I kind of let time get away from me and neglected to service my furnance for a few years. Even though it's been cold lately my oil consumption seemed off. The oil company that I have been buying oil from for over 20 years said they could not service me until spring even though I was on autofill with them and ran out of oil. I called LMT and even though the cold streak had them straight out the scheduled my a week or so out. Dennis arrived on time and gave my oil futrnace and tank the best service it has ever had. He showed me why the burner was not operating efficiently and finished with an electronic effiencey test proving the result. He took great care to leave our home clean also. A+ read more

We've been using LMT for our oil deliveries and regular maintenance since the purchase of our home in 2021. They don't use bio-fuel in their oil which is detrimental when it comes to your heating system. Between the office staff, truck, drivers, and technicians, they are always fast, friendly, and reliable. 10/10. read more

LMT has yet to return my numerous phone calls. They recently installed a new thermostat and cleaned and serviced my furnace. Now the thermostat doesn't work and the furnace doesn't come on at all. Very irresponsible outfit if this continues. read more

Not the Best in the area - not even close : Same review that I posted on Google : There's many years of experience with LMT. I think Tom, the owner is a nice man, and he was very good to my mother and father when they were around. I thank him for that. His office staff can sometimes be a bit curt, on the verge of being not as respectful as they should be ( update: Millenial acting staff : don't look for any caring from them for any reason ). It's their job to be as nice as they can be, and if that's as nice as they can be, I'd rather get a root canal. There's many places to get oil - customer service is usually what separates businesses. I will tell you that I have been waiting for a quote for a replacement HVAC for the house ( for a heat pump ) for more than 2 years, no lie. I have asked about it, I have spoken to them about it, and the response is we'll remind Tom or in email the avoid, ignore and dodge the question, And we parted ways this morning - because of the front office staff's inability to have any manners - they should send them all to charm school - they need it. I have moved over another oil company out of Rutland who were pleased to have me as a customer, they are delivering oil immediately and checking out the system. I wouldn't use LMT, find someone else. this place was recommended to me by a co worker, they came and "cleaned" my boiler 2 weeks later I woke up to my house filled with smoke, I called them to come back and check it and they told me $250 just to look at it. I called fuel assistance for help and they sent someone out and they couldn't believe how dirty it was if it was just cleaned. there were bolts loose that definitely shouldn't have been. I am not trying to bash this place but they should have came back and atleast looked according to every place I called to try and help they told me to call whoever did the work. then I left a review on their page and it was erased then the wife of the employee of this place text me asking why I left a bad review. Signed up for new device via a promotion they were running. I asked to have my oil tank filled. I didn't meet their minimum delivery so they charged me an additional $40! When I called to ask why that wasn't explained to me when I signed up I was told by the woman it wasn't her problem! Poor customer service! read more

LTM Oil has poor customer service. They have been doing work on my house for over 2 months now and they cannot even show up when they say they are going to show up. I am never notified if they are not coming on a scheduled day. They just don't show up. They have NOT pulled any permits for the work they are doing on my house. Who does that? I call and I get ignored. I have never dealt with a company who schedules a day of work and time and then just doesn't show up or notify you of the cancellation. All I heard was excuses about emergency situations at other homes. This is all during the same time I had NO HEAT. How is that not an emergency? Stay away. Bad experience!!!!!! read more

Preface: I have never had oil in my life! I am a new home owner and LMT has been nothing but good to me. Who knew oil ran out so fast in the cold months?!? LMT was there for me past their scheduled hours to make sure I had heat the same day it went out. I can't even tell you how grateful I am. I am cold when it's 70 degrees out let alone when it's 50 degrees. On top of all that he still had other jobs to do.. talk about dedication! Above five star rating. Good price on the cleaning for a 100$ but in my opinion its the old bait and switch. Low cleaning cost then they hit you with the high replacement cost, they broke a piece in my furnace which only needed to be welded for a small fee and wanted 4500 for a new system. Got a second opinion and only paid 3400 for a new furnace install. read more

LMT Oil company is incredibly reliable and very fair and reasonable. We thought we had a problem with our furnace last year, turns out we were out of oil (new to oil). The serviceman left our house, went to get the oil truck, filled our tank and primed the oil lines within an hour. They are the best! Not only that, but very responsive and timely with next day oil deliveries. If you're not using LMT, you're using the wrong company! read more

LMT oil has fast, friendly,honest,efficient service and reasonable prices (for oil and service). No hard sells or up sells. During the burner service, the technician found that the baffles were not put on when the burner was originally installed (not by LMT) so he installed the baffles which increases the burner's energy efficiency.
