Even when they are busy they take the time to say I will be right with you .They All have 100 % customer service ! It's great to hear a smile in a voice even though you can't see it! Boy was I glad I did that. It was some of the nicest customer service. I met the owner, Dave, who is just incredibly helpful and talking me through all the different components gave me a little test drive demonstration. Showed me a lot of the ins and outs in order to make sure I don't snap belts and just good solid advice. You never would've gotten that kind of professional courtesy from the big box stores. Plus machine had a great warranty and was solid customer service nearby. Just really nice salt of the earth people. I'm positive mowing these fields is going to be very peaceful experience. As a woman, an "older" woman at that, I wasn't sure what kind of reception I'd receive. Terri, the owner (and daughter of the founder) welcomed, encouraged, and assured me that I could do this! She helped me pick out my perfect starter bike. When I had questions about my bike after dropping her, the service department didn't judge, but made sure I had all the tools I needed to be successful. When I found myself challenged by different riding scenarios they always had tips for me. The icing on the cake is the extra work they put in to help my husband with a surprise of massive proportions when he bought me a new bike for our 30th anniversary this year. Today I'm happy to say I know several D&S employees by name, feel welcome when I'm there, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Since we were passing D & S anyway, we dropped by to price a new piece for the one lost on Interstate 5. A manager, Josh, overheard our dilemma and mentioned that there was an 'old' one in the back that would fit my buddy's Heritage. Josh then proceeded to install the pipe he found, test drove the bike and didn't even charge for the impromptu service he had performed! We couldn't believe it! He sat in the hot sun fixing a 'hot' bike, and renewed our faith in D & S with his kindness and help. FIVE stars for sure, and I'd give more if I could!

After calling around a bunch of places, Specialized Powersports offered the lowest price to replace the tire. After getting the new tire shipped in, I called them on the day of, brought the tire and my bike in, and they had it done within an hour. They even oiled the chain for me! They were incredibly nice. Though, did use some sarcastic humor to keep things light. But 10/10, I will come back to them again.

I had brought my dirt bike here from a referral from Carlson's Motorsports, which was my first…read moremistake. Unfortunately, we don't have much of a selection of motorcycle service shops here in the Rogue Valley, so I took my chances. I had asked Justin at Specialized Powersports to please diagnose the problem on my dirt bike, and to call me with any updates. I had assumed that the float was stuck in the carburetor. Justin and I had agreed upon $100 dollars to diagnosis the issue, and that if it was something small, he would just fix it for the $100 dollars. Anything more than that, he would call me to see what I wanted to do. Two weeks go by with no word. I had left a voicemail asking for an update the week prior, which was never returned. I decided to go down to the shop in person to see if there were any updates. When I arrived, I had immediately noticed that my dirt bike had some brand new parts on it that I never agreed to. I asked Justin what the updates were, and asked if he had replaced anything on the bike. I also reminded him of our agreement of the $100 dollar diagnostic fee, and that he would contact me before charging any extra or replace anything. Justin seemed surprised that I had not been contacted since originally dropping the bike off, two weeks prior. He proceeded to tell me that the bike runs great now, after having replaced the carburetor, fuel lines, fuel filter, re-jetting the carburetor, and that we were just waiting on a new air filter before it would be ready. I personally, had just rebuilt the carburetor myself, along with replacing the air filter and a handful of other things that Justin knew about, before bringing the bike into the shop. I knew that he was trying to take advantage of me. Justin told me that "I wasn't in repairs very much. Under $300 bucks for sure." I was livid. I told him to immediately cease any further work, I did not want the air filter, and that I would pay him for the work that he did, but I'm taking the bike. It seems to me, that Justin was unable to track down the problem, so he either threw a bunch of new parts on the bike 'hoping' to fix it, or he is just another dishonest mechanic, trying to up-sale the customer as much as possible. I will never go back, and I highly suggest the same. I'd rather make the drive to a more reputable and honest shop. I'm surprised this place is still in business, with the way they operate.

I was trying to pick up a couple of Specialized Turbo Kenevo bikes and most everywhere was out-of-stock because of the big sale they were having ($9000 MSRP down to $5800). Eventually did get what I wanted - but could only have them delivered and was shopping around for a great shop to set them up, test ride and go. Well, found the folks at Siskiyou Cyclery. Usually I'm heading further north to Medford, but the plan was to also enjoy Oregon and take a visit to Crater Lake. These folks are conveniently located near middle of Ashland. They're on a main road so you will have an easy time finding them (and turning around if you miss). Parking is nice - there's two spots on the road in front of the shop, parking in the back and next door parking if you have a larger vehicle as well. Inside, it's a bike shop. Nothing fancy. What is nice is that while I was waiting, I saw one mom bring her kids (6?) bike in because of a flat. I saw another guy just wander in needing a derailleur. Very low-key and friendly in terms of "sure, drop it off and come back this afternoon" and no, I didn't feel I was being blown off while they got those folks in and out. When I was picking up the Kenevo's, engaged in light conversation and they knew their stuff. "What is the bottom bracket of the e-bike?" or "what is the largest chain ring I can run?" plus they got into the conversation of what e-bike rules are locally, which varies crazily for USDA and USFS along NP land. Grabbed a bike, after it being set up and went for a quick ride. You can go right out the door, and then right again to head towards Starbucks. You can stay on that same road the shop is on for a long and level ride. You can go straight out and head up some minor inclines (not 10 ring stuff, but middle cog, haha) Paperwork was easy, in and out basically. You're not going to be stuck there while they treat you like a baby explaining how the dropper seat post works, or how to charge up your e-bike - unless you want to be. Overall, because "Oregon" and "Ashland" convenience, this is a great shop to stop by, get repairs or parts, and enjoy the Ashland scenery!
