The only reason I'm giving this place a 5 star review is because I don't have an option for 10. I was on a recent 6 day motorcycle trip to the Grants Pass area from central California with five other riders. Upon starting my bike on day two of our trip I noticed my bike(a 2012 Yamaha FJR) making what sounded like an exhaust leak. Unable to determine the cause and not wanting to ride the bike in that condition I Googled motorcycle repair shops in the area and found LMS Motorsports. Since it was only a few miles from our hotel I rode directly there so I would be there when they opened at 9am. I was cheerfully greeted by Sherry only to find out the shop only works on off road motorcycles and ATV's. Jeff,(who I assume is the owner) overheard us talking and came over to ask what the problem was. I explained it to him and he said "let's take a look". I started the bike, he stuck his head down by the exhaust and said without any hesitation "I can fix that, drive it around the back". Fifteen minutes later(and a quick TIG weld) I was on my way and able to finish our ride without and further incidents. Where do I start?! Brought our RZR to the dealership prior to selling it to a friend. You'd think that most dealers technicians would have knowledge on what makes them tick! Turns out they know how to make it worse! And go straight to looking for more problems prior to doing what I had asked them to accomplish for us. Over $2000 later and 3 trips of bringing it back didn't help whatsoever! So when spoke to Jeff at LMS, he already had an idea of what happened. He came to pick up the machine, repaired it and brought it back. Corrected the work that the dealer claimed they already had done. Did even more things than I had expected, plus cost less than the dealer. I reached out to the Dealership owner showing him the invoice for what I just had done. No response, I'm not too surprised! After 10 years of being a customer and buying 2 new machines from them, he could care less to make it right! So be aware that the local Polaris shop is not capable of doing it right and especially for what they charge! LMS came through for Us! Thanks Jeff Foster! read more

Really nice people. Got my quad back a couple weeks before I thought I would. Quad is back to brand new. I highly recommend and I promise I do not know these people, they did not ask me to write this. I genuinely recommend these people if you're in the southern Oregon area. read more

They gave us a quote and when the bike was done the bill was double. With out calling us to tell us it was going to be more. In time to pick up they weren't will to go down on price of the labor. NOT HAPPY. Poor business read more

Worst advice I've ever received! Called about winter enduro tires that I'll only use during the winter months for my supermoto, Joe's comment after he only had two options was that I'm better off running the street tires than enduro tires in the winter (snow or gravel roads). WTF that's some real knowledge and then he tells me I don't know what I'm talking about after he says to stay with the street tires. Some real knowledge there not to mention that's how he treats a customer! Gave them the one star only because I don't see any negative stars, would've given them a -5star rating! read more

Totally agree with the review of Mike D. 5 stars is not enough. These guys are great. Brought my Honda xr600 to them after it had been sitting for over 5 years. They got to it fast were totally great with problem solving everything it needed to get it running and working like new. Jeff, Danielle and the whole team were over the top helpful. Bike looks and runs great. Cleaned the carb and fuel tank power washed and cleaned up the entire bike tuned it up oil and filter changes new spark plug new tires chain and led turn signals new battery pretty much handed me back a perfect running and looking bike. Special thanks to the mechanics Dylan and Skyler who kept me informed about progress. The owner Jeff was so diligent he checked over the entire bike and wouldn't let it go to me on the day I picked it up until he tested everything himself and put a new chain guard on to replace my broken one. He spent a good hour fine tuning the throttle and making sure everything was to his standards. All of this was done at very fair pricing. If you have a bike needing work these guys are absolutely the best. I don't write reviews often and have pretty high expectations but this whole crew exceeded all of my expectations. I brought my motorcycle in because when you put it in gear, the motor died. I started it when Jeff the owner came out and showed him what was going on. He said it was something electrical and he could figure it out. I told him that the motor was making a lot of noise and he said that the older bikes make that noise and the carb needed to be re-jetted and he could figure out the electrical. I told him I didn't want to spend money on it if it was just going to blow up on me and he said it should be fine. I left the bike and he said 2-3 weeks as he was busy. No problem...YEAH! 2 & half months later I stopped in and they said the kid working on it didn't know electrical and they would call me...NOPE! I had to call back and they told me they got it going but the CDI was now bad. I brought in a brand new one ($150) and asked if I could go back and watch. The kid started to hook up the battery w/out installing it first. I had to stop him and I installed the CDI myself and while he was working on the electrical changing wires, he left the ignition on while pulling wires and grounding them sparks flying, etc. (I know how my CDI got fried now) Long story short...he said he didn't know how to fix the problem and it had to be the new CDI, I got my bike back in pieces, not running a fried CDI and original problem unsolved and it cost me $300 + a fried CDI and 3 months. Oh... and the other guy in the shop told me it would blow up on me the first time I ride it... GREAT! I thought a motorcycle shop could fix a motorcycle...hmmm I guess not this place and the owner was a total ass about it. I'm telling ALL my friends and everyone I see with bikes and quads to never give this place the time of day and to find a reputable shop. Jeff... a happy customer will tell a few people, but an unhappy customer will tell everyone... food for thought! read more

BROKE DOWN AND STRANDED! Jeff, the owner, is one of the most amazing men I have met in quite some time! While touring the west coast on motorcycles, my girlfriend's motorcycle broke down 20 miles south of Grants Pass. We called the shop from the side of the road and Jeff offered to meet us and pick up the bike. Not only did he save us a ($$$) tow, but he put us first in line to repair the bike. He had us back on the road from the time we called him in 2.5 hours! Unbelievable and knowledgable mechanic, with friendly and generous service. Thank you Jeff! read more
