too help you and spend as much time with you as you need, you never feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything. They do not get upset if you have them ring up an order and then change your mind, that is so COOL, this place provides the nicest customer service around #tbt They have many departments including a kids department, lots and lots of pillows, rugs, rugs, rugs soooo many too choose from it becomes a bit confusing. I could not believe some of the pricing. You can buy one chair or as many as you wish, one table, it's so nice that you do not have to buy items in sets, you may purchase as few of an item as you wish, love that! The show room areas are set up to give you ideas on how to decorate any room in your home, with colors and accessories. They deliver for a reasonable fee which can include them removing your old furniture, they offer warranties on their furniture and it is very affordable. They offer lots of options on almost everything and one can choose the window of time you would like to have your furniture delivered. We were really happy with our delivery people, LADIES, can you believe they have WOMEN delivery persons as well as men of course. We had a girl and a guy and they were the absolute BOMB, so friendly and helpful and they called when they were in the area to make sure we were okay with that time. Maria and Miguel were our delivery people and they were a pleasure to work with and they really know how too handle your items, no mess, no breakage and in a timely manner, Kudo's to them, they are a great team. I never comment on yelp, but I want to make sure other buyers are aware of what happens when you buy their poor quality furniture. We bought a couch from them, and within two years, it started to crack and peel. I had bought the warranty and thought they would be able to help. No, neither the warrant or the company will help. I am so frustrated with Living Spaces and their "care free plan". I purchased a reclining sectional with chair in 2021. The items were delivered on July 15th, 2021. Not even 6 weeks passed, and the fabric began to pill. I reached out to the company, and they said there was nothing I could do since it was "wear and tear". Wear and tear?????? After 6 weeks????? The agent continued to advise me to use a fabric shaver and scotch guard. I refused to do this since it would void the warranty. Then the agent basically said, "Oh well." I tried multiple times to get help with this set, but no one is willing to do anything. They just keep giving me the runaround. Customer service is a joke. I know that I am not the only one having issues with this set. I am so frustrated that I spent over $3500 on this set and purchased the care free plan, and NOTHING is being done. I just keep getting the "it's wear and tear" bs. A new couch should not show wear and tear after such a short period of time. Now it is almost 2 years, and my couch looks like it is 15 years old. I live by myself and work and go to school, so it's not like I am on the couch all day long. Now, when I see this ugly crap I get so irritated! This is THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!!! Update 2: Got the bed, same delivery men as last time... My husband had a word with them, showed them the disastrous assembly from last time and it seems like they built the bed by the book, fingers crossed... On the down side, the delivery men broke the exit sign in my building -_-.... Just in case anyone goes through this, the movers/assemblers are from a third party as well as the property damage insurance. It was easy to get the claim processed through living spaces however the follow through by living spaces and the property damage insurance wasn't great, a week passed and I had no idea what was going on. I still don't know what happened, many of the living spaces representatives that we spoke to didn't really know how to handle our claim; some said it had been approved and they didn't know why we handnt received a call back and others were quick to promise a call back from a manager (that never called us BTW... ). In the end we came to find out that the third party insurance wasn't responding and only managers "may" have an extension to reach them (very reassuring ... ) I had almost lost hope, that is until this last time when a representative by the name of Elizabeth and her supervisor Rene finally came up with a solution( after about 2 weeks of back and forth with living spaces warranty dept as a whole). In the end they came up with a suitable solution despite lack of follow through by property damage insurance company. No results on trying to get the matching nightstands, and I guess I get why they couldn't help with that, not thrilled but it is what it is. Overall I would say my experience at the store was fine and my experience with corporate was a headache except when Elizabeth and her manager Rene took care of us. I would love to give Living Spaces 4 stars, but after all of this hassle I'm not sure if I would say "Yay. I am a fan." Pros: Nice furniture if assembled correctly. Relaxing shopping experience. Easy financing. Great customer service in the store. Cons: ASSEMBLY and DELIVERY. UPDATE: Went into Living spaces and was taken care of. Javier was receptive and very helpful . He helped us get the best replacement at a comparable price (slightly higher but bed comes with storage so it's ok). The product specialist Alida was awesome, she empathized and heard me out ... I really appreciate that. Still not happy with living spaces delivery and assembly as they're responsible for for this mess. It's my understanding that living spaces uses a third party company to deliver and assemble. Word of advice make sure you supervise diligently while they're assembling. Also, get in there and check thoroughly after they build and make sure the correct materials are used. I'm also not completely satisfied that the store and warranty were unable to do anything about the nightstands. I'll have to deal with that battle with the warranty company or Living Spaces Corporate. Bed is coming tomorrow, haven't received a text yet to narrow down the time ... let's see what surprises come next . I'll try to be optimistic ... Possible update to come . ***************************************************** Initially I was ecstatic when I found the perfect bed and night stands. Sales people were friendly and the delivery was timely , they even assembled my bed, why one star rating you may ask? First , the quality of the product.... not the best apparently. I purchased the bed in September 2018 and we are are now in February 2019 ... and to my disappointment one of the support beams (one of the 7 foot piece of wood running vertically across the bed to provide support) was cracked due to the little support legs that had fallen off; it appeared as though they where about an inch too high from the floor... Still trying to be optimistic , I remember I have a warranty and call in the claim. Turns out they'll give me credit for the bed however, my bed is no longer in stock... AND I have to dispose of the old bed myself because they don't dispose or pick up . Mind you I'm in the city ,in a condo on an upper level... not ideal ... Further, my matching night stands are not covered in the warranty and I'll have to figure out what to do with those as well... More money down the drain. Anyway , as I begin to take apart the bed I notice the hack job the assemblers did on the assembly of the bed. It's no wonder the bed didn't last! Crappy materials built in a half assed manner , just horrible workmanship. Missing screws , forced screws, just a mess. And there's no way I would've been able to tell they did such a crappy job without having taken apart the bed myself. What's worse , what I thought was a quality wood bed (as the sales person assured me) turns out to be made out of cheap compressed wood ! I'm livid. Still sorting out this issue with living spaces. Deceptive practices. 6 years ago my wife and I purchased furniture for our new home. A kitchen table, bench and chairs, stool chairs for the island and 2 couches. The sales person asked if we'd like the warranty plan for the couches - we could get a service for the couches to clean them and if we didn't use the service, we'd get the money back after a 5 year period. I was skeptical and asked the sales person several times if this was a credit back to use at the store or the actual money back. He insisted, each time I asked, that we'd get the cash back if we didn't use it. 5 years later, we didn't use it and received an email with a CREDIT (as I suspected) for the additional $312 we spent on the warranties. I wasn't happy at all, and partially blamed myself for not reading the contract fine print and taking the sales person at his word, but at this point, we've now had two kids and were considering more furniture for the house. I didn't read through the entire email...because I have two toddlers who don't give me more than 3 minutes to myself to read any emails. When we finally got the time to return to Living Spaces to buy, I pull the email codes back up so I can use the warranty reimbursement - only to find out we needed to use it within 60 days or it's void. What an absolutely horrible business practice. To lie to customers, keep money for 5 years then only allow a 2 month window to use it. We were looking for a bunk bed for the kids, bench for in front of our bed and new dresser. Do not buy the warranty! Or from this company. Worst customer service ever! We bought an expensive leather sectional including the 5-year warranty after the salesperson told us that it covers anything and everything, even wear and tear for the leather fabric. A verbal contract. The recliner broke so we submitted a claim in August 2023. The tech came and took apart the motor for the recliner and then put it back together, he was very rude and then said he had to order parts. Then it fell apart with a loud bang as it hit the floor. After the parts came, 3 months later, another tech merely looked at the couch and said he needed to order more parts. After 2 tech visits and parts delivered to my house, 7 months later, I received notification that my claim is not covered. I didn't receive a call and only found out when I checked online. I am left with a broken recliner and unused parts and no explanation on what to do with the parts. read more

I ordered a custom sectional and it arrived with a cushion with the wrong shape. They told me they would expedite the replacement cushion and it should be delivered directly to me ASAP. A month later and several frustrating phone calls, they said expedited means 4-6 weeks. It took only 3 weeks to custom make the entire couch! I have yet to receive the part- now I just hope the replacement will be correct! I have little faith in their company right now Update- I get an email notification that the replacement cushion for the one that is defective is now at the Rialto store and that I need to contact them directly. The mirror has not been moved since it was delivered. No one has touched the mirror . There is now a crack that is moving across the mirror. Living spaces won't exchange because its past 7 days. . Your overworked staff in your stores don't provide enough help and so customers like me fall back on ordering from website which should be easy. But, it's not. I paid for delivery/installation which wasn't completed as scheduled because pieces were forgotten. I can understand that things happen... But, then your Customer Service provided me a new delivery/installation time for completing my furniture and no one showed up. I had to call the next day to reschedule AGAIN and your third party vendor showed up at 10:30pm to noisily and sloppily assemble a KIDS BEDROOM set. I wasted valuable hours on cheap furniture. P.S. This company is a complete scam. We ordered a sectional sofa the first week in December. Every time I call, I receive a completely different, inaccurate date for delivery. Dates ranged from February 6th to now April 2nd. The company does not provide any proactive communication to customers. They will take your money and leave you hanging for months on end.
