From there, Tracy was wonderful in helping us select flooring, providing samples to take home, answering our questions, and ultimately writing up the sale. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and never made us feel rushed. Then came Kevin and his installation team, and they were exceptional. They spent three days at our home, moving all of our furniture, carefully preparing and floating the floors, and installing our new solid hardwood flooring. Their attention to detail was amazing. It was obvious that this team has tremendous knowledge and experience with every aspect of wood flooring. What impressed us even more was that they had just completed a 4,000-square-foot flooring project only five minutes from our home. Our job was considerably smaller, but you would never have known it from the time, care, and attention they gave us. They treated our home and our project as though it were their most important job. From Patrick to Tracy to Kevin and the entire installation crew, Flaherty's Flooring was first-class all the way. Great people, excellent workmanship, and outstanding customer service. My tile guy told me how much to purchase based on our space to be tiled. All contractors over order tile to ensure job can get completed without delay. I had 6 boxes of unused, unopened tile and they will not allow me to return it. While it does say that on my receipt after I purchased, I feel they should of verbally explained that to me before I ordered. I would of ordered less, then ordered more later if needed or I would of taken my business elsewhere.

I have white walls that stain just by breathing heavily on them. Eduardo's crew did all that work and left only one small smudge. He offered to touch up, but I declined. I expected worse. If you are in Spring, Magnolia, etc, I def. recommend giving Hank a call before you purchase. We were about to pay 20% more. The only minus is Hank never inspected the installation job. But that's fine by me. It's been 4 weeks and carpet still looks new.

A great example...My last project was for a resale condo that totally needed to be done and I was 1000 miles away. I trusted his taste to let him make the selections that would blend with my existing bathroom tile. I suggested a laminate all over but the unlevel condo cost was moving out of my budget and then hit with the news the kitchen tile needed to be replaced too. Kenny stepped up and suggested switching to a vinyl plank that can go into the kitchen, dining and living room cost effectively. Then switch to carpet for the bedrooms to avoid cost of leveling that area. He was so patient and sincerely wanted to help me through this process and saved me $1000. People like this are hard to find. Now for quality of work it is excellent for all my projects! I fussed about all the leveling and he told me it is very important; it needs to be done. 11.14.23 This review is way over due…read more We purchased a home (in the country) that needed to have 2 bathrooms remodeled and the kitchen too. Also the laundry room needed new flooring. We hired At Home Expert (AHE) to do the remodeling to both bathrooms. Also to do the tile and backsplash in the kitchen. (Laundry room too). We did not have AHE do the cabinets but, I wish I would have hired them for that as well. At the time I did not know AHE did cabinets as well. They do it ALL! I went to the AHE showroom and met with Evan Rousan. We have used Evan R. before on a different home and he did an EXCELLENT job on it , so why use someone else. Plus, he is just a really nice man! Evan helped me design my 2 bathrooms and pick out great back splash and flooring for the house. I had a budget set in my mind and he helped me stay on it. Evan also gave me some advice on what would look good & what would not. I really appreciate that! He was not just trying to make a sale. The tile selection at the showroom was fantastic, just what I was wanting. While Evan's crew was doing all the work at our house, we decided to have them paint almost all of the inside of the house and paint the fireplace. (I love how the fireplace and mantel came out!) When we have other projects we will definitely check with AHE first.

Jacquie has been nothing but incredible as was the installation team. So a few things stood out to me with this whole experience. First, I saw the pricing of our existing LVP (we wanted to match it in the bedrooms after removing the carpet) on the manufacturer website at a specific price but when I got quotes elsewhere, they all upcharged in varying amounts but not Jacquie! Second, the team who came to install the flooring was employed by this company, not a contracted out group which to me means they take pride in their work as it reflects directly on the company. They were on time, very professional, cleaned up any footprints along the way, and in one difficult spot they took the time to really figure out how to make it work correctly the first time. My husband actually used to lay flooring years ago and even he was impressed with the quality of the work! We are so happy to have consistent flooring now throughout the house and I can finally relax and have guests stay without worrying about carpet holding smells that I am nose-blind to! I will add better photos once our house doesn't look like a war zone with moving furniture and we put down the fancy baseboards we ordered! The team that laid the floors were professional and efficient. You can tell that this team has worked together for quite a while because everything flows smoothly. Abel, Peter, Elijah,and Daniel were their names. I suggest that you asked for this team when it comes to laying down your floors. So the company gets an A+ for laying down wood flooring. Also the office rep whose name is Jacquie gets in a plus because she went out of her way to ensure we chose the floors we needed. She goes above and beyond when it comes to helping the clients. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I'm sure the company gets a lot of business because of her wonderful customer service. And most important the company gets an a++ for pricing. You cannot beat their pricing anywhere, believe me I tried. I suggest if you find a wood sampling that you like at another store bring it to their store and if they can beat the price. I did that a few times and they always came about $2.50 under the asking price of the other company. Now there's a few things to be aware of that I learned doing this process if you are changing your floors from tile to Wood. I went with the dust free company that they use but that does not mean you will not get dust over everything because there are other processes like laying down the float and dealing with it. it produces a lot of dust in your home. I had to dust every article in my home and cabinets when the process was completed. I would definitely recommend that you speak with the team that they use to come out to take up tile to ensure that they cover all of your items in your bookshelves and on your counters completely or you need to ensure that there is nothing left out on any counters. So, if I could critique anything I felt that the team that came out to break up tile could have done a much better job at covering the bookshelves and the things on the kitchen counter. But now I know, so I'm passing on this information to others. Also another thing to be aware of if you are getting tile taken up. You will definitely get damaged to your baseboards. I was not aware of that and I didn't have any issues in the room that had carpet in them but the baseboards in the rooms that the tile were taken up looked pretty bad because the paint was pulled up off of the baseboards when they took up the shoe mold or quarter round. When they do this, it also takes off some of the paint from your baseboards and you will be left with baseboard shock like I was because I wasn't aware of this beforehand. So I ended up spot painting all the areas that the paint came off of my baseboards and that fixed the problem but I just wasn't aware beforehand that pulling off the quarter rounds would peel off your paint from your baseboards. So just be aware and plan to either repaint your baseboards after your wood is put down or replace them. Now, if they are just pulling up carpet you will not have this issue. So in the end even with the issues with the baseboards due to the tile being pulled up and having to touch up my baseboards I would do it again because my floors look beautiful. See pics attached for the dust that was left on the counters, the condition my baseboards were left in and last but not least the beautiful flooring. Hopefully this review helps if you are transitioning from a tile flooring to wood flooring. It has been over a week now and I'm still loving my wood flooring.

They filled the cracks with a bright, shinny substance and did not texture the surface making it between extremely difficult to impossible to make the stress cracks disappear. They broke one shade. Made many calls to the company to fix the shade. They did not respond. The realtor had to fix the shade!!!!!!!
