I have been going to the Emporium for years but it has changed. Now the place is like a HomeGoods with so many items you don't know where to look. What is special about that? Rarely is there anyone walking around . Some of the young people at the register don't even look at the customer when paying. This week there was a 30ish woman who was friendly. Where are the owners or managers?? I miss the older folks who got into conversation with customers. The shelves are not as neat as in the past . Please get it together with a manager.

My friend and I walked in and the girl behind the counter was on her phone the whole time looking down and did not look up once. Ok, that's fine we don't always need a greeting when walking into a shop. However, there are lots of delicate items and I would think you would want to check in to see if the customer has any questions or want to see any of the items that are placed inside the display cases that have to be opened. There was silence until my friend asked if one of the items were vermeil gold or gold plated. She had no idea and was a bit taken aback by the question but then got up and went behind to look at some sort of book. So we figured she must be looking it up. We walk around some more and about a good 20 mins later we come back and ask her did you find out and her response was, "what?" This time I asked the same question and she responds that she doesn't know and she was just looking up prices. We never asked about prices. It was just so weird and obviously apparent she did not care and was not the owner. All I kept thinking was only if the owner knew how she was handling their store. We did end up purchasing items because like I said earlier they have some wonderful items but the customer service, rather lack thereof was just ridiculous.

My daughter is six years old so I feel like she's like in between the toys stage with older girl taste. The sales lady was super nice and she helped us look through the merchandise. When we went inside, they were offering a photo event where you can take professional photos with The Photographer. The place was such a cute place for children however, the prices were a little high. I would recommend but expect to spend a lot of money. My daughter decided to purchase nail stickers which were almost 20 bucks lol
