Eight years after buying a 2016 KTM Super Adventure bike, I returned to purchase a 890 Adventure. The shop serviced, repaired and sold parts (mostly tires) for my motorcycle since then. The parts manager gave excellent advice on tires that all preformed well on dirt, gravel and asphalt. There is a new owner but service continues to be great. The manager was very helpful but not an expert on all the adventure models. Dirt bikes are the best sellers here. A downside is that the owner will not take trade-ins. (Probably because the shop hardly has room for its new bikes.) The 2016 shop was burned in the Alameda Fire. The new shop is much smaller and crowded with KTM dirt bikes with few adventure and high-speed street bikes. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the folks at this place. We were on the first day of a 9 day ride down into Northern CA when the fuel pump on my SDGT died. Not only did they have the parts in stock, but they got my bike right in and I was back on the road in about an hour Excellent experience. And totally saved the trip! read more

Had a broken KTM 690 with a bad slave brake cylinder which stranded me. Called at 4:30 and they had the part and held it for me. Showed up when they opened got me right in and on my way in 1 1/2 hors with new slave cylinder installed and oil changed. Great service. read more

Seriously tried charging $80 for a nitrogen fill on a rebuilt shock. It wasn't even a joke, he said it with a straight face and everything. This further confirms that their shop services are anything but honest. I also had a bad experience in the past with having a tire mounted and balanced through their shop. The tire was mounted but I was charged an additional $25 for the balance.They hadn't even removed the bailing wire I put in the hub holding the bearing in place. Also, no weights on the rim... so what and how did they balance?? KTM is known to be an expensive bike to maintain and I now know why. Save your money and buy a BMW at least they are up front about raping your wallet read more

I took my KTM 525 in for service. I needed fork seals, new rear tire, clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. The guy told me it would be ready in a couple months due to back ordered parts for the slave cylinder. He told me it would cost around $700. I said ok. One month later they call and tell me its ready. They say its $965. No written estimate no mention of price increase prior to that. Im picking up the bike not complaining about the lack of estimate or higher price. Owner tells me bike is not running good and backfiring. I told him it ran great when I brought it in and that I rode it almost everyday. Turns out the gas went bad and plugged the carb. They blamed me for the bike sitting with gas in the carb. They are the pros. Knowing the bike was gonna sit for a long time due to parts shortage they should have drained the gas. I spent $265 over the estimate and the bike ran like crap. The owner did not offer a discount on the carb cleaning instead wanted another $200 to clean the carb. He repeatedly told my bike was old and that was the problem. HELLO McFLY.. Gas can go bad in a new bike too. This is the second time I was overcharged there. There won't be a third. read more

I have done business with more than a dozen motorcycle dealerships over the past 45 years and have seen good and bad customer service. I currently have a 690 Enduro and started going to OMA KTM about 5 years ago for parts, accessories, lubricants, tires and service questions. I'm impressed by the simple gesture that Jeff welcomes me by name when I come in and is easy to talk to about bikes, places to ride, his experiences with different products, etc. It's obvious the staff love motorcycles and are happy to be there by the way they treat me and do what it takes to help me get what I'm after. I had been going to a different Medford motorcycle dealership and they could not remember my name during 18 years of doing business with them. There was always tension there. They acted like they were doing me a huge favor to serve me so I always felt like I was inconveniencing them. OMA KTM is a breath of fresh air compared to that. It is a comfortable place to go to get things for my bike, spend time visiting and talking to the staff and fellow enthusiasts, appreciate the quality and capabilities of KTM motorcycles, and to dream of future riding adventures. read more

Took my new '16 1190 adv R for its first service. Absolutely the best "find-a-new-shop" experience I've ever had. Friendly, on-time, helpful, funny, just plain-old great guys to deal with. First service was way less expensive than I thought it would be, and they'll get all my business until I'm too far away to drive and give it to them. and... there is a great diner next door to have a meal while I waited. read more

There's something to be said for dealing directly with the owner. Jeff is a great guy and always follows through on his promises. He always takes the time to help me out with my big or small purchases. I bought my first KTM here in 2009. I'll be sure to stop by when I finally decide to replace it. So you would think that Oregon Motorcycle Adventure would be fun because they rent bikes as it says on Google and the big frickin sign out front that says Sales, Service, RENTALS ! They don't rent! I guess I'm dumb for paying attention to those details, lost a customer forever and any recommendations!! read more

I had setup an Appt to have KTM work on my 1989 Yamaha Virago 1100, about a year ago it started making a grinding noise, so I wanted them to take a look and tell me what was wrong and eventually fix it ...depending on cost vs. value of the bike of course.....I showed up on the day of my Appt. and the person opening the shop that day told me that the shop refused to work on my bike...........saying "it would be like taking a Ford to a Chevy dealer". I informed him that I had it maintained at a KTM dealer in Reno while I lived there, he directed me to get it fixed elsewhere.......After posting on their Facebook page "The shop really shouldn't agree to work on someones bike, and then when I have a friend take time from work, bring his truck over to drop it off, and then the shop refuses to work on the bike because it is a Yamaha....when they knew it was a Yamaha when I made the appt for repair and service....wont recommend your shop to anyone!" To which they replied: "Sorry for the trouble but it was NOT because it was a Yamaha. It was because it was in numerous pieces, and hadn't run in years." To which I replied: "Numerous pieces?? meaning the 4 small parts I took off? You act like I was bringing in a "basket case" .....I told you this morning I had it started last month, and has been started every month for the past year, I told you that I hadnt ridden it in a year. Then you made that comment about "it's like taking a Ford to a Chevy dealer" so dont tell me its not because its a Yamaha." And I included in my post a pic of my bike from today along with a pic of the 4 small parts I had taken off. They then deleted the conversation from their Facebook page. So I sent a copy of it to KTM corporate as well as two other KTM Facebook pages. I just find it utter contemptible that a business would agree to work on a vehicle and then when I deliver it to the front door they refuse because of the make of the vehicle!! KTM Phoenix/Medford will NEVER get any of my business and I plan to let every biker I know to NEVER darken their doors! read more
