Jody Pogue [audiologist] and her staff are truly AMAZING and EXCEPTIONAL!! I came in initially for ear molds for my Aviom (stage) musician ears. Jody was extremely professional and personal! (I had been to another audiologist in town for an estimate and she was so snippy and rude - made me elated to find Jody.) She was willing to work through several road blocks to get my molds precisely and custom fitted! She even contacted the ear bud company again on my behalf after the fitting. Then, my mother needed a hearing test and ultimately hearing aids. Jody's genuine care for this season of mom's life and her straight shooting with compassion are impeccable! You will not find a better human being and professional audiologist on the planet! I have had various chronic ear issues going all the way back to 1960(!!), and so I have had quite a…read morenumber of ENT patient-physician. Since most of the issues are conditions I just have to live with, I have in recent years treated myself with OTC remedies and such. But the issues finally piled up to the point that I needed to see an ENT. My previous ENT, who was wonderful, had become so busy, I would't be able to get in to see him for almost three months. So I have begun looking for someone with a more open schedule. I read about Dr. Wyatt and saw good things written about him, so I checked with my PCP and he referred me to him, got me in in about two weeks and today was my big day. I filled out the paperwork in about 25 minutes, which was the most detailed I remember ever seeing, and went to the office , arriving about 15 minutes early. Upon checking in, I was given two additional forms by the receptionist, which had to do with several unscheduled procedures that might have to be performed during any given visit if the doctor considered them medically necessary. I was instructed to authorize the doctor to perform these procedures before I had even met him. When I asked the receptionist if that was their usual protocol, she said, I'm sorry, but you were here just fifteen minutes before your appointment. We don't have time for questions like this right now. We will have to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you want discussions about things like that. I was taken aback, but I really wanted to be seen, so I took a little bit different line of questioning and said, "Well, could you at least give me a ballpark figure about what these procedures might cost me (after Medicare and BC/BS)? I don't feel comfortable authorizing charges for unknown procedures when the staff cannot even estimate what the charges might be. It seemed like I was walking in to a used car dealership and asked to sign a sales contract for an unknown car at an unknown sales price with undetermined terms. I could go on, but I won't. And neither will I return to his office.

EXTREMELY un-thorough and seemed to care very little to none about me post surgery. diagnosis…read moreappointment doctor just felt and looked up my nose and said o it's this, this is the surgery you need(no scan or xray to check for extent of bone/soft tissue damage). post surgery the doctor tells me man your nose was really messed up but I THINK I fixed it....came for two post op appointments to ask why it wasn't improving and when I could expect to have clear airways again and was told they were clear and he wasn't sure why I felt nasal pressure or congestion. then didnt scheduled me for another post op appointment. leaving me without answers and a still improper working nose... $3000 wasted and still un able to breathe. don't waste your money or time here.
