Glad I tried this spot! It's such a cute space. I got the salted tahini honeycomb latte and it was good but nothing special. I couldn't really taste the tahini

One of the more efficient mamans in the DMV area. Menu is like all the other mamans are decent - something for almost everyone. We went twice during our stay nearby - once for an afternoon pick me up and again for breakfast. The date latte was entirely lacking. I've ordered the same drink in NYC and tasted so much better. The next morning, ordered a flag white, which also turned out to be one of the more disappointing flat whites ever. The tables both inside and outside were filthy. Just unfortunate the mamans in this area can't live up to the experiences in NYC.

Maman is ambiance was perfect for working remote or on the go. I enjoyed a vanilla latte with a chocolate croissant, even though the latte was lukewarm it was still very good. This place can get busy as it seems like the local hotspot. Prepare for a bit of a wait but the surrounding area and the people are delightful.

I got the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and a regular ice coffee. I also got the banana pudding latte. The sanche was pretty basic and I should've probably ordered the other breakfast sandwich that one looked a little bit better I also had the pistachio tea cake and it was just very dry. Coffee was basic and I don't think it was worth the price the latte was about ten dollars. I just thought the food quality and coffee would be better for the prices they were charging probably just the area but I would see what else is available.

Went to the Navy Yard Maman for the first time on Saturday. Very similar vibe as the other Maman's that I've gone to, though this one seemed less busy than the others - a plus! We placed our orders and found a table right away. I enjoyed one of the World Cup Pastries - Argentina - that had a guava filling. It was really good and creative. The toasted s'mores croissant cube also caught my eye, but will have to try that one another time. We appreciate the gluten free offerings as well! We ordered peach pie matcha and an iced chai latte both with almond milk. When we got the matcha, it definitely was made with dairy milk. They were willing to remake quickly. The chai latte was alright. Felt watered down quite a bit so will likely try something different next time. A nice place to grab a coffee and catch up! The food others were enjoying looked fabulous!

We used their mobile ordering which made pick up super easy before the Nats game. The decor was super cute and there was a lot of cute merchandise and loose leaf tea to purchase as gifts. We tried the salted caramel latte, it was good but pretty basic. Definitely loves the vibes and will be back!

I returned to Maman for a breakfast date on a gloomy, rainy Sunday. The line wasn't long but there weren't very many tables open, some needed to be cleared off. We ordered the papa's breakfast bowl and Katie's chicken sandwich and two lattes. My latte was lukewarm with too much foam. My bowl was great however I wish I had more arugula. My partner liked the latte and shared that the chicken sandwich was amazing. We ordered two pastries to enjoy at home!

I do like this cafe. The convenience of it is perfect and it's so cute inside for remote workers or just catching up with a friend. I enjoyed the coffee I've had (honey lavender latte and the seasonal banana bread latte) I've also tried a chocolate croissant and their quiche and both were delightful. It can get very busy here and tough to find seating or know where to stand when waiting for your to-go order. I did wait some time for my latte and it ended up being lukewarm but still good taste. I will be back over and over because the food is great and I love the ambiance but I wish the waiting was a bit better.

This location of the NY-based cafe is a large one that is near, but not on, the waterfront. There is plenty of opportunity to eat in, but I ordered out. I like that they do salads for breakfast and have clear dietary labeling; most French-ish places don't offer much in the way of vegetarian options. My bowl with quinoa and chickpeas had more sweet potatoes than I expected, but overall an interesting and nutritionally useful mix. Ordering a vegan carrot cake with streusel got me a bit of indulgence, and a hot chocolate with oat milk delivered on flavor but wasn't huge. And in general, you're getting a very New York portion to price ratio. But you can get some good stuff.

Cute ambience. Service was pretty disappointing. Typical cafe where you order your food and they bring it to you. Lacked a lot of things though. Had to go up several times to ask them for utensils, napkins, condiments, and more water. They had water at a station but they keep running out or other customers take it to their table. Food was mediocre at best. The Belgian waffles could have been better if they put the strawberry paste on the side. My daughter described it as toothpaste because of the texture. Very thick, sweet, and minty. The grilled chicken was a few pieces of something rubbery that's overcooked. Extremely dry. Needs a warning for choking hazard. On the other hand, the home fries weren't so bad. Had more moisture than their grilled chicken. For the price you pay, I expected better quality. The best thing we've had from their menu was the cornbread latte and the lavender tea. I wouldn't go back there for food, but their drinks are something I would return for. Haven't had their pastries so the next time I will stop by, might pick up a few.

Its warm, clean design makes it quite welcoming for enjoying avocado toast with smoked salmon, which brings one to a place of spiritual oneness. With white walls, natural wood-grain tables and countertops, Toastique's design radiates minimalist, urban style while remaining inviting. Any time I have been there, the wait times have been stress-free, and the queues move quickly. Food-wise, you can't go wrong with their avocado toast with smoked salmon. With a generous portion of smoked salmon on top of avocado mash, on perfectly toasted sourdough bread, creating a place of tremendous well-being. The cucumbers, marinated tomatoes, red onion, capers, and a sprinkle of microgreens make for a fully satisfying meal without feeling like you are overdoing it with your life choices. Drink-wise, I always go for cold brew and the cold brew never lets me down there. Last time, they had a peanut-butter cold brew and a black cherry one, both of which were magical. This Toastique delivers every time.

We hoped to find a place that offered decaf coffee since it was late in the day, but really wanted something warm since it was a bit chilly outside. Unfortunately, this location of Toastique does not offer decaf - they only have a single hopper for their coffee, so it is not an offering. We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 5 minutes for her drink. We appreciated the effort to double check it was vegan, though I do wish they had decaf options.

I paid $5 for a side of zesty naan topped with different spices and really wish it came with the dish just came with it. While I was tempted to order the falafel, I couldn't justify shelling out another $5 for another upcharge and spend $10 on them for a total of $26 for just an entree - when these 2 upcharges should have been included in the entree by default.
