DO NOT GO TO LML REPAIR. I brought in a water damaged phone and asked their professional opinion - if it should be repaired, or if I should buy a new phone. I asked them to take a look, and if it was salvageable, to repair it. If not, to tell me and I would buy a new phone. When they opened the phone, despite seeing obvious damage, including rust, they did $200 of work - only to have the phone not work and reset ever minute. When I pointed out that they should have stopped, or at least run a full test to confirm everything was working, they said "you asked for this work. No refunds." I wasted $225 on them. Do not make the mistake I did. LML is unprofessional. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE TO LML REPAIR. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The person I interacted with, who I assume is the owner, physically accosted me. Long story short, when I arrived to pick up my phone for a screen repair, he returned the phone to me with a new screen, but the phone would not boot up. He also had not put on the screen protector I requested and did not have one on hand. I stuck around to charge up the phone and see if I could get it to power on. When it eventually did, it had been factory reset! That is not required to replace the screen! He also already delayed my repair by a whole day from when he previously stated it would be ready. I asked for a discount, since the factory reset of my phone was a significant inconvenience, and the service had been poor already. He refused the refund, and when I pressed him for one, he said I should give him my phone so he could put the broken screen back on, and then he would give me a full refund. I refused to give him my phone, and said I would take a full refund. He continued to demand my phone from me, so I said I was going to dispute the credit card charge for the poor service, and that is when he blocked my exit, leaning his back into the door so I couldn't leave! It was very scary. I threatened to call the police, but he did not move. He told me I was being recorded like I was the one being unreasonable, but this man was the one threatening me! I was able to get my hands on the door knob and pull it open against his weight and get out. To get out of the building the business is in, you have to go down an elevator or stairs. I headed to the elevator first, and the owner pursued me there. He kept messing with the door so it wouldn't close, preventing me from leaving! By this time, the owner had called the police on me and was telling them that I was stealing his products. Which I wasn't, he had already run my card, so I had paid full price for his bad service. I got out of the elevator and looked for the stairs, with this guy on my heels and continuing to tell the police I was stealing from him. I yelled that I had paid and was just trying to leave. I found the stairs and ran out, and this guy actually ran down the stairs after me. Luckily, I made it to my car and drove away before he caught up to me, but my heart was in my throat. He texted me later that evening to tell me that he wasn't going to bring any action against me- even though I never touched him, and was justly asking for him to make amends for really bad service. He said he would give me a partial refund, but that just is not good enough after he chased me out of his establishment and wrongly accused me of theft. He clearly does not understand that his actions were extremely over the line and uncalled for. I understand that he's trying to run a business, but when he makes a mistake that damages a customer's phone, he should own up to it and offer a way to make up for it. He should be insured for that sort of thing. I'm a big guy, so it scares me to think of him acting this way with other people that might not be able to physically open a door when he's leaning on it. What did he intend to do by keeping me there anyway? Very dangerous behavior, DO NOT do business here. I have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau, and hope this guy learns better customer service and conflict resolution. read more

Price quoted on the website was $100 for an iPad screen replacement. Arrived to the location (which was difficult to find) and upon checking in was informed that price had gone up to $150. After returning home, I felt uneasy about what I perceived to be bait & switch. I checked prices at other places ($80-$100) so called to request my device back & they were gracious enough to let me pick it up with no issues. Make sure you read every part of their whole form otherwise you'll be hit with unexpected expenses like I was! The person I spoke with did not mention a diagnosis fee. They charged me $60 just to tell me that my Xbox was not worth fixing. Apparently they spent hours on the diagnoses but it looks like it was barely touched. When I arrived, my Xbox was on the floor, dirty, and had no signs that it was properly looked at. When complaining about the unexpected fee, he told me that it wasn't even worth his time and that he makes more on his other services? Way to be professional. Whatever, I paid the fee so that I could be on my way. Overall it was a waste of my time and money with no information on to why my Xbox isn't working besides "it could be something with the board". I feel like I was scammed. They also charge 20% tax which doesn't make sense. read more

Disappointed with overestimation of skill. Probably can change broken screens but not anything more technical than that. I didn't know what to expect when I brought in my Pixel phone. It died overnight with a device corrupt message. I left the phone with Rawan hoping he could turn it back on, so that I could retrieve the data. He couldn't do much after a few hours, and he wasn't clear about what he did either, but he charged me $50 for it. He told me to take the phone to UbreakIfix. I'm not sure if Rawan actually did anything besides pressing the power button and googling for answers. I already did that, and I told him that the device was corrupt -- software or motherboard. The lack of transparency and communication really bugged me. I also feel cheated because I actually thought he was a "certified technician" as the website stated. Else, I would have taken it somewhere else. I didn't need a jackass to tell me what I already knew and charged me $50 for it. read more

Possibly a good place to get a phone repaired but in my experience not a good place to go to get your laptop repaired. I brought my laptop into LML repair on November 3rd 2024 to get the battery replaced. I dropped off the laptop and completed the intake form and then didn't get any follow up communication about progress with finding the new battery, when it would be delivered and if it's possible to get it replaced for the last month. I emailed them about one week ago and got no response. I called them yesterday and they said they'd call me back but never did. I visited the West Seattle location today and they still didn't have an update so I just took my laptop back and they gave me a referral to other places. A bit of a waste of time and I was disappointed because I am not sure if any progress was made in the month that my laptop was with them. read more

this guy fixed my back glass on my iphone and replaced my screen protector and everything looks incredible !! you should get your device fixed here. it was weird trying to get to the location because it's in a business/studio space apartment style building. i had to get in contact with him over the phone to get inside the building because the call box was out of order but he responded in a reasonable amount of time and everything worked out! the price was really incredible and he even replaced my battery when something went wrong with no extra charge! my phone looks almost brand new and he asked me to let him know if anything goes wrong, so like i said, get your device fixed here! read more

To get to the shop, you have to take the elevator between the building fronting on Harbor Ave and the one behind it. Follow the instructions to dial the shop & he will unlock the elevator. These are the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. I was on vacation and my phones screen stopped working. The issue, I was traveling alone and everything I planned and needed was on my phone. I took a taxi from my hotel to get there and got super lost on the way but finally found the place they are the 3rd floor at the active space. I showed up 30 mins before closing. The guy was super understanding and helpful. I thought my LCD screen broke turns out it was something completely different. Instead of turning me away they offered to drop me off at my hotel as I had to way of getting back. Go to their second location and fix it there then bring it back to drop it off to me. Honestly that is the nicest thing any stranger has done for me. I was completely baffled by their kindness.
