Ordered the Reese's PB shake and the chunky monkey shake. Fiancé and I were pretty disappointed. Both cups we received were not even full with maybe about 1/5 of the portion missing. With each shake costing $9 we would've hoped that we got what we paid for but unfortunately we were ripped off and skimped on our portion size. The taste for both shakes were extremely watered down and lacking in flavor. The Reese's PB shake had a minimal peanut butter flavor while the chunky monkey (chocolate, peanut butter, banana) had a very artificial, almost candy like, banana flavor. There were no noticeable chocolate or peanut butter favor aside from peanut chunks they incorporate in it. Maybe I'm a hard critic but TruBowl in Long Beach offers superior shakes. For the same price, you can get a better tasting protein shake with higher quality ingredients and real fruits. Likely will not be going here again. Truly a disappointment when all the reviews on this place are raving about it. read more
