Luckily he was and with Doctor Shehadeh and his staff's help I got squeezed in for an emergency extraction at the surgeon's office. There were also social distancing markers on chairs in the waiting room and on the floor near their front desk. They're doing their best given the circumstances, especially as they are essential. Over the years, they've managed to renovate inside and make the office look brand new and modern. Though I never disliked their old look a few years back! The staff here are always nice and willing to work with you when it comes to scheduling appointments and making payments. As for the actual dentist and hygienists, they make sure you feel comfortable and are excellent at their jobs. If you have questions they are always happy to answer them with no judgement either! I saw Dr. Malik because of gum overgrowth caused by a heart medication I take. He told me I would…read moreneed to change this. This is a big "ask" because I am sensitive and have side effects with many meds. I saw my cardiologist and changed medication, went through that adjustment period, and returned to him with the name of the new medication which he approved. Because of this I went forward with a laser treatment to remove the gum overgrowth. I paid several thousand out of pocket on top of insurance. The overgrowth returned a year later and my dentist sent me back for a follow up. Dr. Malik's response upon re-examining me was "Well of course it came back you are on a medication that causes gum overgrowth." When I informed him that I had changed it and he approved the change, he was confused at first, looked through my chart, and told me my current medication causes the same thing. While I know gum overgrowth can return, had I known the new medication had a risk of causing the this as well I wouldn't have paid several thousand to do the laser treatment. And I wouldn't gone through the extra cardiologist visit or the adjustment period in changing heart meds. I've thought about small claims court because it just sucked. Not an apology for the miscommunication. Nothing.Can you say medical gaslighting?

First time they claimed I never made an appointment even though I always make one with my husband and then they still tried arguing. This last time they tried calling me less then 12 hours before my appointment telling me they had to change my time by over two hours but my husband could keep his the same so we had to go back and forth before they "called other people" and called me back less than thirty seconds later to tell me it is okay for my original time I scheduled 6 months beforehand. Other than that... this place is AMAZING. The staff here and hygienists are insanely good and thorough with their cleanings and I love how they also give me a little toothpaste to take home when I am finished! I never have to wait long when I check in! Their waiting room is rather small with a handful of chairs but it is never crowded to where I have to stand or wait outside. The place is also very clean and I like that each room has a television that they play music from so the cleanings are never quiet and awkward! A lovely dentist that could use a little help with their last minute warnings and small appointment issues but overall an amazing place with an amazing dentist, Dr. Gonzalez!!!

I am not a fan of the other dentist that recently started because it feels like she is trying to push products such as claiming I have an overbite when my orthodontist has never said anything about it and I have had braces. They are open every day of the week and every other Sunday and their office is very clean and I never feel like I am on top of anyone when I'm here and waiting for my cleaning.
