    Large iced Snickers

I got a large iced Snickers coffee and it was delicious! Definitely on the sweeter side but that's what I normally go for. To be fair, they did warn me that the Snickers drink is sweeter than the Milky Way (the other fun option) so next time I might try the Milky Way, but I wanted to go all out for this first time! The outdoor patio was nice and the location is great! Overall a great spot.

We stopped by Vail Village to peruse a bit before we headed back to the city. But first, we came to Loaded Joe's for a quick breakfast and some coffee as they had a nice selection of coffees, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and more. It's one of the more affordable options in these neck of the woods as well. I ordered a medium milky way and we also got two breakfast burritos to share as I had read they are quite large. It was quiet and slow when we arrived so our order came out pretty quickly. We opted to eat outside on the patio to enjoy the fresh mountain air and listen to the stream that runs next to the coffee shop. They have a handful of tables outside and I would definitely recommend sitting out there when the weather is nice. They do have some seats available inside along with some big, comfy couches if you're looking to get cozy. The coffee was on the sweet end and had an almost alcoholic aftertaste to me, but I still liked it. We also enjoyed our burritos and it was the perfect size to share. All in all, it was a great way to start our morning and would recommend a stop here.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Disgusted after witnessing the person selling / handling my sandwich was the manager- I work for a major f&b company, requires all salaried managers to be food safe certified. I can tell the people at this establishment are not. Manager 'Brant' was making my sandwich after smoking a cigarette and not his washing hands. Please think twice before visiting this location. Disgusting sanitary practices. Let me know once your 'manager' has been fired and the sanitation policies are up to standards and maybe will reconsider returning. Thanks! Only cool thing about this place- the bathroom painting. Don't waste your time or risk your health.

The coffee is supremely terrible here. Service was fine and convenient location, but wouldn't return

Yummy almond milk latte! It was perfectly smooth and had a great flavor! The baristas were kind and quick! A little hidden gem in Vail. The size of the iced coffee makes the price (in my opinion) worth it!

    Mocha and Mexican coffee

Came here for coffee before our hike early morning. I got the mocha and it was a little too bold for my taste. My friend got Mexican coffee with an extra shot and she mentioned it tasted watered down. The service was awesome and I liked how they word played the tip jars...pretty funny. But their coffee was just ok.

I stopped in here for a gourmet coffee drink because I was sick of drinking my cheap hotel coffee. Loaded Joe's is conveniently located near the entrance of Vail Village by the highway. Even though I was in and out, I enjoyed how quick and easy I was able to get my coffee drink. Loaded Joe's gets their beans from Rococo Coffee Roasting - a Seattle based company. The nice thing about this place is that they also serve breakfast and lunch sandwiches, beer, wine, and cocktails. I got a Spanish Coffee and enjoyed how smooth and fresh my coffee tasted.

1 star just because I have to. I asked for slight modifications to a smoothie (my husband had done this the previous day with 0 issues) and they were visibly upset. NOTE - theses weren't prepackaged smoothies so they had all the ingredients available and I only asked for them to add banana + peanut butter and no apple juice. They proceeded to loudly make fun of my smoothie order while making it and then when finished, they put on the counter and said "whatever this is".... Extremely rude staff. Only recommend if you want a sour start to your day.

And to stumble upon this chic and inconspicuous cocktail bar in the busy downtown was something I wasn't expecting and became a treat after a nice stroll through the town after dinner in my hotel room. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was at the place where my heart was calling for. There were two gents at the bar and one of them warmly greeted me and said I could sit anywhere I would like. I hence picked one of the bar seats. Except one table that was occupied by a couple I was the only one. I appeared to have picked the right time; I had the whole bar to myself (eventually though, several different groups of people streamed in; only a few of them sat at the bar close to me. The bar was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a little over 10 people.) Jeremy, who greeted me upon arrival, was a super host. As soon as I explained that wine is my usual got-to, he said he could mix and match reds and whites to create a "flight" based on what I had told him as to my likings. His extensive explanations as to what sorts of reds and whites the bar offers/serves was (of course) all in his memory. His eloquent speech with no filler words truly impressed me; he sure is a wine connoisseur. What he picked for me were... -2024 Pepiere "Les Gras Moutons" (Muscadet) -Kobal "Bajta", Hazole Belo (aka Orange Wine) -Sandlands "Red Table Wine (Lodi Red Blend) With his wealth of knowledge, after giving him only a hint of what I liked, what Jeremy selected for me to sample/sip was a superb choice. All of them were world-class excellence with elegance and beauty. I carefully and slowly sipped each one little by little to truly immerse myself in the art of wine. Yes, wine is a piece of art for sure. I think I said it correctly at the beginning of this review. This is a cocktail bar with variety of spirits which Jeremy could easily concoct just about anything from gin-based one to vodka-based one to tequila-based ones to whiskey-based one to name several. For those who don't drink, their zero-proof section also has something interesting to browse and choose. Not to mention, rotating pilsner or IPA on tap to name a few from the beer section as well. If you need a little bite to eat, their (changing) food menu has a good number of New American-style plates. The bar originally opened in a different building back in 2015 (I believe). They moved to the current location in 2019. They also offer various different classes so you can expand/extend your knowledge. So for your next foodie vacation in Vail, make sure to include Root & Flower in your list.

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

Only four of us were there as the other two were across the street at Christy's returning their rental skis. There was a table of 6 but the hostess said she couldn't sit us until the other two arrived. Right then, a guy walks up and asks for that same table. He was by himself and she gave the table with six chairs to him. His full party was clearly not there but she sat him anyway. Why is that allowed? Clearly favoritism. And to be clear, two of his friends showed up and the other three never arrived. So, at that point we told the hostess we were now a table of four and she said we could sit at a table that had 3 chairs. Well okay....we took it. We grabbed the table and asked other tables around us for the extra 3 chairs and everyone was nice enough to give us the extra chairs. Our server, Suzanne was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and immediately brought us our drinks and food. The nachos were tasty. Drinks were good but pricy. I give Suzanne 5 stars, food 3 stars hostess 0 stars.
