Thank you Jesus! This place is AMAZING! Found this place yelping for a breakfast place close to us. The menu has everything you could possibly want for breakfast or lunch. I ordered the loaded steak and eggs which came with pancakes but I substituted them for the honey blueberry multigrain pancakes (go hard or go home right?) the steak was tender and flavorful and the mushrooms and onions just pushed the flavor over the edge. The pancakes were sooooooo good topped it with blueberry and strawberry syrup too. You can easily sit for 20 minutes just browsing the menu trying to decide what to eat they have THAT many options. This place has only been around for a year and I am so glad we found this place. Did I mention the server, our waitress is amazing?! Well she is, so attentive. read more

2.5 stars... Just landed at LAX and this was the closest 4 star Yelp breakfast spot.. Ordered the super veggie omelette and it was loaded...I haven't had brocolli on an omelet before, but it worked! My only complaint is that it did not have any avocado. It was served with hash browns which I ordered crispy, but the word must not have gotten to the kitchen. Try the habanero ketchup, it complimented the potatoes!! 2 pancakes rounded the meal, and I amused myself with the 4 varieties of syrup offered. Ambiance is Main Street cafe, and price was slightly above expectations. Good service, average food.. We got seated at 11:04 and they took 30 minutes just to ask for our order and that's because I had to ask a sweeper to tell the waitress to take our order already. Then we waited another 30 mins for our food to arrive. Other tables that were seated after us got their food quick. They didn't even check on us to see if we needed anything. Today June 21, 2023 my family and I wanted to have a good brunch like in every other loaded cafe and we came to the one in West Athens/ GARDENA and once we walked in it smelled funky, it was an odd smell gave me a headache, the service was ok thanks to the host/waiter. Once we got our food and started eating we found a hairs on the potato's. Didn't bother eating the rest but we stayed cautious while eating and found another hair on another potato. Also the sprite wasn't sprite at all it was just sparkling water. And we asked for silverware and when we got them we seen that they weren't clean and had to ask for different ones and ended up eating with plastic utensils. read more

This place hit the spot. I came here w/ bae and the people were nice, accommodating w/ great customer service & extremely attentive. I ordered the chicken crepes and iced coffee. Both were really good. Bae ordered the Swedish crepes w/ eggs, crispy bacon & hash-brown & it was really good as well. For a min. I thought I was at IHOP, very very similar menu. Same taste a tad bit cheaper, great portion sizes so what else can you ask for? I will definitely be back and try something different on the menu. Like bae said it is IHOP w/ a dash of Mexican. We tried their Swedish crepes, the tacos with Carne Asada, and one other dish I forgot the name of. Everything was really good! The tacos I got had these mashed potatoes instead of beans at the bottom of the shell and it was delicious! The Carne had so much flavor! My boyfriends dish was super good too! He had this dish with egg and mushrooms with some sort of sauce at the bottom. It was so good! The crepes were a good "cooling" dish because after trying their hot sauces we needed it haha. There's a lot of parking in front of the store and the area looks a little shady but I will definitely be going back! read more

Overall a pretty good breakfast joint. I had their Pan's Omelete. I was expecting the veggies and meat to be nicely tucked inside the egg in a half moon shape or something like that....it looked like a scrambled egg with all the veggies and meat....but very flavorful. My co-worker had the banana walnut pancakes and they were delicious. My Boss Lady had the crepes and I think she enjoyed the pancakes more. We definitely plan on coming back. Next time I really want to try their lemon pancakes...I have a thing for sweet lemony thing so this would be the next on my list to try. read more

This was our first time here and the food and service were amazing!! My family and I ordered different items on the menu for breakfast and we all thought our dishes were great! They have a great variety of menu options so there's no way you won't find something you want. The service was great! Our host made sure everything was okay with our order and was super attentive. My son got the churro shake as his drink and it was soo good! All the ingredients there are fresh and were delicious! Their crepes are amazing! I know yelp says the location is closed but it's still open and are currently renovating the new location a few doors down. read more

I really love this place but it has gone way down in service in the past few months. On a Monday I went in to order breakfast take out and it took over 30 minutes. I will say they were pretty busy but it seemed like most of the staff weren't even helping take care of customers. I saw my order on the counter but the servers were too busy doing other things. I had to get up and just stand at the counter until they acknowledged me. Finally one girl saw me and said "is this yours?", pointing to a closed styrofoam box. Umm how am I supposed to know, how about you open the box and tell me? Today I went again with a friend around 1pm to dine in. Came in, the restaurant was about half full. Three servers behind the counter and no one acknowledged us again so we sat in the waiting area. Finally a girl sat us down, took our drink order and brought them to us. A different girl then finally came for our food order. We waited...and waited...and waited. 40+ minutes later, we get our food. She had accidentally dropped the syrup all over my pancakes. She was nice enough to offer another order but I thought that would take just as long so I said no. My alfredo omelette was great, my friend's carne asada fries were lacking seasoning. Overall, I feel like this place always goes through staff changes so quickly and it shows. They even had a sign up for job openings for servers and cooks. Both times I've seen food pile up on the counter and none of the girls acknowledge it. Instead I've seen them disappear into the back, fill condiment bottles, have personal conversations, or having a drink. Also I think the majority of the orders placed were for the workers who were leaving cause 2 girls' shifts ended and they both took boxes of food home. So I guess to-go orders for the staff are more important than your customers' food. Got it. It's really disheartening because I love the food here but these servers need to get better at their job. This place is without a doubt a gem. The caramel iced coffee, dulce de leche crepes, hash browns and sausage are pretty good. Everything has even amounts of seasoning and the coffee is sweet but not overly sweet. Great prices and excellent customer service. I even appreciate the messaged artwork they have on the wall. I'm saving this place to come back the next time I'm in the LA area!!!! read more

Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. I'm a little bit on the fence as far as my feelings for this place. My wife and I had breakfast here on one of my rare days off. I'd seen so many great Yelp reviews that I figured it was worth a visit. But my experience was both pleasant and slightly disappointing. I'll try to keep it short & sweet(ish)... The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The surrounding area doesn't look the nicest or most welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic but has some nice wall decor with inspirational saying on them. The place is relatively small although they do try to make use of all available floor space as possible. This is both a blessing and a curse since it means more access to seating, but in very close proximity to other patrons at times. Let's get down to the food... which in my opinion is good, but not great. The menu selection is plentiful with all your usual egg, omelette and pancake options. And they have crepes, which is a major plus in my book! Portions sizes are pretty generous and pricing is very reasonable. But as far as taste, everything was more or less A-OK to me. For me, nothing really stood out as being exceptional. As previously stated by other Yelpers, it does seem like the owner has connections to IHOP since the pancakes taste similar and the various syrup flavors are identical. IHOP quality food for little diner prices and great service to boot makes this a solid 4-star spot in my opinion. A great breakfast spot for the locals or anyone else that might be in the area. It'd probably be my Go-To place if I lived close by. But for everyone else, it's probably not worth the trek since you can find equally good breakfast spots that are closer to where you live. read more

I recently visited Loaded Cafe with high hopes after seeing their impressive social media presence. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The restaurant wasn't busy, but cleanliness seemed to be an issue with dirty plates on several tables. While the complimentary warm mini concha was a nice touch, the service was lacking. I struggled to get a simple coffee refill and had to repeatedly ask different servers. For our meal, my coworker opted for steak and eggs, and I chose the chile verde, which was recommended as popular and moderately spicy. The salsa, however, was overwhelmingly spicy, far beyond the expected level. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our food took 30 minutes to arrive. My coworker's portion was so small it resembled a child's meal, and my dish was equally disappointing in size and presentation - especially for the $17 price tag. The chile verde's color and taste were nothing like the menu's depiction. Again, service for refills was poor. I had read about the owners' journey in starting the business, which seemed promising, but it appears the focus has shifted away from essentials like menu quality and customer service. The diverse menu seems to lack a clear direction, and the fusion of American and Mexican cuisine falls short in execution. Based on this experience, I cannot justify a return visit. Paying $50 for such unsatisfactory meals and service was not worthwhile. It's a reminder that great marketing doesn't always translate to a quality dining experience. I've never done a review but I want to give credit to a great dining experience. We walk in and immediately hear a shout from the back welcoming us. We stood there for about a or two and the server APRIL came out with full plates in hand saying she'd be with us shortly. The manager MARIA came out right after with drinks in hand and then got our table ready. Our server was APRIL and she informed us that she would be with us shortly as she had several tasks to do which I really admired. MARIA dropped us off fresh warm conchas while we waited. When APRIL came she was very sweet and informative and also apologized about the wait which we didn't mind as our party are restaurant workers as well and understand. The food was really good and APRIL'S recommendation of using the green Sriracha for an added kick was really good. APRIL was really pleasant through whole experience even though sweat covered she always had a smile on her face. MARIA charged us and was very sweet as well . I originally was just going to do a 5 star review for free the crepe but didn't even bother asking about it because they were understaffed which my whole party understood (I'm a GM of a restaurant as the rest of the party were managers of various positions) with the whole "situation" businesses are slower so staffing so we completely understood. Excellent food. They also have fresh smoothies made. I just wish it was more affordable! They charge for Everything!! With that being said.. they Do have a lot of options to choose from so you don't have to add onto your meal if you choose to (for example if i wanted spinach amd bacon added to an omelet or something). On a positive note they give a good size portion for the kids pancake meal.. so we usually get that and add am extra egg or sausage if we feel more hungry. Again, rice was not good on its own. Over all, I'd give the food a 4.5 not a full 5 because the rice was so dry and they gave me watered down sour cream. Didn't care for the salsa with the chips, very tomato flavor heavy, I asked if they had a spicy salsa and they do which was very good. The place itself is very small but super cute inside and out, Parking is also very limited. So if you decide to give this place a try, HAVE CASH**** to avoid a crazy fee. Be careful of the dry rice.
