The training took place at her facility in Dewey, AZ, where Scout stayed for the duration and was treated like family. Angelika even let Scout sleep in their bedroom (don't believe this is part of the normal program but goes to show how dedicated Angelika is to making the training personal). They were incredibly flexible with start and pick-up dates, which we greatly appreciated during a busy time for us. From the start, it was clear that Angelika is knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about helping dogs and their owners. The training sessions were tailored specifically to Scout's personality and needs, and the progress has been amazing. Using positive reinforcement techniques, Angelika not only addressed the issues quickly but also helped Scout build confidence. She kept us updated with regular communication, including progress videos. Now, Scout walks calmly on a leash, no longer jumps on guests, and responds much better to commands. During the pick-up session, Angelika and her husband, Tino, took the time to thoroughly explain the "why" behind each technique, ensuring we felt confident continuing the training at home. Angelika also made herself available for follow-up questions and provided helpful resources to reinforce everything we learned. He is a high-energy, playful dog, but we've taken him to other daycares without any issues and have always been told that his energy level is completely manageable. I understand that every daycare has different policies and that staff need to keep all of the dogs safe, but it's upsetting to pay for daycare and find out that my dog is spending his time separated rather than being allowed to play and socialize. If they don't feel they can accommodate an energetic dog, I wish that had been communicated to us upfront instead of continuing to accept him for daycare. Overall, I just don't feel like my dog is welcomed or treated kindly here, and that's not how I want to feel when leaving him somewhere that I'm trusting to care for him. We'll be taking him elsewhere going forward. I would recommend looking into other options. I highly recommend Pet Play House or Second Home Pet Resort.

I reached out to Don at Sofu via his website and he called me back within a day, I think. We talked about my dog, the reasons I was seeking training, availability and then we set up a meet. After a bit of a discussion, I was informed a board and train would be the best option but he was suggesting to do weekly training so I could learn more from the experience to pass down to my other five dogs. I have passed along a lot of the tips and trainings to my other dogs and the whole dynamic at home has really changed for the better. I have also gotten more into the training techniques and trainers that Don recommended and everything as a whole is aiding me in obtaining a better understanding of the relationship between a girl and her dogs.

I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

My two girls are 4.4 and 6.5lbs, and while other daycare places like Dogtopia are great, my ladies just didn't thrive with all the other pups being so much larger than them. My only wish is that Petite Pup would open a second location in central Phoenix or Arcadia! Seriously I'd be there every day! It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to Petite Pup's current location, and while that isn't terrible, going there and back twice a day equals 2 hours of driving for me. Totally not their fault I don't live in the area, but unfortunately I don't get to take my girls there nearly as much as I'd like. Petition to open a second location?

I'm a crazy dog mom and the staff was more than welcoming, so knowledgeable, and easily trustable to leave your pup with. Not a huge review person, but when I LOVE a place, I will let others know. They sent me pictures and videos and updated me throughout the time he was there. New fav spot if you have a small dog and aren't coming here, you're missing out.
