I took the recommendation for the grouper and had the wrap very tasty and not your typical bar grill food. Great service and very nice to the kids and they got a ring pop after the meal. In town for work and looking for a local place to eat and drink. LJs was close and I thought I could catch a game while I ate. Big surprise - the food was great! I had grouper fingers and they were fabulous. Lightly breaded and cooked just right with a Cole slaw side. Top it off with Sam Adams seasonal and it was a great find. A few weeks ago I had an awesome grilled tenderloin and onion rings. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. That being said we had breakfast there yesterday. Very bad. Eggs were very runny bacon not cooked fully hashbrowns greasy mushy. Food took forever to come out and then it came out in shifts. Not all together. I really like their vast menu options and drink specials. Last time I was there I got potato skins as an appetizer (delicious!) and pasta for my entree. They had $2 jack and cokes, and were not shy on the alcohol so I felt like I wasn't wasting my money. Our waitress was very helpful and quick to take our orders, bring out our food, and refill our drinks. However, we needed to remind her about the drink special because she tried charging us full price. Overall, it was a very good experience and I will definitely be back soon. read more

We live 45 minutes away and went to LJ's after hearing from friends how good their fish was. We've gone twice for the grouper and love it! The restaurant is very clean and we've had excellent service both times. The owners/managers are working along side wait staff ensuring everything is running smoothly, which is always a sign of a great restaurant. They truly care about your experience and the quality of the food is excellent. It's definitely worth driving 45 minutes for! read more

THE best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I crave them now weekly. They are dusted in sugar and come with a caramel sauce. Everything else we've had there has been quite good too. My only complaint would be a tad slow on service but not a big issue. read more

Have been here multiple times and whether it's nachos and a burger, wings and a wrap, tenderloin or pasta, I have not been disappointed. Always on the short list when looking to go out to eat. The parking lot when busy can be a pain, but nothing that is the fault of LJ's. read more

Excellent food, huge menu, great & friendly owners, fabulous wait staff. The cleanliness is consistent. Good drinks at the bar. A bit noisy when they have TVs going with too many shows, but they'll tune down or change channel if you ask nice & smile. The parking is good and a few tables out front when the weather is perfect make it a favorite & frequent dining spot. Sunday breakfast is a treat! read more
